Great place! Honestly the best experience I’ve had at a dental office.

The blonde middle age woman dental assistant is the most unprofessional and rude healthcare worker I have ever encountered. First few times I put up with it, second to last I brought it up and she apologized saying she had eaten chocolate that morning and might be hyper? Last time she continued to be extremely rude and unprofessional so I walked out. The dentist himself was always professional and kind, but I’ll never return their because of her and I’m sure I’m not the only one.

It’s terrible that no one ever answers the phone ... literally never unless it seems to be beneficial to them .. you take your phone off and patients can’t even leave a damn message this is by far the worst dental practice in Jeannette

Never made it back to see the dentist, the first person I met was a rude older lady, and she was the receptionist. And she was more interested in what was on her cell phone than doing her job. If they don’t need the business I understand but don’t waste people’s time by scheduling then have the receptionist treat you like garbage. If she doesn’t like her job she should quit. Worst experience I’ve ever had in a long time.

If I could give zero stars I would. Went there for a bad tooth, they decided to put a filling in a different one. They re-did it twice while I was there, and the woman doing it was getting upset with ME, like I was doing it. Then, a week later it fell out. So then I had the original bad tooth with a giant hole in it AND this hole drilled in my other tooth, which I got checked later and was told they drilled away so much I probably will need an entire new tooth put it. So thank you so frickin much for that. Then, one of the receptionists called me to see when I would like to come back for more dental work, and acted huffy because I told her I would never be coming there again and the reasons why. Do not recommend coming here even for a check up.

They tried to take all of my old fillings out and told me I had 13 cavities.. they gave me a shot and I knew something was wrong so I got up and left. Later found out at a new dentist I had NO CAVITIES and you are not supposed to take out the old fillings, it doesnt help enough that the equipment is from the 70s. NEVER COME HERE

I only gave them 1 star because I had to. The most unprofessional place ever. Cant even get a person on the phone because they are at lunch all day everyday.

I went to get my wisdom teeth out and the lady’s that were working were rude. The dr was nice. Went back for a follow up appointment and the lady and gentleman that were looking at my teeth were super nice. I will not go back there though because of the people that were rude when I was getting my wisdom teeth out

I cant really understand the bad reviews. Im extremely afraid of the dentist and this office was fantastic with me. I had all my teeth removed except for seven, I hardly had any pain after the procedure. The whole office have been really nice and polite. This process has been extremely smooth for me, Im so glad that I came to this office and let them do the work that needed to be done. Thank you Mr.Wolf ( both father and son) for making this process easy as possible for me and for the new wonderful smile I have. I highly recommend this office for any dental work you need.

I had to have a new upper denture and they did a AMAZING JOB The wait was well worth it it fits like a glove no rub marks ulcers not one problem and they were sll very friendly and professionnal.I would reccomend them to everyone and i do.THANK YOU NOVA DENTAL!!!

I’ve been in pain for a long time, had no insurance until recently. Needwork done and s major concern was a broken molar that’s been crippling and painful and made life miserable everyday for me. I called on my day off. They were able to get me in the same day a few hours after calling. I saw older reviews and was worried but when I spoke on the phone and came in person I was treated kindly and respectfully. They were very professional and attentive all the way around. They got my paperwork done fast and had me in the chair after xrays in good time. I felt no judgement nor discomfort. They explained what was being done and explained options and took good care of me. I was shocked at how fast and effortless my tooth was pulled and before I realized it we were done. I would recommend anyone here and as a first time patient I will definitely return. Thanks guys! You have no idea how much pain and misery and headaches you rid me of. I can actually play with my son and not be in bed hurting and rolling around screaming. I cannot express how much something that may seem so simple has improved my daily life.

