I was dubious about halotherapy, but I cannot overstate how wonderful it is, in our climate, to breathe dry, salty air. The Cave is utterly relaxing. Crushed Himalayan salt carpets the floor like sand. The walls are salt tiles, gently backlit. There are zero gravity chairs, swings, toys so you rake the salt into a zen garden or play trucks in it. I left with my sinuses clear for the first time in months, with a sense of wellbeing that dogged me for the rest of the day. I highly recommend for self-care, parties, catching up with old friends. Ive also had a massage here, and can testify that it was top-notch.

A great place to enjoy a relaxation session. I was pain-free for a week after visiting the salt caves and I have rheumatoid arthritis. I enjoyed the professional and knowledgeable woman, Jan who assisted me with my experience and also introduced me to some beautiful essential oils. As soon as I entered I felt calm. I was able to meditate and give my body a warm comforting break. I could sit in a chair and rub my toes in salt, hang from their circular swing, stretch on a yoga mat, play with tractors and sand toys, and rake the sand to name a few for an hour long. All while listening to soothing music that I could turn up or off. It is a warm treat for a cold dreay day. I highly reccomend.

I highly recommend checking this place out if you havent already! Its very cool! Very inviting and calming atmosphere. When you walk through the door be prepared to be greeted with a big smile and cheerful personality ready to answer all of your questions! I walked in knowing nothing about the place and left with a lot of information! I totally plan to utilize the glacier salt cave and all they have to offer! The salt room is beautiful with nice lighting, salt all over the floor, salt walls, and salt flowing into the room. Sitting inside there is very relaxing! I purchased a salt rock lamp and have been using it a couple days. I love the fire-like glow it puts off! I definitely will be purchasing more of these for my family! 5 stars for incredible atmosphere and awesome staff!

Love it! The salt cave is so peaceful and relaxing. They also have a wonderful assortment of salt lamps and bath salts! If you havent been there yet you dont know what youre missing.

I found them to be extremely relaxing and I would say that is a real benefit in this day and age. The relaxation benefit definitely helped both my sinus condition and my breathing difficulty. I would recommend this form of treatment to everyone. I certainly enjoyed my time there. The owner and other workers were very friendly and accommodating to the needs of customers. I feel this is a terrific business for people!

The cave is such a great place to go on a wet fall day! It always lifts my moods. And my kids always take excellent naps after a session in the cave. The owner is very knowledgeable and can answer any question you have. The massage therapist is the best Ive ever been to. And they take Walk ins for massages!

My sister and I went to the salt cave today for the first time. Such a relaxing experience relaxed and breathing so well. The woman who helped us (I believe she was the owner) was so nice and made us feel so relaxed and welcome from the moment we walked in. She really made the experience so much better with her calm and informative manner. I will definitely be going back and bringing more friends with me! I highly recommend it for anyone!

I come here every time I am in Juneau to visit my family. The warmth, music and lighting is extremely relaxing. My younger nieces and nephews enjoy playing with sand toys in the salt while the adults zone out and enjoy the peaceful environment. The no cell phone/electronics is a welcome plus to being in the salt room. I need a room like this in my home!

I just had a massage with Bri, and I must say it was incredible... and perfect. Shes consistent to whatever depth of massage you request throughout the whole session, and checks in with you occasionally to ensure youre getting what you need. The room was quiet and beautiful with lighted pink salt brick walls. Very relaxing just to walk in the room. Excellent spa and people!

While up in Alaska I stopped by the Glacier Salt Cave & Spa. I found this spa and decided to check it out. I walked in and was able to get a massage and the mud mask that day. I left feeling rejuvenated, revived and my face felt incredible. Its so beautiful with the salt walls that light up and I really enjoyed the music. 5 stars

If you live here or just visiting, this is a MUST do here in Juneau! I just love going into the salt cave at least once a week. I can honestly say that I have improved sleep, breathe easier and love buying the salts to take home for a soothing hot salt bath. I have a Himalayan salt lamp, that looks like a bowl of rocks that glow all day and night, its beautiful addition to our home and my families health.

The salt walls are beautiful, truly amazing! I didnt want to leave. The employees were very helpful. I left there feeling rejuvenated and my sinuses unplugged. I bought a jar of Sole for the health benefits and now I want a salt lamp. I love salt therapy!

I received a Gift Certificate to go for a session. I ended up buying a 8 session pass. Want to come every week knowing the cold and flu session is upon us. I want to keep my kids healthy this winter. 5 stars

Such a great gem in this town! The adults had an amazing time, and so did our children! The owner was very nice and explained some benefits of the salt! Very kid friendly also, they even provide the toys!

