Was here for a Porsche Club of America function. Beautiful place. Served us a very nice breakfast buffet. Employees were all very nice and competent. Did not golf but I did check out the course and it seemed well groomed. Thought they might have placed some membership info out but I didnt see any and they didnt seem to have anyone there to answer questions.

Lovely facility. Enjoyed playing a match here. The shop has a great selection of women and men’s tennis clothing. The staff was very nice.

We celebrated mothers day at the club. I was excited to have lunch there but food was cold and dry. My drink (margarita) wasnt good either. For $40 per person I was expecting much more. Totally disappointed.

Grounds are superb, staff is delightful, drinks are strong.

Lived here for 15 years. MOST of the staff is nice, the few who weren’t were really over the top disrespectful. The residents are horrible, conceited rich people with a complete disregard for compassion towards people they “perceive” to be “lower” than their elite status.

We take care of the main pool here, and boy do these guys care. It is truly a pleasure to work with people who just want their pool running right at all times. This leads me to believe that they are this passionate about the entire facility. The management staff is always a pleasure to work with. We also take care of many residential pools in the neighborhood, always beautiful properties. Just a nice place with lots of Jacksonville heritage.

Excellent tennis facility. They host the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation Mens Doubles Tennis Tournament and do a wonderful job! Great family entertainment. This years tournament is May 16 thru 18. Enjoy!

I went to pick a friend up around 11:30 at night from her friends house in the country club. She had no way of getting home, so I agreed to pick her up. However, when I got to the gate, even though the owner of the home personally called and said to let me through, the security woman insisted that I was on a Do not let in list of some sort. The woman never checked my ID, she never checked my car tags. She didnt even tell me this personally. My friend had to call me back and tell me. Now heres the funny thing,Ive never been to this country club :)At least not in the past ten years since I MAY have gone there as a CHILD for a birthday party. I have never driven to the country club at all before. The security woman even asked if my name was Kayla Mackenzie to which I replied no, and responded with my actual name. It didnt matter, she would not let me through. I wasted about 30 minutes at that gate and my friend had to go though the gate to me so she could get home. This whole situation was absurd and ridiculous. I called a manager this morning but was not able to reach one so I left a message. I would love to know the reason why I was detained :) I hope its not a racial issue since I am a (mostly) white-passing American Indian/White mix, so I do have some dark features. I sincerely hope this was not a racial issue. I am already very sad that this has happened, and you can guarantee that I will NEVER have anything to do with this country club in the future, nor will i recommend it to anyone I know.

I have lived in JG&CC now for three years and enjoy every day. The amenities are wonderful. The golf course is immaculate and challenging. The pool, tennis courts and kids playground are great Our member socials, brunches and other club activities keep me busy and I am always meeting new friends. The club house and staff are unmatched in Jacksonville. I love my gated access, my friendly neighbors, quiet neighborhood and lake side living. No place better in Jacksonville.

What a great community! They easily have the best condition golf course in Jacksonville besides maybe the two top dogs - Plantation and Pablo Creek. Its reasonably priced to become a member and you wont be disappointed. Every Friday they have great bands, and being a young member I have met dozens of others my age. Ive been a member at several clubs and none of them have been nearly as fun as JGCC. The best country club in Jacksonville!

Lived here for 13 years. One of the best days of my life was the day I drove out of there for the last time. A few nice people, but by and large the biggest concentration of self-absorbed pretentious individuals Ive ever seen -- and I once lived in Miami! The club management is well practiced in separating people from their money without providing commensurate value.Staff will say whatever they need to say to deflect complaints, but really have no interest in resolving anything.

Beautiful residential community that is close to the beach. Amenities include a golf course, clay tennis court and pools that are all kept in great condition. This community really is top notch.

We attended a wedding here this past Saturday. The food was amazing and the staff was as well. Great experience had by all.

My wife and I joined as Young Executives under the 6 month trial membership. We knew immediately that we would become full members. The clubs membership is so welcoming to new members and guests. I can find a competitive golf match any day of the week. The course is immaculate in the heat of summer and dead of winter. Clubhouse staff and food are second to none. This is where we go to have a great time, meet new folks, and get outdoors. Cant imagine a better value for membership at any other club in Jax. We love it and were here to stay.

Food was mediocre and pricey. My salmon salad was small and fish looked like it had been previously cooked and heated up. Desserts were not good either.

