Better than most!

My nephew has been in senior care for eight years. The staff and administration use to be very good but now they have had a total turn over administrator and most if nurses and aids. And things are bad. My nephew which has only use of his left hand and in wheel chair was found in parking lot . He cannot open door by himself, he HATES it outside. They said he was trying to run away ??? Then they started writing him up on anything innocent or not so they could

I went to Senior Care of Jacksonville to have physical therapy and recuperate from surgery. The physical therapy department was amazing. Sheri, Staci, Teri, Shay, Jenny, FeFe, and Ericka helped me to gain my strength, confidence, and mobility so that I could return home without fear. I truly appreciate them all. The nursing staff was wonderful. Alice, Dawn, Michael, Robert Z, and Anita thank you all. (If I missed anyone I am so sorry). They made sure my surgical wounds were cleaned and dressed daily and that I received all the correct medications on time. Ray Richard was a great social worker. He went above and beyond to help me to be able to return home, safely, with all the equipment I needed. The administrator, Cheryl, was so caring and genuinely nice. The hair stylist did a fantastic job on my hair. All of the CNAs (caregivers) were amazing. They never had to be be asked twice to assist me with anything I needed. They, usually, did everything without having to be asked even once.The ONLY complaint that I would think about voicing would be regarding the food service. The food was bland and literally had no taste. I understand that there are different diets and restrictions, but there are ways of cooking and adding flavor to food.I would, definitely, recommend Senior Care to anyone that I know.Thank you all again for assisting me to return home and regain my life.

I needed physical therapy and medical attention after ankle surgery and emergency hernia surgery. The Nurses, Doctor, Physical Therapy department, CNAs, Administrator, Beautician, and residents were so wonderful to me. They took care of all my needs. They made me feel welcome and safe. This is a very nice place if family members need extra care or for physical therapy to go home.The only negative issue I found was the food. It was aweful. I understand nutrition is very important..the food had no taste and was not served in an appetizing manner.

Upper management is very unfair and do not treat their cna right, when the cnas keep the nursing home going. Its been going down since Katy left 😢
