If you have not had an opportunity to experience what the Vault has to offer you are missing out. Today was my first time there. I booked a half hr massage and 15 min reflexology. One word HEAVEN!! Chelsey was amazing!! I have to thank her for letting me relax and enjoy my time. She did not bother me with chit chat. Which was so nice lol I have a very hectic busy life from owning a business, working a side job, kids and 5 dogs all while my husband is at Fort Bragg. So I truly appreciated the silence. This is a great escape from life!! From the comfy robe to the cucumber water and the great customer service this place is top notch!

Fabulous atmosphere. You never feel like you are crowded like some other salons. I had a facial with Angel. She is absolutely amazing and professional. She truly cares for her clients and continues to educate herself on the best procedures and products available.

It was a great, relaxing experience! And 30 minutes for 40 bucks is affordable. The LMT (massage therapist) was excellent. I do think she could have explained some things a little better, like when she was moving the footrests, etc. I would have enjoyed sitting in the rest area a bit more, but I got the impression that the therapist wanted to leave and that I shouldnt stick around. However, it was nice. Id go again. She worked the spots I asked her to focus on. I feel so limber, its marvelous; as someone who lifts patients and heavy objects all day, it was a relief for my aching body. Ill sleep good tonight!

I went in for haircut and waxing my hands and legs. I had layer haircut which was very good. The problem was waxing which took more than 2 hours. I just noticed later that my skin had such a bad reaction and my arm was so red because the kind of wax they use is so different, I would never go here for waxing again, the haircut probably! Not to mention they are so over priced! Probably for the ambience and luxurious feel but well wouldn’t ever go back for a wax session. The people in the salon are nice and good service but I don’t know what kind of wax they use or maybe it just dint suit me!

I had a swedish body massage with a polish and a full pedicure and I was in heaven. Everyone was friendly and professional. They did an amazing job for sure.

This place is beautiful and the wine and cucumber water that they offer are great but that is it! Went there and got the most expensive pedicure they had and disappointing is a major understatement. There was still dead skin left on my sisters toes they couldnt do any design at all not even a French tip. They couldnt even figure out how to use a stamp. 3 hours later feet turned out plain as could be single tone color and not even then right color it is just bad bad such a waste of a lot of money will never ever be going back.

The Vault is beautifully designed but the day that I brought my mother and daughter for spa treatments, the entire place was extremely cold and the selection of music was loud and not relaxing which took away from what was supposed to be a de-stressing experience. I was cold the entire time and the rock and roll music was not what I had expected from a spa and salon.That being said I had a very good facial. The staff was kind and attentive and as soon as they realized how cold it was, they brought a heater into the room and also turned on peaceful music in the resting room.

I highly recommend this place. The staff was very kind and knowledgeable, the business is clean and gives you a relaxed feeling, and the services are excellent. I recieved a massage and a pedicure and I walked out of there feeling relaxed.

I travel all over it is very hard for me to trust people to do my hair and cut my bangs! I left today so happy and greatful for such a beautiful cut. And an amazing blow out!! Thank you!

I am a long time customer and i have been here countless of time. I have To say the spa is going downhill in term of quality. I have a gel manicure and the experience was alright compared to the price. I had A bad experience with the receptionist. This is the older lady, who wears leather pants and cat eyes glasses. She works on 6/11. She had a pretty bad attitude and was condescending toward me. I appear young so she probably didn’t think i could Afford it. She shouted out the price without explaining it. After she charged my credit card, she didn’t even look at me and say thank you. Pretty bad service. Unfortunately , i wont Be coming back to the vault due to her attitude. I paid way too much to be treated that way

Beautiful salon and Spa located in the heart of Downtown. From the minute You walk in the door you are pampered and taken care of. With the many services they offer this is THE go to salon and spa!!!

First off I have been waxed plenty of times, so this was not a first time experience for me. I went to the vault to get waxed. My services were my under arms, a Brazilian, and my eyebrows. As I mentioned before I have been waxed before. I was initially surprised because the “waxer” told me to undress but did not offer me a towel to cover myself up with. I have been waxed before and I have always been offered something to cover myself especially when the “waxer“ is working on other parts of my body. For my Brazilian and for my under arms I have never been in so much pain during and after the waxing. It hurts to move, it hurts to bath, it just generally hurts. I am going into my second day after being waxed and there are still parts of my body that hurts. I would consider going back for other services but definitely not for a waxing. I would rather get an at home waxing kit and do it myself than to go back here to get it done again.

Being someone who moved from the johnstown area, but returned for my fathers funeral, I am so grateful for The Vault accomadating me on such a short notice! Wonderful service!

Nice atmosphere but pricey for the level of service received

Messaged with a question on December 26th, 2017 and have not received a response via Facebook or email. My only question was which color service the one Vault salon.spa gallery image fell under which logically would be an easy answer but to not even be acknowledged is abysmal service. It is getting harder and harder to support local businesses when they dont seem to want business.

It was a very relaxing and enjoyable experience, I cant wait to go back.

The Vault is one of the gems of Downtown Johnstown. Ive had pedicures and hair styles done here and the staff are friendly and comfortable to work with. The location is clean. The prices may be a little higher than what you expect in the Johnstown area but they are worth the extra expense!

Great atmosphere but had one of the worst Brazilians I’ve ever had. Left in pain and it hurt to shower for two days.
