They are great people!! Kind and listen to what u have to say and try their best to try to fix things. I wouldnt go anywhere else . They have been so kind and thoughtful to my needs, This place and the doctors are one in a million to me. They have taken real good care of me. On a scale of 1 to 10 I give them a 10 plus Great Great people .

My appointment with Jalen was very good--he was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. And most of all, he wore a mask, which is respectful, and more than I can say for anyone else in the place. I wont go to a medical facility in the middle of a Covid 19 surge like NE TN is experiencing where only one PT wears a mask, and none of the patients do.

I have two daughters who are nurses. When I had a bad fall, they made certain that I went straight to Watauga Orthopedics when it happened. The professionals there have worked together (surgeon Dr.Hurst, nurse practitioner Melissa McCutchan and physical therapists) getting me back in good shape for 11 1/2 months now. My experience with Watauga Orth. has been wonderful. I can say the same for three of my grandsons and my sister who all have used Watauga.I wouldnt even consider going elsewhere should I ever have a need for further orthopedic care.

My daughters foot was hurting after a cross country race. The Physical Therapist at her school suggested an xray. We went to Watauga Orthopaedics and had the best experience! The entire staff was friendly (not that fake stuff) and helpful. It was fast and informative. We asked questions and Mr. Evans was able to answer them for us. Although she hadnt broken or torn anything, she is out the rest of the season with a boot. I truly appreciate the staff here and thank them for making this a pleasant visit, considering the circumstances. I highly recommend visiting here for any orthopedic needs.

He is always patient, caring, explains what the issue and options are and he has wonderful bed side manners! Excellent experience with Physicians Assistant Alvin Murphy during a hip replacement prep session. Mr. Murphy was very capable, conscientious, caring and kind. He checked me over before the surgery and told me what to expect afterward. I feel informed and confident going into the surgery. Really a very pleasant visit.

If you’re wanting a physical therapist who really seems to care, lets your body’s ability set the guideline while, at same time, helping push your ability to get back to yourself as soon as possible, you want Amanda Meade! I’ve only been a few times but her ability to go at the pace that’s right for my body while also thinking outside the box to work with my amputated leg and create progress is awesome! I’ve had an amputation since I was 10 months old but I had to have an acl reconstruction on that leg. She had never worked with a patient that had had an amputation like mine but that didn’t deter her, she jumped right in and we are working together to get me back to my normal, safely and as quickly as possible. She truly is wonderful!Watauga Orthopedics is an amazing facility all around! I originally saw Dr. Fowler who was absolutely amazing and introduced me to the orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Aiken. He is also absolutely amazing. They’re both very highly professional and very caring. They make you feel comfortable and confident that they will do their best to care for you. They very much so follow through with that confidence they instill in you, as well! The entire office, front and back is amazing! You won’t regret choosing them to care for your orthopedic needs! I have had a very positive experience with this clinic. I broke my kneecap on July 30. I was able to be seen in the clinic right away. I have had good feedback from the entire staff during my treatment, surgery, and follow-up appointments and aftercare. My questions, calls, and concerns have been addressed quickly and satisfactorily.I would highly recommend them for your orthopedic needs!

The whole physical Therapy department is great from the entry to the departure. Will was my physical therapist, he’s exactly what I was hoping for. He’s patient, compassionate and knows his job. If I can afford it, I hope to continue with Will, because I know he would be able to improve my overall health. I wish I could give him more than 5 stars, he deserves it as well as the rest of the staff.

Doug was awesome he thoroughly explained everything and was very patient and listened to everything I had to say. Also the nurse Tristan was super cool. Amanda is an awesome PT!!! My first visit was yesterday, Sept 22, 2021. I had terrible knee pain from a bicycle crash. She thoroughly checked my knee to see exactly where the pain(s) were. She had me do a few exercises to strengthen/stretch the muscles attaching to the knee. They were hard but effective. Amandas last day is next Thursday, 9/30/2021. She is intelligent, a great coach and seems an integral part of Wautagas PT department. She is leaving to spend time from 4pm on with her children. Please consider working with her schedule to keep her on staff. SHES AN ABSOLUTE KEEPER!!!!!!

I came into the walk in clinic and was seen fairly quickly. The entire office works very hard and efficiently to get patients seen. I watched the sweet receptionist for a little while and she is fantastic. She was compassionate and kind to everyone and went above and beyond to help people get checked in. The NP I saw was great, she explained things well and gave me options for treatment which I appreciated.

