I can not say enough good things about the people who work here. The compassion and care that the staff showed for not only their patient, but our family was unbelievable. Someone said to us there are angels in this building how right they were. My prayer for the care givers at Hospice is that you know how important what you do is and how appreciated you are. My dad was just brought here Friday. And this was the best experience for our family. We had such loving and caring staff take care of my dad and us. My dad passed today and all the nurses and staff was so compassionate. They showered us with affection and kind words. God bless you all and thank you for being able to do what you do. I am so thankful for this place.

Worked for Earl B. Hadlow back in the late 90,s.Wonderful place and patients are well looked after and loved are given grief counseling with family .Peaceful care.Now I hope to join them as a patient soon. See you all soon. God is still alive and working on me. Blessings in Jesus Name.

I believe other departments within CHPC is better managed however, the admissions department is terrible. There is lack of leadership amongst managers and more people who want to Be bosses. Admissions expectations are nearly impossible, you’re over worked, underpaid, and severely micromanaged like you’re a 3 year old. I have experience in other admission departments amongst other companies and Community Hospice admissions is by far the worst I have ever seen. They run all of their staff away which they have no room for. They can’t schedule same day appointments often times because the nurses leave, get laid off and they just can’t keep anyone. The manager does not speak up for her team because of personal security. I would advise to work at another hospice company in Duval county. 😇

Complex Care for Brain Tumor Patients need better oversight and follow up. It is difficult to find out if orders are being followed at a separate long term care facility. There is no way to be sure the right medications are administered in the correct dosage. Some nurses are excellent others, clock out at 5 irregardless of an emergency. My husbands seizures were uncontrolled. Follow up needs improvement.

Terrible customer service. Im just trying to get my moms medical records & all Im getting is the run around. No one has any information they just transfer me to someone else.