I have been going to this office from June until December of 2014 I had all of my teeth removed and new dentures made to completion. Although it seemed to take a lot of time from beginning to end, Im more than satisfied with the final results. Dr Zatman was always very nice and if you need an oral surgeon theres none better than Dr Julius.The dental assistant Paula took a lot of extra care in making sure that my new dentures fit perfectly and it showed in the end result. The extra time it took was well worth it. While it may not be the fanciest dental practice anywhere, in the end I would highly recommend their services. They certainly did great by me.

Just went there today and I am more than happy with them Just so everyone knows, Dr. Joshua Wascowitz has bout the entire practice and he us awesome! Staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They always are to me. Dr. Josh is who I originally saw at their practice in West Newton and he always was great! Then he left to go back to school but at the time I didnt know what for until today. He went back to get his specialized in sedation dentistry. So now he came back and bought them out and can do everything. He is a very friendly and knowledgeable dentist and I dont know about these other negative reviews but I was always more than happywith the work that they did even before. I just decided to put up this review to let any others no I would recommend them highly and even if for some reason you were not happy with them before that now it is completely owned by Dr. Joshua Wascowitz and I would recommend them!

If I could leave a review with negative 5 stars that’s what I would do, Nova Dental is a complete joke. They do not care about your heath they simply care about the money. I’ve had to get a root canal because one of their dentist filled a cavity of mine and left some there, must’ve wanted me to come back and spend more money!!! Then they proceeded to tell me my insurance would pay for whatever I needed done.. but in the end billed me for $500 and had no simpathy because it was their fault they billed my insurance late. And whenever I called there they had a disrespectful woman who did nothing but try to get me to call my insurance company and wouldn’t even talk the issue over with me. If this is the only place your insurance accepts you’re better off going somewhere and paying fully out of pocket because this is exactly what they will do to you. They need shut down. Or managed by somebody who actually cares about their career, their customer service, and how they provide service to money spending patients!!!

This Nove Dental, not only is filled with rude middle age women, but also lack on the personality and professionalism from the dental side. Their office is dirty , and a miserable environment. Just like everyone who is employeed there. I would never recommend anyone to this place.

I went to nova to get out a wisdom tooth that was hurting me really bad. They said I would have to wait 3 months for said procedure and proceeded to do fillings instead. I had to go back 3 separate times to have them fix the filling because there were lumps and they did not put enough filling on my one tooth to the point that there was pain and I could feel how far in the tooth was now going. The woman who did my filling insisted that it was just a cusp which it was not because she did not properly fill my tooth Im now having to go to the dentist (a different one of course!) For a root canal tomorrow. My experience with nova was so bad that when this new dentist told me I had to have a root canal done I ended up bawling cuz of the fact Im so frightened that the same thing will happen again. Please just take my advice and DONT GO HERE

My miserable experience with this dental office was several years ago. Hopefuly they have new staff and have improved. It just reminds me that when you buy an individual dental policy that you are at the mercy of very limited subpar providers. My family had been patients for two years (including two root canals by a Russian woman dentist there) when I had an excrutiating tooth infection and they said they could see me in 3 days, did not prescribe pain medicine or an antibiotic despite my calling them 3 times, I decided to walk into another dental office near my work and they popped the infection which was full of pus, and they also were in disbelief about the Nova wanting me to wait for 3 days, and gave me the antibiotic and pain med, and I immediately felt relief. When I went for the followup at Nova for my scheduled appointment, (I had taken off work) the woman at the front desk said they refused to see me for my appointment because they did not like me calling them for pain med and asking to be seen earlier. I told them their lack of concern for my well-being as their patient and the possiblity of developoing endocarditis was what was concerning. She got the head dentist (I see his picture is still here) and they said they were going to call the police. My husband asked for my records and we left. My husband, who is an attorney, told me that would be a picture for the paper if one of the police in town that he knew came there -- mother of four children with tooth infection hauled out of Nova dental by police. Needless to say, I would be leary of this dental practice and cringe when I drive by and see their sorry looking office. Uncaring and unprofessional sums it up.

This dentist is absolutely horrible. I have never in my life dealt with such ignorant people. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
