I called with concerns about my gums and they were able to schedule an appointment in 2 days. Then called me right back with a next day cancellation. The technician was able to determine my issue and reassured me that it was not a deterioration. After brief cosmetic work, my visit was finished in 1/2 an hour.

I’ve been coming to this dental office for many, many years. All of the staff are exceptional. Going to the dentist isn’t one of my favorite things to do but Dr. Pinney and and his staff always make me feel comfortable with the work that needs to be done.

Dr Pinney is knowledgeable about dentistry and it’s importance to his patients good health. He works hard to stay current with new technology. I appreciate the time he took from his work to explain these new technologies to me. I feel he gave me good advice based on my particular case and available treatment. Most of all he saw me on a holiday when I had a bad toothache. He was very kind and helpful.

Was in severe pain and had to have some emergency work done... Dr. Pinney and his team graciously squeezed me in to their busy schedule on the same day I called. Extremely grateful as I was a new, first time patient, currently uninsured, during the Corona/Covid times...Exam, X-rays, pre-OP set-up, procedure (extraction of two teeth), post-OP paperwork (billing and prescription stuff) in less than two hours.Dr. Pinney and his assistant did such a great job that I sit here, writing this review in absolutely zero pain and virtually zero swelling whatsoever. Definitely recommend this Dentist and his crew. 5-stars all the way!. :)

The service was excellent, the staff was quite kind and the receptionist Renee made me feel right at home helping me fill out the comprehensive yet intuitive form. Dr. Benjamin actually went over the form with me question by question and of course answered any I had. I really felt like the people there were invested not just in my health but my wellbeing. I am a long-time patient of Dr. Moritz, a great dentist with a great staff, several of whom still work there. Since Dr. Moritz more or less retired I have been seeing Dr. Pinney and he has been doing a terrific job. Last week he and the staff came to my rescue on short notice, staying late to deal with a dental emergency one day and working through lunch the following day to deal with another one.

I received very good care today during my semi-annual cleaning and check-up. The hygienist worked carefully and all staff were friendly.My family has had state employee health insurance and access to high quality dentistry for 25 years from this practice - initially from Dr. Moritz and now from Dr. Pinney.However, I have the impression Dr. Pinney does not accept Medicaid. If that is the case, I encourage him to begin offering care to adult Medicaid recipients. I understand that Medicaid pays providers significantly less than state insurance and private-pay, but serving the community is a responsibility of being an elite health care professional - part of the package.If I am incorrect and Medicaid recipients can make appointments with Dr. Pinney, then I am delighted and also very sorry for spreading misinformation.

Dr. Pinney and staff members were recommended by a co-worker approximately five years ago. The patient experience at this Juneau dental practice from all the practice team members is professional and outstanding and most importantly patient centered.
