The front desk ladies were kind, happy people who welcomed me into the facility. Dr. Brandt was thorough in his exam of my newly added artificial knee and gave me great praise for me working so hard to recover from surgery. He was astounded that Id had my teeth cleaned without taking antibiotics first, due to the fact that stirring up anything in the mouth (any kind of event, like cleaning, pulling a tooth or having any kind of oral surgery) stirs up bacteria, which puts it in the bloodstream and can go straight to any kind of surgery youve had done (like knee replacement) and cause HUGE problems with healing. It would cause a BIG dilemma.Luckily, I seemed to have dodge a bullet. I had told my dentist that I had just had a huge surgical procedure, which he should have taken seriously and prescribed an antibiotic BEFORE the teeth cleaning. So be wary and insist that your dentist prescribes antibiotics BEFORE he does the procedure, killing off all the potential germs that could affect your health in a very dramatic negative way. THIS IS SERIOUS, esp. when you have had a surgery, then had your teeth cleaned. Ask your dentist so you dont have to dodge a big bullet. Dr. Brandt was so relieved that I did not show any symptoms following my dentist apptmt. So often this kind of outcome is not normal. Get that antibiotic before your dentistry visit...!

I’ve been a patient for over 10 years. No problems until recently. My knee replacement had been scheduled for April 2020 but was postponed due to Covid-19. I received a call when they started surgeries again asking if I wanted to be put back on Dr Brandt’s schedule. Affirmative and was given a date of 10/6/2020. I’d heard nothing so called the day after Labor Day holiday. I was told I haven’t been seen in years. I had a hip replacement by Dr Mackman January 8, 2020?? The woman I spoke with finally found the date I had an X-ray of the knee, but nothing further. She was going to send a message. This happened on September 8. I’ve left 3 more messages but have had no contact. Looks like I’m not having surgery in October, but it would have been courteous to advise me of this since I’d rescheduled other appointments until 2021. I’m very disappointed to put it mildly. This is not the way to run a clinic. Makes me wonder if Dr Brandt knows what’s happening.

Service was good until after my procedure, now I cant get through to anyone and if I do they say they will call back but never do. I also went in for my follow up appointment which I was early for to find out that the doctor called in and they had no answer of when to reschedule and when I again got through to schedule a appointment they said the soonest is a month out , and the Doctor would call before my appointment but still nothing

Dr. Dugan helped my mom immensely with some foot pain she had long neglected. He even followed up with her and suggested many alternatives and solutions. Super nice guy and I would highly recommend him.

I went in for a long overdue assessment for my foot. Dr. Randy Dugan took good care of me and was very through with asking me questions, and looking at my foot and getting me x-rays. He immediately gave me what I needed to get by with the pain and was honest with me with how to proceed from there. He followed up with me and suggested to see about getting orthotics to help realign things as I was manipulating my foot to help with the pain. Once again, it was nice to see someone genuinely care. I would highly recommend Mr. Dr. Randy Dugan as I find him to be not only very honest but very knowledgeable. He loves what he does and it shows.

Gave it three stars because dr. Brandt was fantastic, but he was the only good thing about my experiences at this place. I tore the ligament in my knee that keeps the kneecap in place and I waited for about a month and a half just for them to send an MRI request to my insurance. Just an MRI request that for some reason I had to wait a month and a half with a painful injury for. During that month and a half I made SEVERAL calls and left so many messages and No one ever answered the phone, nor did any of my messages get returned for that duration of time. I was starting to get a stiff leg because I was forced to keep a straight leg for so long. I am no where near a confrontational person and always do everything that I can to avoid conflict and I had to leave a very demanding message including the mention of a lawyer and thats when they finally got back to me. So that told me that theyd been listening to the messages, just choosing not to respond to them. I got my surgery done by dr. Brandt finally, and he did a very good job. I have been trying to get in recently to get it looked at because Ive been having some struggles and I have been making phone calls and leaving messages and still theres no one answering the phone or returning the messages. My advice, if you want something done quickly consider going somewhere else.

Ive had a great experience here, and also a very annoying experience. First doc was perfect, explained everything, and treated well. The second doctor knew what to do from a doctors point of view but completely ignored the mom point of view. Just a bit of advice, often times moms have a lot of experience and actually do know what they are talking about. To split a 10 years old boys broken hand in ace bandage simply will not do.

