Best kept secret in West Jacksonville!!If you are into spending money to work out with the beautiful people and drink green tea power shakes then this isnt the place.for you. However, if you want to get a simple workout using fairly modern machines and be about your way, then you struck gold.

They hosted the seniorOlympics and were very nice to let us use the bathroom and give us ice to cool our waterbottles

Great Atmosphere and the clerks up front been there for years.

Its Great. Its so overlooked and its huge from when the military base was there. You have a big, huge locker room with a working sauna and showers,. An ice machine that you can fill a cooler with. The workout area has enough space and its got the old school nautilus and stuff. A full track is not but a block away. Plenty of cardio. An aquatic center down the road. Cheap membership. Give it a shot.

Best gym around! Ive used this gym non stop since we moved here 2 months ago and I couldnt ask for better. Its not a fancy place with all the bells and whistles but thats the best part. Its an old school military no BS kind of place. Between the basketball court, the gym and the cardiovascular equipment, it has everything you actually need.

Older facility, but for the price its great for basketball, racquetball, and working out.

Its a great old fashioned gym with steel free weights, racquetball courts, basketball courts, cardio equipment, and customer service is always great.

This place is cool if you are looking for a variety of work equipment and it has a sauna if you really want to get your sweat on. The only thing I dont like is there is NO HOT WATER to wash your hand...really and a few other things that the ladies locker room needs to have

I mean for what it is, its okay, very small, not a lot of equipment, but very low key and quiet. Very nice staff, hard to find such welcoming people these days.

Been goin to that gym since the base closed, never had any problems, the best part is that its only $2 to enter the facility and do whatever you desires, no paper work, no hassle, the staff are very friendly and courteous and helpful. The facility maybe old but is very well cleaned, and the weight room have been renovated. The showers are good, and hot saunda is good also. Whoever is near or close to Cecil Field should workout there instead of going miles out to different gyms and its only $2! Check it out =)

Nice gym for basketball in a little bit of working out but the people at the front desk always have an attitude. Shape up or just find a new job man

My go-to gym. Quiet, good machine selection and small cardio room. They have everything from free weights to Smith machines to lat pulldown machines, and the locker room is VERY clean

Who doesnt love a good gym right? $2 a day if youre not a member. Pretty affordable and very clean.

The reason I hate this place is because you get a real work out with that real iron dumbbells up to 150 lb all equipment is Arnold style and Mecca from California and Texas they would even break out the 200 if you ask me heavy bag speed bag 2 sauna rooms a stretching and yoga room basketball courts so LOL the reason I hate this place because you get the Hard Knock workout so dont come that lazy big dogs Rome here

I really havent used them yet but they allow me to walk to their facilities just to see what they offer and what they have

Very cheap to access all equipment that the military used after base shut down. Not crowded and its clean.

Looking forward to it being fully renovated.
