I would have left zero stars, but could not. I called this office to speak with Dr Nabizadeh. I spent 25 minutes on hold and was never able to speak with him. I am a licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Florida and my mother has been suffering for 8 weeks with pain that could be helped by Physical Therapy. I do not live in Florida anymore which means I cannot treat her. I was calling to ask Dr Nabizadeh as a professional courtesy to write her a script for PT since she and my father have been seeing him for over a decade. According to his office assistant, he refused to speak to me because I was not on her HIPPA form. So she continues to suffer. Fortunately, there are more doctors in Jacksonville. Common sense clearly is no longer common.

Dr N is one of the best doctors out there. He spends the time he needs to with each patient weather that is 15 minutes or 2 hours. Yes just like all the other reviews you do have a long wait time on the day of your appointment but he will spend just as much time with you as he does all of his patience. He does his own testing and goes over it with you in a way you can understand and will even review your other doctors tests if you ask and will give you his take on them. He and his office staff are outstanding.

I will not stray from what everyone has said, I would ensure you come prepared to wait – maybe bring your own cross word puzzle, a book, or something to do to pass the time. If your appointment is anything after 9am, and even then you wait; however, anything after 9am I have waited for 1-2 hours before; HOWEVER, in the same breathe let me say you will get frustrated (and I wouldn’t make any plans honestly if your appointment is in the AM until after 12pm or 1pm because you wouldn’t make them…but when you get in there and he begins to talk to you – that is the moment you will understand why even with all the waiting his entire waiting room is always constantly full. He will do anything for his patients to make them feel comfortable and be in as little to as close to no pain as possible. You will not leave his office wondering “what is wrong with me” – because the atmosphere is so inviting and comfortable – you will want and feel like you can ask questions about whatever is going on with you. It is interesting, I used to work for an insurance company and a new patient visit the doctors normally bill like $450.00 and we would allow roughly 80% of their allowance, and they probably didn’t even spend more than 5-10 minutes with the patient. He truly deserves every single bit and more of his allowances. I had doctors for YEARS tell me it is just headaches and it is all psychosomatic (more or less it was all in my head)- until my primary care at the time referred me to see Dr. Nabizadeh, and he worked at it relentlessly checking everything until he found out I had a brain condition that if not treated I could have gone blind; however, I had 11 different doctors – 4 of them being neurologist tell me I was perfectly fine! He joking asked me the other day “What are you going to do when I retire” – I haven’t stopped thinking about that question since that visit from two months ago. He is one of those doctors you just do not find any more these days. It is one thing to care for your patients, but another to ensure they are taken care of and cared for!! Thank you Dr. Nabizadeh…… you have been the best blessing I could have ever prayed for!

I dont care if I have to wait. Hes the best neuro out there and will spend as much time with you as needed, so that you know and understand what is going on with you. Been seeing him for over 3 years and I would highly recommend him. Its important to note that you can CALL and ask how far behind he is running, and then show up later than scheduled so you dont wait. They even call me and let me know hes 2 hours behind so I can show up 2 hours after my scheduled time. Love this doctor. He is amazing and caring. So glad I was referred to him.

Dr. N is an amazing individual... You will wait at you appointment, but know it is because he spends all the time you need for your appointment... most Dr.s offices you spend more time with the nurse than you do with the Dr, not here... This man cares about you and your condition.Keep up the good work and thank you for being such an amazing Dr. who cares.Would have given 100 stars if it let me :)

Dr. Nabezadeh Is the best. Yes you may have to wait but when it is your time he does not rush you in and out. Bring a book. Practice patienceI have been to practices where I felt as though I were on a production line spit out at the end. Not here.I believe his medical background/knowledge is well rounded and extensive. He has been able to recommend other excellent professionals. He is aware, engaged and attentive concerning other health issues I have also (cancer being just one)He is a kind soul with good family values (besides his practice hes a caregiver for his father). Obviously I admire and trust him.Beware: He does not suffer fools.

Our family loves him. He loves working with the patient and not hiding behind a scapel. He is a very giving Doctor even with items that are not about health but family problems that dont concern him and to his own detrement, which to me earns a spot in his heaven. He seems VERY stressed right now. Not knowing why, the only thing I can think of is his giving $ to people, out of his kindness of his beautiful heart or not being able to collect his money properly for his business. We can help him with this by: 1) If we understand why he runs late dont complain. 2) even though his past front desk did know what to collect ... we still have to pay and need to do the best we can to get him paid back. But they need to understand that they need to share in that responsibility of the error and not make a payment plan for the disabled, that have a limited budget, that they will never be able to reasonably meet. We will go to them till they not allow us to anymore.

Yes, you will have to wait. Sometimes longer than others. Its because Dr. N does everything ... He does his own tests, exams, procedures, everything. Everything about him is different than a typical Dr..... Thats what makes him a fantastic one. Docs like him are hard to come by nowadays, especially if you have hard to diagnose condition. Dr. N wont stop till he figures it out!