Terrible experience. I had a torn meniscus in my knee and since I have had this before was pretty sure it was the same soft tissue injury that will not show up on x-rays. The patient Bill of Rights state we have a right to participate in decisions about care and to refuse treatment. However, I was told that I could not be examined until I had an X-ray. I advocated for exam first, then MRI if needed but was told that insurance would not even pay for an MRI unless x-rays had been done. I called my insurance company and they said that is NOT their policy. So not only was I subjected tounecessary radiation, but it added to my cost while generating significant income for the clinic. Indeed after the exam a MRI was indicated and the x-rays were useless. I would have probably overlooked this, however after getting the MRI it was a 2 week wait until follow up. I was in significant pain with my knee frozen at about 30 degrees, had already fallen twice that very day. My Physical therapist said he could help with pain an mobility until I could be seen, however the PA did not think it was necessary and would not give me a prescription (why? No profit?) I was told just be careful As a nurse of 35 years I am beyond appalled. I received immediate and compassionate care switching to Northwest Orthopedics.

I could not be more pleased with the service from Flathead Orthopedics! I had surgery for a meniscus tear in my knee and from everything to scheduling the MRI to performing the surgery, the doctors were very thorough and I clearly understood what was going on the whole time. 5 stars all day!

My mother came in for a broken shoulder. They live in the Flathead Valley in the summer. Was treated with zero empathy and respect. Was told by the doctor he didn’t know how long it would take to heal and any other questions should be directed to a family physician. I was shocked by the lack of interest and concern. First and last visit all at the same time

Their urgicenter dealt with my broken wrist in a timely manner (no need to go to the ER!). Staff is pleasant. When cast revisions were needed to be made, they always fit me into the schedule at the last minute. They also saw a friend with a torn hamstring through their urgicenter. Similar experience.

Had a terrible time getting adequate pain management and getting any phone calls back. Also had a terrible phone experience with dr batemen who does not understand in my opinion what accountability or a hippocratic oath means. He was already involved in a malpractice suit you can see on google if you look up his name and medical lic. He is beyond reproach when being offensive. Also medical office manager was rude and ignorant to situation of my lack of health care and called me after hours to stick up for dr batemen without doing due diligence in seeking information on situation. She was extremely rude and condescending. I will be filing grievances and advise others to contact KRMC patient advocates for the same if they have issues with this facility. I would not recommend this place to my union or non union brothers and sisters.

My doctor is retiring, but I was essentially forced to leave this practice for other reasons. Their office computer systems are hopelessly screwed up. I had an MRI that was sent to NW Imaging for review by a radiologist. Fine. But the clinic gave the radiologist a 10-year-old address for billing. It wound up in collection while I was paying my other bills religiously, month-by-month. Later, I had some work done in the attached surgical center (just west of the main clinic). The two offices were entirely able to intercommunicate because some Einstein-er programmer or account (maybe a tax advantage?) had set it up that way. Maybe 10 years ago this place was top-notch, but... it aint now. The last thing to mention was that - when I called in, I found the phone system difficult to navigate - and when I DID leave a message for my doctors nurse, she took 2+ weeks to return my call. Not one time, but several times. I could read the tea leaves - time to go. My doctor and his PAs were great. But I would not feel comfortable dealing with that office again, esp as other choices exist.

Upteen visits, upteen tests and xrays, 2 codisone shots - and knee pain continued for years without relief. Doctors and PAs very self centered throwing around big words and little thought. Went to Missoula Bone and Joint in Missoula - just the opposite and with MRI test they hit the nail on the head. Just had microscopic surgery and finally on road to recovery and less pain.

Rude secretaries they dont help or answer questions! They didnt care that I was a person and just brushed me off there shoulder. I will never recommend this place to anyone. The way they treat you is so wrong on so many levels! If I Hadnt called the to figure out what was going on they never would of contacted me! The only reason I gave this place a star is because it wouldnt let me give zero stars!

Meh. I rolled my ankle on 12/4 and was concerned that it may have been broken because it looked like there was a softball under the skin. Xrays showed no breaks, and I was instructed to take it easy (and take ibuprofen). I paid half of my insurance deductible for this visit, foolishly thinking that it would count toward any subsequent treatment that may be necessary (my fail there). Fast forward to March...it still hurts and the swelling is still quite profuse, so I go in again and am treated to an MRI. Turns out I tore 95% of a tendon and a ligament in my foot. My insurance deductible was reset at the beginning of the calendar year, so I get to start anew with that. I called to ask the Doctor some questions about my symptoms and requested that he call me to talk about them. His Nurse called instead and assumed that I only had one question, which was if I should come in again. Fine, but I did want to ask a few more of the Doctor. I detected a hint of irritability in her voice, so speaking with her wasnt a joy. Pre-op with Randy was great. You can tell he really cares about his Clients. Surgery went well on the 13th with the man you see in the photo - Dr. E. Im basing my 4 star rating purely upon the interaction with the nurse. The rest of my experience was top notch and I cant blame the staff for my choosing a crappy insurance company (United Healthcare).
