My mom lives with us and we selected Summit View Terrace for respite stay while my family went out of town. Sadly, my mom and I were taken in by Summits façade when we were researching and visiting assistive living facilities. There were hints that this place was not what it seemed after seeing dead bugs on the floor of her room, questionable sheets, and a dirty bathroom before I dropped her off to go on vacation. Also, the only meals my mom ate were breakfast and a turkey sandwich due to limited food selections. One day I called my mom to ask what she had for dinner and her response was hotdogs which she did not want or eat. I think my mom would have starved if it wasnt for friends and family members checking in on her daily. In addition, my moms arms and legs were covered with bug bites when she returned home after our vacation. Nevertheless, we are very disappointed in this facility and would never use or recommend them to friends or family.

My aunt has resided at SummitView Terrace for nearly one year. Our family is very happy and content with excellent care she is given and the wonderful communication between my aunt, staff and family members. We are very lucky to have found such a warm and caring facility for our aunt.

So many of the reviews are from 2 and 3 years ago. Right now, December 2020, my sister is happy to be there. Its been about 3 years since she moved there and she knows the names of everybody - residents and staff. She looks forward to the activities, loves the library there and also the services of Mid-Continent Library and their librarians. She has made some dear friends.A few incidents have upset her in the past but they were mostly misunderstandings. Shes not crazy about the picnic style meals but it would be hard to satisfy all the residents 3 times a day.Covid-19 regulations have been strictly followed. Were all eager to be done with them once the pandemic passes.

Wonderful place for those in need of assisted living care. The staff is attentive, caring, and dedicated. The Director of Nursing, Nina, is compassionate, knowledgeable, and diligent. The Activities Director, Tracy, is dynamic and effervescent. Numerous activities are available to the residents. The physical facility itself is clean, well maintained, and spacious, and is located in a beautiful rural setting.If you want confirmation that your loved one is in the right place, just look at the smiling faces and cheerful demeanor of the residents of SummitView Terrace.

This place is REALLY nice. My grandmother has been here a couple of years. She is really happy and loves the staff. This is not your stereotypical nursing home. They go above and beyond to make your loved ones comfortable and always have many activities. Weekly live music, large group games like bingo, and wonderful holiday activities. The rooms are really nice too. Honestly I can go on and on. I am really happy my grandmother is here.

I chose SummitView for the location, atmosphere, staffing, & pricing. I toured a lot of facilities before I made a decision. My mother likes it there & she feels safe. Staff is attentive & knowledgeable of the individual residents needs. If an issue is brought to there attention, they address it. Plenty of things to choose from on the activities schedule each month.

Amazing Assisted Living Facility!

My family members stayed at Summitview for a little more than a year and we all had a wonderful experience. The staff truly cared about her health and well being. The director of nursing services is excellent. The staff and community is an A+ in my book.

My very dear friend was here. It was because of this place she went downhill fast. She told the aid Emily she could not get up. She was made to she fell for the third time. Sustained a head injury . I went to see about her. They did not know I was in the hallway. Heard Emily being very verbally abusive to her. We were told by staff they used another patients pain medicine to give her. She was very mentally sharp until that fall. She was never able to go pack. In 9 months time she was in five other facilities. She finally passed away this April.

Summit View has been a wonderful place for my mom. The staff truly cares for the patients and do everything in their power to create a positive environment. I highly recommend it.

My Dad has been at Summit View for 2 years now. He likes it there and it feels like home there. We love the staff and he is well taken care of.

Visited this facility and hated what I witnessed! A resident that seems to be wheelchair bound was sitting at table (in dining room) she urinated all the way through her clothes and had puddle of urine underneath her on floor. Staff members including the DON walked past this resident many times and never said anything to resident. I reported it to the DON but nothing was done about the situation as I was told the DON was going to take care of it but instead got on the phone. I tried reporting this to Admin but it looked as if she were in a meeting. I would not recommend this facility to anyone! Very poor management and residents are not very well cared for.

I love all of the activities that they do with the residents. Crafts, games, parties and making items for donations to help others.

The DON has mental issues and the staff are on drugs!
