I am just finishing up a very good Christmas dinner here at the USO in Jacksonville, North Carolina. The food was tasty, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the volunteers were top-notch. I have always been pleased and felt welcomed whenever I have come here. Although I am geographically alone in this time of year, it felt nice to be welcomed along with my brothers and sisters at arms by the kind volunteers who are willing to give up time with their family on this most special of holidays to be able to give back to those who serve. I want to thank the volunteers and people who donate to the success of the USO for all of the caring thoughts and actions. I wish them all and their families very merry Christmas.

Super friendly and helpful staff for active duty military and their families who might need a little help or just want a place to hang out.

Loved that place in 1975. Used to listen to the Best of Bread 8-track in one of the rooms and write letters home. Watched the 75 World Series there too.

Absolutely the best way to get plugged into your local community. Active Duty, this is a huge resource.

Love this place! Everyone there is so inviting and their hearts are in the right place! Willing to bend over backwards to help anyone and it makes such a difference!

The USO is a great piece of history that is still actively in use by our service members, families, and community supporters. I have attended many events at the Jacksonville USO during the past 28 years, to include meetings, classes, meals, and live shows and I have always been welcomed and appreciated.
