In May of 2015 our family moved to NC and (we all agree that) one of the things we miss most about Florida, is our old pediatric clinic. The staff was friendly and helpful, the nurses were polite and some quite funny! The Doctors were all good in their own ways. We were seen by several of them during the years we used this medical group. Dr. Douglas Bowling was my husbands doctor when he was a child, so we happily chose him to be our family doctor. We (my husband, (oldest) daughter and I) all love and miss him. He was friendly, laid back, informative and sincerely caring (though I will warn that he was strict about newborns not being in public places during their 1st month of life. He takes their health/safety seriously, and we respected that). We did however have some trouble making a good connection with one of the other doctors, which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. He seemed very educated and intelligent, but both times we were seen by him, we felt like hed brushed off our concerns. He was professional, but distant and very reluctant to prescribe medication. (He expressed a strong concern that parents in general depend on it too much, a view we can understand and respect - though it left us feeling like wed wasted about 2 hours of our day). This is why I said the doctors were all good in their own ways.I highly recommend this medical group. If you dont get along with the first doctor you see, consider trying a different one, as most of them are wonderful!
