I have been to many salons I. The area and none compare to the atmosphere here. Hands down the most welcoming salon in the area. Doron gave me the perfect haircut! She did exactly what I wanted and even stayed later than closing to make sure I was happy! I left feeling great and with another appointment already!

I truly cannot talk more highly about Laura and my experience at wild olive salon in Jacksonville! I have never been to the same salon or stylist twice because I always explain how much hair I have and how long it takes and no matter how much I explain or even do consultations, no one takes me seriously and ends up getting impatient with my hair and never finishing the full service. NEVER have I had someone take the time to truly do my hair well and style it after - until Laura!!!Highlights of my time at the salon:- amazing front desk staff and super organized with appointments, confirmations, notes in their system, etc.- Laura not only did an AMAZING job on my hair, but truly educated me about my hair and how AVEDA’s products work and the benefits of using them- Laura truly went above and beyond and stayed over 3 and a half hours past closing to do my hair!! She kept thanking me for being so patient…I am truly so thankful for HER patience and treating my hair like a fun project versus making me uncomfortable for having so much hair like stylists have done to me at past salons- the salon is so cute and clean!!I cannot thank Laura and Wild Olive Salon enough for such an amazing experience! As long as I live near Jacksonville, I will never go anywhere else!For reference, I got a balayage, haircut with layers, (Laura went above and beyond and added color to areas that were not balayaged to make certain areas less brassy from a past balayage) keratin treatment, and style!

Having just moved to Jacksonville from a much more urban area, I was worried about finding a salon Id like like. Doron was very helpful in setting realistic expectations for what color we could get my hair to and discussed all details about pricing ahead of time. It seemed like everyone in the salon worked well together and supported one another, giving it a nice atmosphere. I would absolutely recommend Wild Olive and Doron to anyone in the area.

I also really appreciated that while she used several products over the course of cutting & styling my hair, she didn’t try to do the whole “selling you what works on your hair” schtick that so many salons try these days without any indication the client is looking for new daily use products. I am beyond amazed. The work before and after. I made an appointment here 2 weeks ago and was super excited to get my hair a vibrant color again. First impression was spot on from booking the appointment to reminders to arrival. Whats great is the lady that scheduled me asked the other stylists and made sure they would be able to accomplish the task.The place is well kept and a very relaxing and upscale feeling. Spent around 4 hours at the salon. My stylist Doron and my GFs stylist Ashley, were fantastic. The other stylist there assisted with Ashley and worked great together.Pricing was perfect for what I expected for Bleach and color. I would have rather used pup riot color but Aveda worked great.This kind of environment is just perfect for a salon where the stylists work together to keep people coming back.

This was my first time at this salon. I felt very welcomed. They were taking every precaution to make their customers feel safe. The location was easy to find. The shop was modern and very clean. My first experience went better than I expected. I have been to a few salons in the last 6 years since I relocated to the area. Although none of them really gave me that WOW factor I got used to just getting a trim and some color. When I was referred to Doron I scheduled and started searching a new style and decided I wanted a bang and Doron made it happen. I dont know why I didnt style my hair this way all along. I love it and the results are definitely over the top WOW. She recommended the products I would need and I love the products so much Ive thrown my others out. Doron was equally excited about the way my style turned out. She definitely is a hair artist and has a passion for her work. I also didnt feel rushed and she took the time to create the look with ease. I have long natural wavy hair and I went with the curtain bang and Doron added some more layers to frame my face. I have more movement in my hair and the bang looks great whether I wear my hair down or up. Kiera is amazing! I have had some really bad hair experiences in the past. However, I have never had someone take so much time to make sure I was comfortable and explained my haircut step-by-step. Even with knowing I was her last client of the day, she took her time and never made me feel like she was rushing. She listened to what I was wanting and gave me realistic advice based on my hair type. The whole vibe of the salon was warm and welcoming. I will DEFINITELY be back!

As a military spouse always moving, it is very difficult to find good salons. I am so sad that I stumbled upon this AWESOME salon a week before we move again. Mariah was AMAZING! Actually the whole staff was welcoming. Mariah was very personable and friendly and my hair color turned our PERFECT! I received so many compliments afterwards. 20/10 recommend this salon!

Doron is an Angel. She gave me the most beautiful color and cut I have ever had. I could not ask for a better stylist! New hair is the first pic and second was the before! Never has a stylist been able to cool the tones in my hair like this!

Horrible service, inexperienced stylist. Color ended up shades darker in the back of my hair because the stylist was so slow with applying color. Requested subtle balayage highlights. Not what I received. At all.

I called today and was lucky enough to find an available appointment on such short notice. This was my first time at this salon and it is such a nice comfortable space. I went to get my first hair cut in about 2 years and my stylist Fondahn did an amazing job! Seriously the best stylist I have ever been to. She understood that I didn’t want much hair cut off so she kept my layers long and I absolutely love it. She went above and beyond for my cut and spent a lot of the appointment on her knees because my hair was so long lol. I’ve never had anyone so dedicated to doing their best on a simple hair cut and I appreciate her hard work so much. The wash and blow dry were included in the service and she was super gentle with my hair. She is so nice and the best conversationalist! Looking forward to my next appointment with her and I could not recommend this place enough!!

There was a hair mishap that happened with I first visited the salon. Lisa reached back out to me to come in so she could fix it. And that she did! She did a beautiful job! I thought we would have to dye my hair brown due to the previous issue but she was able to get it to a beautiful red! Ill for sure be going back to see her again. Thanks Lisa!

Ashley is a genius with hair!! If you’re ever unsure about what you want but you want to change up your look, she gives you great advice, asks for your feedback before doing anything, and talks you through every step she does. Every time i see her, I think she can’t top her work from last visit but I leave the shop absolutely AMAZED! She takes my breath away every visit, I absolutely love her!!

