Best dentist in Johnstown. I had so many bad experiences with other dentists. I would go then to and get something fixed. It would fall out and within a 2 week period I had 2 other cavities. Other dentists in th area said my teeth were fine. I ate a cracker and a tooth shattered in my mouth. I feel as though Dr Huber only does what is necessary. He doesnt nickel and dime you for unneeded care. You can have spots and not have cavities. Some dentists go overboard with the care. Everytime I want to the dentist for 2 years I had issues that needed fixed. I went to Dr Huber for close to 4 years maybe and I have had no issues. No teeth shattering in my mouth. No sensitivity and oddly enough no cavities. He did repair a chipped tooth and a filling that was done by the other people who I spoke of above. To each there own. I feel he is the best dentist in the area. We moved 40 minutes away and are driving back specifically to see him as a dentist. No unneeded fillings. Just honesty about what is an issue and what could be an issue in the future and what could wait a while longer. As for the root canals. Insurance companies only pay for x-rays every so many times. Visual inspections cant find needed root canals.

I love this place. They take you shortly after you show up, do honest work. Very family friendly. I went here for 10 years and never had a problem with the work performed.

DONT GO HERE!Huber just popped out my filling earlier today during a check up, said wed have to pay $118 per tooth for fillings, and counted the tooth he just botched.Ive had this same filling done by him THREE DAMN TIMES already! Absolutely horrible, already scheduling with AspenDental to get this fixed.Atleast the dental assistants here are nice.

At first, I liked him.. he was nice and so was everyone else.... but he was taking so long to do the work on my teeth it’s like he did one tooth and then tells me to come back to do another one, then all a sudden i needed a root canal, then he stopped doing work on me til I got that done and well who just has $600 laying around... so I couldn’t get work done til it was done was a bit ridiculous, I go to another dentist and the complained about the work he did. It’s a shame.

Went back four times for a filling that kept falling out every night that I brushed my teeth. The last time I went back he told me he would try something new. Still fell out that night. I didnt even bother calling and found someone new. Highly recommend seeing another dentist if youre able too. Ive seen dr huber about 8 or so times this year? No one should ever see the dentist that much. My NEW dentist told me it looks like I havent been to the dentist in years. Ive been seeing dr huber since I was 14 and Im now 22. Highly upset that I need $800 of work done, but last time I saw dr huber I was all good. My mouth is full of cavities and root canals and extractions that need done. Wont make this mistake again.

When I moved back to the area my Mom reccomended Dr Huber. My husband and I both began going to him, routinely, every 6 months. We thought we were getting great care, the assistants were very nice and friendly, as well as the front office staff. Dr Huber was a man of few words, but appeared to be doing a good job. Despite complaining about a sensitive tooth, Dr. Huber told me there was nothing to worry about and I might have a residual cavity that was flaring up once in a while. We recently moved to Pittsburgh and had to find a new dentist. Upon visiting, the new Doc asked how long it had been since we saw a dentist, responding with within the last 6 months he shook his head. I myself, had 3 cavitives, one which had decayed under a filling and required extensive work, and exposed nerves where I mentioned to Dr. huber about having some pain. My husband had 3 cavities also, and needed a bridge placed behind his front 2 teeth because of receeding gum lines. Fast forward a few weeks, when I told my mother not to see Dr Huber for a problem tooth she was having. She went anyways to a scheduled appointment, and when she asked him if her visibly decaying tooth was a problem, he told her no, it will be fine. Well 2 week later, the tooth broke off, and shes never gone back. Now she went to the dentist this morning, where she was told she needed a root canal, 4 cavitives filled, and she has a potentionally cancerous white spot on her gum.I truly cant tell you if he is lazy or if he is truly incompentent to perform his job. If you care about your teeth, please choose another dentist in the area.