The staff are so welcoming and compassionate. I had X-rays almost immediately and Dr Brock was very thorough in examining my knee and gave me lots of information. I had a shot in my knee, and was on my way. I love this place!

Today I saw Alvin Murphy, PA-C regarding shoulder and upper arm pain. Alvin was both professional and understanding explaining everything. Xrays were made showing problems in neck and shoulder. Alvin gave me a steroid injection for shoulder and advised me to make appointment with one of the back doctors. As a retired RN I was completely satisfied with everything and everyone whom I had contact.

Doug was very informative and knowledgeable. I highly recommend him.He was pleasant and courteous.

I showed up right at Noon on a Friday. I was afraid I had broken my arm.I was in an out of the clinic in under an hour. That included two x-rays, and confirmation from Dr. Cook that I just severely bruised my arm, it was going to turn lovely shades of black, blue, purple and green. Apply ice and if not better in a few weeks to come back.This was my first time here. EVERYONE was extremely friendly and professional from start to finish.

This review is for Jalen Bridwell who was my Physical Therapist (PT) from August 24th – October 14th when I was recovering full use of my right foot after a calcaneus heel fracture on June 22nd. Jalen is an amazing physical therapist! He’s very informative, listens carefully to his patients’ concerns, and is very knowledgeable about what he does as well as being an excellent communicator with a caring disposition, and a good sense of humor. I felt fortunate to be under his care during the time I was recovering, and I give him high praise for how much he helped me in my recovery. On August 24th, I arrived in a wheelchair wearing a fracture boot, and by October 14th, I was walking a mile a day wearing my walking shoes, and without the use of a cane too. The care I received at Watauga Orthopaedics was the best: from the walk-in clinic, to Dr. Hurst’s office appointments, and finally to my time in PT. The offices and PT facilities were clean and have a positive atmosphere, and everyone who works there is helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Without any hesitation or reservation, I highly recommend Jalen Bridwell as a physical therapist, and all services offered at Watauga Orthopedics.

The staff here made this unexpected and inconvenient situation very pleasant! We could not have walked into a better clinic! Thank you all for taking care of my son!!! He was tackled at a rec center and hurt his arm. Went to the ER and he had a buckle fracture to the forearm. His summer just started so he was upset. This walk in clinic got us in the very next day! The nurses and staff were super sweet! The lady who put on my sons cast even made it so he could still play Fortnite....lol!! Dr Fowler was so amazing. We came back in 2 weeks to see him and needed a splint. We were going on vacation and wanting to swim, so they gave us a splint we could get wet!!! 😁 Thanks guys

NP E Baker was wonderful, he seemed to genuinely care. They were also quick from start to end with my time there. Just all around a fantastic experience.

I went in not being able to walk due to severe pain in knees from psoriatic arthritis. He not only took care of me that day and had me walking again. He also went above and beyond and scheduled some additional procedures to help me in the future . I have been here a few times the past couple of months and they have been excellent every time.

The wait time was horrible. Checked in 6:45, left at 8:45. The NP was very nice and caring, as well as apologetic for the wait. Even though they dont know what is wrong with my foot, I would go back. I will have to make sure I pack my lunch.

Saw Everett Baker NP here for my foot pain. The check in experience is streamlined and I was seen after only a few minutes of waiting. Everett was very helpful and suggested several solutions for my pain. He also administered the least painful steroid shot in my foot that I have received so far. I would be happy to see him again if I need to.

Alvin is very professional, caring, and thorough. I felt like I was in good hands during both of my knee replacements!

The staff here is overwhelmingly kind! I even had a woman from admin use a wheelchair to wheel me into the lobby because walking was hard. The front desk clerk as well as the walk-in clerk was gracious as she collected the required $300 from me. The only thing that I found offensive my entire experience at Watauga is the physician that came into the room. No introductions...had to look at his name badge to establish who and what he was. Then there was the fact he acted as if touching me was offensive to his sensibilities. As well as act as if he didnt know what I wanted when I asked for a doctors note. Quite the opposite of every other person I had encountered and unfortunately his actions are what I remember when I think of Watauga. That and the sweet lady who wheeled me into the lobby. She rocks!

I am from out of state and arrived needing walk in services for a knee injury. I was seen promptly and was finished in less than 45 minutes which included medical history, xrays, and a procedure. I was quite impressed by Mike Evans. The service was prompt and professional, and I am feeling better!