Recently I wrote an unsatisfactory and uncomplimentary review about the JAX Golf. I must apologize, as the rebuke was intended for the St Johns Golf & Country Club. Again I apologize for my error. Each time I have been invited ti JAX Golf- it has been a wonderful experience.

I have been here a couple times for weddings and events, and it is probably the nicest country club on this side of town. I cant comment on the golf course but the facilities are top notch, excellent location if you are looking to host a party.

Very beautiful. And the Patrol officer Will Cecil does an EXCELLENT job keeping the area clean and crime free. Very great security detail.

Great track... nice staff..I have played it a few times and enjoyed it.I just find it cheesy at best that they will host a Juniors tournament on a slow monday... but no practice rounds aloud unless you are a memeber.... really? . I get the members thing .... but dont host the tourney if your not going to allow a practice round. I know they allow practice rounds for college tourneys out here... but not for juniors and H.S. kids?

Rudest rich people I’ve met thus far or common sense just doesn’t exist. I work for Instacart and I was making a delivery when my car ran out of gas right near a Turner Pest Control truck on the opposite side of the road. SMH! Silly me... I thought I could make but undestimated how much fuel I really had left. People were passing by giving me mean looks while shaking their head and cursing ( I couldn’t hear but I can read lips). They were able to get through both vehicles but common sense why with the angry mean face and body language? Did you not notice the “hazard lights” flashing on my car. I CANT MOVE!!!! Thank God someone was nice enough to help me get on my way and it was a worker there on the premises. You can tell he was even nervous for me as he explained to the owner of the house where part of my fender was blocking her driveway that we would done soon. He even agreed how rude the residents that live there on the premises are. If money changes me to be mean and rude to look down on people then I don’t want it! Donations to charity mean nothing if your heart would allow you to act in such a mean way. I’m glad we have one God and one Heaven. Heartless people!

A real Jem. One of the best courses in North Florida

The only complaint I have is the guard shack lady was yelling at me for being 5 minutes early. I work construction and arrived at the gate at 7:25 and this little old Hispanic lady yelled for something so petty as being 5 minutes early. I think if youre gonna be greeting people who come into this place you shouldnt be so rude!

The food, grounds, atmosphere, and most of all the people at JGCC is what keeps us here! We have owned 2 homes in Jgcc over the past 18 years and wouldnt have dreamed of living anywhere else. Our 3 children have grown up here and are still enjoying the safe and fun neighborhood. There is always something fun planned up at the club house and even when there isnt an event we love to eat up there at least 3 times per week because it is so delicious!

I have lived her for 14 years. My boys were 1 and 5 when we first moved here. I can not imagine living anywhere else. The golf course is one of the best in Jax. The tennis staff and facility is the best in Jax. The staff is friendly and always accommodating. We also do have wonderful ladies nights. The other night we had painting with a twist which filled up in 5 minutes. I cant wait to see what is planned for next months ladies night. Love this place that my family calls home! I live inside the community. Best club in Jax!

I have enjoyed every moment of the last 2.5 years in Jacksonville because of my membership at JGCC. As a transplant to Florida from Arizona, I was concerned that my husband and I would have difficulty finding a safe, centrally located community with top notch amenities. Upon entering The Club, I knew we had found our home (then, it was a matter of finding a place to live). Here is a rundown of what makes JGCC so great:Pros -- Sense of Community: It felt like we had only been in Jax for a month and we already had an entourage of friends. Everyone we met was friendly, engaging, and looking for fun.- Events: The calendar is jam-packed with social events. Whether it is a BBQ on the lawn, a family pool party, or just a week night happy hour, the club is always abuzz and a guaranteed great time.- Childcare: I use Kids Clubhouse several times a week to work out or grab dinner with friends. Miss Francis and the other staff are loving and trustworthy and I feel 100% confident when my son is in their care.- Golf: Impeccably maintained course with many competitive events. Wish we could get out more!- Fitness: My favorite thing is that each machine has its own television. Also, you can schedule a massage or facial right at the club.- Tennis: 10 (I think) clay tennis courts and a plethora of incredible themed events. Bill Gist knows how to throw a party and run a tennis program.Cons-- The club is closed on Mondays.I could go on and on about how JGCC has positively impacted my life in Jacksonville. The staff and club as a whole continue to exceed expectations every day.