Dr. Nabezadeh is the best Doctor I have ever had. Yes you wait in his office for a while but that is because he fully takes care of each and every one of his patient. He goes through test result with you MRI, X-rays, CT scan and makes sure you completely understand what is going on and how you are progressing. Dr. Nabezadeh truly is carrying and kind and shows it through his outstanding work. He literally saved my life when others Doctors failed. I would recommend him without a doubt and I do recommend him A LOT!

Dr. Nabizadeh is to me the best in his field of work and study. He does his own tests and listens to his patients. He also takes the time out to go over each test, mri, X-ray, etc... With you. I have since moved to Tennessee but cant find a neurologist that even comes close to his experience and expertise.. If youre in the area or not and been referred to a neurosurgeon or neurologist, this is where you want to be. I just got into a sevier car accident and have been referred to a neurologist in the area where I live and also a neurosurgeon but dont trust anyone but Dr. Arastroo Nabizadeh to even look at my spine.. This man has the experience and I trust him. God bless this man and his wife who works right along side him everyday. He also goes to each of the hospitals and checks on his patients.. I would give him 100 stars if I could. Roland king.

I really dont understand how a few of you are saying hes the worst doctor because you had to wait to be seen. I have been his patient (my mother is a patient as well) for almost four years now. Prior to him, I refused to see a neurologist because they never listened to anything I had to say and put me on antidepressants. I have had migraines since I was five years old. The antidepressants had an adverse effect on me and caused me to have suicidal thoughts. I took myself off the meds and never looked back. I felt the pain increasing around 2010 and no OTC med worked. I started to go to to Solantic right down the street from my house. The nurse practitioner would give me shots for the pain but her hands were tied at a clinic like that. But she told me that she thought I should really check out this particular neurologist. Knowing how I felt, it was a hard sell, but my mother needed to be be seen too. No other doctors could seem to find anything wrong with her either. I forgot to mention a VERY important detail that other doctors said I was having a bad dream IN THE MIDDLE OF CRACKER BARREL! My brother was handicap with cerebral palsy and I just happened to be having breakfast with my father and out of nowhere I had a gran mal seizure. But, I didnt understand why, I didnt see it, I felt fine. My dad on the other hand, didnt handle it so well. The attention at the hospital shifted to him.Almost two years later was when I was referred to Dr. Nabazadeh. Mom went in the day before I did and was diagnosed with MS. I went in the next day with my son (who was 14 at the time) and when it was my turn, as others have stated already, he was VERY thorough and very detailed when he was going over my MRI with me. I was shocked, dumbfounded, tears started to roll down my face, but I knew my son was out waiting for me, and I sorta took on a numb thats not me attitude. I have a brain tumor on my left frontal lobe. It sits in a very dangerous spot. He mustve seen the look on my face because he stopped talking and asked me how I was handling this... I said I was ok. The white elephant in the room was is this cancer? He said no but judging by the size of the tumor its been growing for 11 years ..I have been through hell! Not because of him but because of a screw up of a neurosurgeon who performed the gamma knife radiation surgery on me. My tumor was too big and way too much radiation was beamed into my brain .Three months later I was rushed to the hospital and admitted to the stroke unit. I live with epilepsy (never did before) the migraine pain so much worse due to extensive brain damage.I could never go to another neurologist. He has to have thousands of patients, but he is very personable. He knows just by my body language if Im having an off day. He knows me and my mother without hesitation. Most doctors forget you as soon as you walk out of the door. He never looks at a clock when you are in his office. He is a blessing in my life! Hes a very giving man.. yes, I know when I have an appointment with him, I dont make plans on those days. Its worth it! And for those of you who are bitching about him and his staff having no compassion, you mustve done or said something offensive because theyre the most compassionate people youre ever going to get! If you feel its not worth the wait, I can only conclude that you really dont need his services that bad in the first place. Theres a reason hes so backed up! I have talked to people in the waiting room who drive in from Georgia just to see him! Sounds to me like Dr. Nabizadeh and his staff could school you on how to show compassion for other people.Alison Heimgartner

Jacksonville Fl has the Top ranked medical doctors and surgeons. When a Neurologist neurophysiologist takes the time to sit with the patient and review the MRI CT scans, independent of any report, explaining every detail, what the outcomes are, what the next step is needed, and if any surgery is needed, then Dr Nabedazeah will refer you to the Best Surgeon, or Specialist regarding your conditions.COVID safety is in full forceTallahassee Fla simply stated, has not caught up to the best in care.Every Test done by Dr Nabedazeah is a Gold Standard Test.Dr N and the entire staff are compassionate, caring, and take the much needed time to listen.Dr N has found so much going on with me, that NO Neuro did in Tallahassee. Dr N reads All the CT, MRI scans and shows you level by level, facet, nerves etc that no one else does.He Cares, Wanda Cares and everyone Cares there.Ive met others that have been seeing him for 35 years. He is the Best Top 5 in the USA and his expertise in the neurology field are far beyond his title of Neurological NeurophysiologicIts a blessing to have an Amazing Care Team ☺

He acts like he cares. But honestly he doesnt do anything to help you. You tell him the medications he has you prescribed on are not helping you. And he will not do anything to try to make it better. Wasted of time to wait to be seen. About a 3 to 4 hour waiting period just to be seen. Waste of money and time.
