I am Very Experienced multiple pet owner....Doc stayed late to help my poor sick Aussie and researched her rare jungle disease and followed up at home that night. Very grateful and happy to have a new Vet I can trust. That makes 2 in my 50 something years.Go hereI mean it
Dr was fast once he got to us. Had 3 cats get rabies shot. The wait time was a little longer then I liked.
Its irresponsible to prescribe medine on a whim or hunch. 63% pulse oximeter is not compatible with life. No labs, no xrays, no blood pressure were performed. Yet thats exactly what this veteneraian did. Giving my 11 year old pup a very expensive Congestive heart medicine ($140) to profit from my desperate situation. Shes off the meds and thriving. Miss diagnosed is an understatement!Old man its time to retire.

It was okay, I felt more judged than anything. Vet laughed at me when I told him what food my dogs eat and made me feel guilty for only doing rabies shot instead of everything else.
Being that i’m new to Florida, i didn’t know of any vets around. We got an appt the same day we called after googling and looking at reviews, did my dogs surgery the next day (torn ACL). Great staff and great Dr!! Highly recommended!

The veterinarian really cares the office staff is very friendly and precise. The veterinarian has been in business quite some time is a pleasure to work with and really cares about each and every animal that he sees. I would encourage everybody to ask about their Puppy Paws Clinic, for a set fee and set schedule he has set up for affordable vet care for your furry loved one!

Had our first visit this morning and was very pleased. Staff was super nice and accommodating and the doctor was very informative as to what food, water and even shampoo to use on our fur babe. We will definitely be using this vet again. Also- didn’t feel like I was being conned into medications and services that were unnecessary- seems to be a thing with other practices.
My dog has had chronic ear infections for a number of years. I went to another clinic at the time. It was a never ending cycle of vet visits and everytime I was told the vet needed to determine what kind of infection ( more money ). Then I was sent home with costly meds. Trying to administer the ear drops was a struggle as I have a big dog. Then back to the vet for a recheck. Three weeks to a month later , I would have to repeat the process again.A friend suggested I switch to Atlantic Animal Clinic. When I went he injected an antibiotic right into my dogs ears. I had to go back a week later for another round. That was it. Its been about five months and Dallas has not had a recurrence.I just wish I made the switch a long time ago. It would have saved me a lot of time and trouble and more importantly, it would have saved my pup from a lot of pain.I highly reccomend Atlantic Animal Clinic.
Dr. B is simply the smartest most trustworthy veterinarian Ive ever met. Hes cared for four dogs and a cat for us over the years, operating beautifully on one last month and coming in after hours for an emergency amputation for my cat just today. Thankful he was there for us without hesitation in our time of need. 🐕🐈❤❤. The world needs more Dr. Bs

First off i wanna start this review off on a good note, the receptionists & vet techs/assistants WERE AMAZING. very compassionate and consoling. so here how is my experience was at this animal hospital with this so called “vet” my cat had been terminally ill and the only option was to put him down. the doctor explained (very quickly and not throughly) that he was going to get the medicine to sedate him/then inject the medication that makes him pass. as you know this is a very tragic and emotional choice to make for your pet. not even 2 minutes after being in the room the my cat consoling him telling him it’s okay to go the vet comes back to sedate him? we told him no we need more time. so he came back again, 5 minutes later. we tried to tell him we needed more time with him. we were beside ourself crying obviously and he wasn’t consoling to our cat or to us. just handed us a box of tissues without saying anything. seemed like he had zero care in the world that we were about to put our cat to rest, and just wanted to get it over with. then, when he finally came in to give him the shot to make him pass, (my cats skin/fur was one huge scab and falling off & exposing raw skin.) the vet grabbed his paw obviously not very gently and ripped a huge strip of his arm skin off and then proceeds to say “ well that makes it easy to find a vein”. not the time or place to be cracking a damn joke. and then after he passed he just left the room. did not say sorry for your loss. no compassion whatsoever. the vet techs and receptionists were so amazing and one of them actually apologized to us and said “sorry about the doctor he’s not a people person and doesn’t have people skills”. BRUCE GET OUT OF THE VETERINARY FIELD. you have zero compassion and i will never recommend ANYONE here ever. putting my cat to sleep was a horrible decision to make but this vet made the experience horrible and animals deserve more consoling and care from the vets not just boom let me give u a shot to pass away and die and then just walk out. he does not care about animals. the only good thing is his prices and that is the ONLY reason we took him there but we had NO idea he was going to be this rude & uncompassionate. he should not be in this field. final.

I have been using Dr. Bruce for years for the care of our animals. He always provides exceptional care to my pets. You can truly feel his compassion towards animals. His front office staff also receives 5 stars! I recommend Atlantic Animal Clinic to everyone I know in this area.

Not happy anymore! He was very rough with my dog, grabbing her by the collar and flipping her around very roughly. My cats also got loose, and they are very docile cats, they will come if you call their name, he came out after he caught one holding his hand over his face grabbing him by the head, which there was ABSOLUTELY NO REASON FOR! I get him home and he was acting funny, (all he went to the vet for was a microchip) so I couldn’t understand why he was not acting right. Well come to find out his tail is bent and he won’t put it up in the air., and it’s swollen around the bent part..... I think he broke or fractured his tail. I’m afraid to confront him about it and bring him back!! So I will see how he does and take him elsewhere.! I never liked how rough he was with them in front of me... can you imagine if I’m not there??!! NO THANK YOU!!!
Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Compared to other vets this place doesn’t seen very thorough or competent.

He has helped me with 9 different animals (including a chinchilla) as long as I lived here.. He is compassionate and he helps educate you on anything you need to know about animals.. I highly recommend this veterinarian! he is very knowledgeable and caring!

Dr. Bruce Bierbaum is an amazing veterinarian. Im not only saying this because he is a part of my family, but because he genuinely loves animals and has a passion for his job. He takes the time to explain things in laymans terms to clients about the diagnosis of each animal during office called visits. He also stops whatever he is doing to answer any questions after hours through our answering service. While sitting at dinner he will step aside and immediately call back clients in need of answers or help. Words cannot express how much he truly cares for the well-being of everyones pets. We love you Dr. B!

I am only giving this place 1 star because 0 stars is not available. I brought my bird here this morning for a simple nail trim and wing clip. After waiting in a room for 30 minutes, the veterinarian finally came in. But he clipped my cockatiel like Freddie Kruger. Helen Keller could have done a better job (and Im not trying to be funny, I am truly serious)! He only clipped one wing and said that is standard. ?? Then he trimmed one nail so incredibly short that she bled so badly it wouldnt stop for several minutes. His quick clot was dried up and he had to send a tech to go find more in another room while my bird continued to bleed. I am thankful he chose to skip the rest of her nails because I was prepared to tell him not to do them. I explained my dissatisfaction and ultimately was not charged. However, free visit or not is irrelevant!! The service was completely unacceptable!! Furthermore, when I got home, my bird took off in full flight with lift. Please do yourself a favor and DO NO TAKE YOUR PETS HERE. Atleast not your birds! This vet does not know the first thing about aviary needs and should NOT be claiming to be a medical expert in bird care!!