The owner and staff are well informed and always willing to take time to chat about the products. Ive completely changed my skin care to their products. The prices are comparable and they are always responsive and welcome input on how the items work.

The price point for the cave is less than other caves around the states. The owner participates in First Fridays and often posts specials on the Facebook page. This place is an oasis for those of us who enjoy self-care and prioritize relaxation and isolation from the stresses of life. Glacier Salt Cave is a gem! I highly recommend trying out the cave. Its locally owned, operated and is a wonderful addition to what is already a charming town.

This past New Years Eve my mom and I went into the Glacier Salt Cave not knowing anything about Himalayan Salts. We were greet by Char the spas owner and she began to tell us all about the health benefits of the salts. After she talked to us we walked into this beautiful salt cave and sat in these gravity free chairs. By the end of our one hour session we were totally relaxed and ready to take on the new year. The next day my 76 year old mom who suffers from COPD started to breathe easier. It was truly a miracle to see my mom not using her medicine. I am very happy to have salt cave right here in Juneau because I love going in there to buy salts to use for a hot salt bath to relax my muscles and improve the look of my aging skin. This is a MUST do!

During my stay in Juneau with my family I visited the salt cave. It was such a wonderful experience! I took my cousin and we definitely enjoyed it! When I return I will most definitely be coming back!

The cave itself is wonderfully lit with behind the wall lighting and the main focal point wall has a changing light color wheel behind it so as you are relaxing in the very comfortable zero-gravity reclining chairs, you feel a sense of peace. The halo therapy (salted air pumped into the room) has made a difference in my sinuses, they clear and remain that way for days and days afterwards.

I love the salt cave! I was going regularly with my toddler when the flu was passing through my house. It didnt touch me! My toddler had a little sniffle, but it didnt develop any further. My husband is asthmatic and was struggling with pneumonia after the flu. I took him to the salt cave and saw immediate improvement with his symptoms. He said he felt 30-40% better. I also use the salt cave for my 2 year old daughter. She has a sensory processing disorder. The cave is so soothing for her! She loves to touch the salt and carry the heavy salt in buckets. Its a sensory sanctuary for her. Also, something about the salt cave makes her sleep! We have struggled with her sleeping patterns since day one. After we visit the salt cave, I can expect at least three consecutive nights of decent sleep and a few good solid naps. Immediately after we leave the salt cave, she has a burst of energy and then she crashes for 3-4 hours.

Our extended family (ages 13-76) enjoyed a recent Alaskan cruise, and also enjoyed the usual wonderful excursions that one would expect (crab feast and wilderness trip, White Pass train, dog sled camp). However, we fit a session at the Glacier Salt Cave & Spa into our itinerary and what a great way to press the reset button! The spa is within reach of the port -- we took the $4 r/t shuttle from the port to the tram station, then walked about 20 minutes to reach the spa. Once at the spa, our group enjoyed the salt cave for a private one hour session. The adults settled into the relaxing zero gravity chairs, and the teen decided to make salt angels on the floor, then curled up and went to sleep. The lighting in the room is beautiful and calming, the music relaxing, and at least half of the group fell into a deep asleep. The others were meditating or at least quietly enjoying the environment. We were all shocked when we learned our hour was up -- the time went by too quickly. Afterwards, the group felt relaxed, refreshed and rejuvenated. If I lived nearby, I would make this a regular part of my wellness program. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a break from the norm.

What a treat to experience a session in the beautiful salt cave! The halo treatment was fantastic. My husband and I came from California with lingering coughs and after a 30 minute session we had no cough two days later. It was so beautiful. The children played with beach toys while we relaxed. The teenagers layed down and took a cat nap. If youve never visited the cave, you must take advantage of it.

My daughter has been using a Himalayan salt inhaler for nearly 5 years as part of her asthma management and its made a huge difference, and I couldnt have been more thrilled to discover I can now purchase her replacement salts locally! Looking forward to adding visits to the salt room to her asthma maintenance as well!

Me and my ten friends met in the cave for a wonderful time of relaxation. We all felt refreshed and some of us had slight colds but felt way better after the halo-therapy session.

I visited this salt cave with some family members and it was a fun, relaxing experience. The chairs are very comfortable and the lighting is perfect.

I have plantar flacitus, which causes my feet to be in horrible pain, after spending an hour in the salt sauna the pain completely went away! Since then Ive gotten on the salt warmers for my feet and I love it!
