Dealing with this facility was of of the worst experiences of my life. My grandfather was transferred to them from a rehab facility. The day after we found out he was transferred, I called to get an update on his condition as I am out of town and wanted to be there with him. They checked in with his nurse then told me to ask his son or daughter and hung up on me. Hanging up on someone, as a front desk person, is very unprofessional and uncalled for. I asked my mom who is his daughter and she and her brother had heard nothing. Those were his only 2 children. My mom called to explain and also get an update since she also had not been updated, but she was told the exact same thing and hung up on. This is not how people going through a considerably rough time with a loved one should be treated. The people that work here should be ashamed of themselves.

A kind, caring, and compassionate team. They provided us with assistance and guidance during a sad and difficult time. I cannot say enough good things about the amazing people at Hospice of South Georgia Jesup!

When my mom made the decision to stop dialysis I had no idea what the next step would be. Doing a little research I made the call and that was the best decision i could have made for my mother. The team here went above and beyond any expectations I could have ever imagined. Every question and concern was answered and addressed.Mrs Parker (my mom social worker) was awesome, she did so much I cant even begin to thank her enough.Her nurses where so kind and caring, they talked and sat with her often (Gods angels) always insuring she was comfortable and never in painThe chaplains comforted and checked on my mom often. Even checked in on me to see how I was doing. (That ment a lot to)This team helped make the most difficult time of my life a little better and I will never forget these kind and caring human beings. Thank you all❣

These people are wonderful.

The people of Hospice of South Georgia are Amazing, they helped take care of my brother and then my Mama.When they started taking care of my brother, I was not sure how this was going to work out, but the nurse and CNA that we had were the BEST in the world. My brother did not want their help at first but after the first visit we were ALL sold. They were caring and compassionate. If I needed anything for him I just called our nurse and she came and helped me figure things out, answered my questions and never made us feel like we were bothering them.They were so good to Mama, she was losing her son to Cancer and Stanley Todd and the ladies that worked there would come and talk to her and check on her and make sure that she was ok and taking care of herself. I can never thank them for ALL they did for us.When Mama’s time came 9 months later we called them for help and they were there for us. That was the HARDEST time of my life but they did everything they could to help us through it.For anyone who needs Hospice these people are the BEST in the world.Argenia Busbee
