#1--I could never get to talk with anyone via phone without a 20-min.waiting period. #2--The machine began causing extreme congestion; affecting comfortable breathing. I attempted to use it 4-hrs. each night and did succeed a few nights, but the number of nights I experienced discomfort were becoming more. I made sure to keep it clean on a daily basis, since I was experiencing a constant cough. I have been diagnosed to suffer with the sleeping problem, but Ive gotta find another method.

Do i have the wrong company? I swear my treatment by AHP has been completely different from other comments here. I always get an answer in mere moments when i call, typically from work. I dont even log out of my station to go place my order. It does take like 3 days for supplies, but i just order them before i need them. If you wait until the last minute its not the companies fault they dont overnight. That said, i did put off ordering once and i mentioned it in passing when i called, expecting to have to wait, and it WAS overnighted. Got it the next day via UPS. I paid no extra for this service. Maybe if youre not a rude demanding person they treat you better? I dont know.....

Know what youre getting into if you have to use them. Their copay quote was off (too low) by 600% from Medicare coverage! I got a cpap with a broken humidifier, and they didnt believe me. It took over a month to get it replaced. To their credit, when I got incorrect supplies, it was easy to return and exchange via post. But if you have to go to or contact their facility for anything, expect delays, the run-around, then getting hit in the pocket (unless you have an advantage plan).

I have been with American Home Patient for about two years now and they bill with Care Centrix. Care centrix billed my insurance company incorrectly and I have been trying to get it straightened out for over a year and a half now. Care Centrix has the rudest, most unprofessional people working with them that I have ever experienced. I have tried to go through American Home Patient to get the issue resolved but I have had no luck. American Home Patient called Care Centrix about my issue and called me back and told me Care Centrix is correct and Im wrong. Be aware before you use American Home Patient because I can guarantee Care Centrix will mess up your billing. Now I do have a secondary insurance so if you only have single insurance coverage you may be o.k. but if you have any problems, Care Centrix is very difficult to deal with, they owe me over two hundred dollars and I am about to give up trying to get it back!!! That is how bad they are!!

Rude, never answer the phone, dont send supplies, worst CPAP supply company Ive ever had and Ive moved all over the country. RUN dont walk to any other supplier bar none.

I will concur with the very poor ratings of this company. My mom had stat orders for a nebulizer that she only received 3 business days after the orders were sent to them. This included just under a dozen calls from me during this period and being promised on day 2 that they would have the equipment to my that day. Come to find out, even though I called many times, they never once called the physician who wrote the order and just faxed their office without ever following up. The customer service person I spoke could have walked in off the street and started working and the supervisor I asked to speak to was more competent, but still had to refer me to their supervisor. I tried calling corporate, but no one from there ever returned my call either. I would look at other companies if you need breathing supplies. Who wants to wait 3 business days or more for critical supplies? Shame on you!

Cannot get anyone to call back so oxygen can get picked up - tried several times last two days being told someone will contact you - nope not even once - their excuse they were bought by another company - poor performance always has excuses - feel sorry for Lincare that bought them.
