I was fortunate to have been a full-time employee of ILC for almost 3 years. I worked in numerous positions there, including bedside RN, nurse manager, wound care nurse, LTC- MDS coordinator, parade organizer and Interim Director of Nursing. The only reason I am presently not working for ILC is my having to move back east last May 2020, due to elderly parent health issues.I really enjoyed working with the ILC team, from housekeeping to the CEO. They are open to suggestions and take the time to listen. The team members enjoy caring for the residents, all of who are charming and unique in their individual ways. We all strived, every day, to bring our best selves to the residents and add joy to their golden years. Covid has brought and continues to bring its challenges. The ILC team will push through and be victorious in the end.It was truly Camelot for me as an employee at ILC. I have a family member who works here and the staff management is absolutely terrible. I have now heard so many horror stories about the management not doing anything to punish or replace workers who refuse to do their work. The chef refuses to purée food for memory ward patients who are legally required to have it, even after patients have choked on their food. Employees will leave their shifts with no repercussions and the memory ward in particular seems to be completely understaffed.Endangerment of your patients Immanuel Lutheran, thats whats happening. Get your management fixed so your staff gets fixed.

Phenomenal community with amazing and caring staff. This facility is beautiful, and really is one of a kind.

My mom lived at BHT for ten years, was and still is the best care community in the Flathead Valley.

Immanuel Lutheran Communities has caring staff and a friendly atmosphere. The buildings are beautifully renovated and newly expanded. Buffalo Hill Terrace has great food and there is a lot happening.

My grandmother was in the Retreat for several months recovering from a Stroke. During her stay the staff were extremely compassionate and kind. They took excellent care of her and were very knowledgeable medically. She has a very complicated medical history that required a lot of nursing oversight. They gave the absolute best therapy to her. I have no doubt that the Retreat is the best place for a patient to recover from a stroke or illness. The therapy staff made it possible for her to walk and function independently again. She needed Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy after her stroke. Had she gone to another facility, I doubt she would have been able to return home and walk again. The Retreat Manager Alexx was excellent to work with. She addressed every concern we had, and followed up with us timely. The Social Worker Susan was extremely helpful with giving us resources when it came time to taking her home and needing community help. Everyone there was excellent, but a few of the best were Rosie, Ashley, Margie, Lavonne, and Kathy. They treated my grandmother as if she were their own family. If she needs skilled nursing in the future ILH is the only place she will go.

I worked here about 10 yrs ago in skilled, but with the whole google reviews now a thing and #metoo, i figured its time to write this. I was sexually harassed in the workplace and took it directly to the DON, and she said she would take care of it. About 2 weeks later i was called into the office and she wanted to know if its possible i misheard the co-worker or misinterpreted the co-worker, despite the fact i named everyone who was there that witnessed it and who felt bad for me. she went on to say that shes known this co-worker for a long time and doesnt seem like that is something the co-worker is capable of. Needless to say, i was made to look like a fool and so i eventually quit as ZERO ACTION was taken against this co-worker. I see recent reviews stating they do not care about their workers....they didnt back then either :(

Really kind people in one of the most beautiful places. Looking forward to the new Villas opening.

The people in management treat their worker poorly and while I was there as a visitor, it was VERY clear.