I have to wonder if they listen 4.5 hours to turn my hair into a short Bob over 12 inches removed and went from blonde to grey. I will never use this salon again. My daughter 5.5 hours hair fried orange color only to spend 3 more hours getting the color fixed the absolute worse experience. Never again

I found my favorite salon! First time here and I had such a great experience! Haili was amazing. Loved her energy, loved her excitement. She listened to my wants and took that challenge to another level! She made me feel like my hair desires were absolutely a reality; and she was right! Also, a big thank you to her manager who took the time to assist Haili with my hair. They were both super fun working together, laid back and you could tell they were absolutely in their element. The salon is beautiful, clean and the staff all seemed extremely nice and professional. I cannot wait to see these ladies in just a few weeks for a touch up and consultation for extensions!!

Received cut, color bayalage (and styling) for the first time- the transformation and before and after pictures were just phenomenal! I’ve received countless and significant compliments in person and on social media, and feel like a brand new person! Hayli and Laura were just amazing!!

The worst customer service. Paid for a lash lift and not a single one of my eye lashes was lifted. The girl (Ashley i believe) told me to just put mascara on and if I dont like it I could call back the next day for a FULL refund. The next day was Sunday so they were closed. When I did call later on they told me that only the managers gave refunds and that the manager wasnt in at the moment. I gave them my number and they never called me back. I called about a week or two later and they told me they dont even do refunds and that they probably just put expired product on my eyes as an explanation for the poor attempt at a lash lift. I gave them my phone number again to have the manager call back and they never did. Waste of time and money. They completely scammed me out of $60.

I will 1000% always go back to Wild Olive Salon in Jacksonville! Ashley was incredible, from start to finish! She made me feel so comfortable, and did exactly what I asked for! She has only been on the salon floor for less than a year but you would never know! She is THAT GOOD! The whole team here is a dream! I was visiting from out of state and there was some miscommunication when I scheduled and ended up at the wrong location. The front desk was so kind and squeezed me in anyway and all hands were on deck to get my highlights done since I had limited time. They worked around their schedule and I literally had 2 ladies working on my hair. To top it off my hair turned out beautifully! Their quality of product and customer service is 10 out of 10. The fact that they treated me so well as one of their regulars, knowing this would be the only time coming here, shows their character. I wish I had this place in my home state because I would come here all the time.

They are very professional. The honesty about what I could get to with my hair based on what I wanted was a life saver. They helped me come up with a design that was more realistic for where my hair was at the new plan looks sooo much better than my original plan!

I was so excited to get back to this salon after moving away from the area for 6 years. For the last year I couldn’t find a stylist who could give me the color I want, but Laura SLAYED it. She listened to me carefully about my color and cut concerns, and delivered everything I asked for! I walked in feeling embarrassed by my hair and walked out feeling like a goddess!Everyone at the Jacksonville location was sweet, funny, and kind. I still stand by this being the best salon I’ve ever been to. And don’t be afraid to get booked with someone who isn’t a “master” colorist. Laura did crazy stuff involving bleach and toner and also fighting my hair that loves to pull red. I’ve seen many a colorist fail miserably at what she did yesterday, but not Laura! Plus she’s tons of fun to hang out with for 5 hours. So happy I moved back here and get to enjoy Wild Olive (and the best hair of my life) again!

I love Wild Olive. I have been seeing Lisa for over 5 years now and my hair ALWAYS looks fabulous, even when I’m ready for another salon visit. I always get asked who does my hair and if it’s my real color. I visited Wild Olive as soon as I could post-shelter in place orders and they are doing a marvelous job of keeping things extra clean, wearing masks, social distancing and doing their part to decrease risk. As a health care provider, its refreshing to see their approach and I feel safe in their welcoming environment. They are going above and beyond with everyone’s safety in mind at the cost of their own profits as less clients can be in the salon at a time. This place is definitely worth every penny I spend there.

Laura did a superb job on my haircut. She was efficient, but did not sacrifice quality. I consider the proof of a great haircut to be what it looks like two or three weeks after the haircut. It indicated that the stylist got the shape, length and texture just right. If anything, I liked the appearance of my hair even more several weeks after the haircut.

Kaitlin did my hair today and she did amazing! I was unsure about how short it was but when she got done I felt very confident in the length and ended up loving it!! She was very sweet, kind, and considerate of me while there. I recommend going to her if you’re unsure for a first time visit. Although with the Quarantine going on they were very quick to kick me out of my chair and make another woman’s hair more important for a blonde touch up. Being pregnant in a salon during quarantine I didn’t feel like it was very professional to prioritize someone else just for the money when my appointment was scheduled for a specific time. They should have more precise booking on their appointments in the future. I had to let toner sit in my hair while in the sink because I was kicked out of my chair before my appointment was over. I don’t know why I wasn’t prioritized. It honestly wasn’t Kaitlin fault but I assume her manager, and I feel like they thought that was okay because I’m too nice to say anything in the moment. In the end with my cut besides it being a bit shorter than I expected. She also didn’t cut the front and told me that the photo I showed her it was because it was just styled. Now one side of my hair is cut because it had grown out and the other side not at all making it uneven unless I curl it to hide it not being done properly.

I was uncomfortable at first because the stylists were making ugly comments about some of their clients and talking bad about other coworkers. My stylist was sweet to me and kept reassuring I was going to get the color I wanted from the picture I showed her. I ended up not getting even close to the dark color I wanted and I had friends ask if i got highlights!!.. went in with light brown hair and wanted to come out with dark choclate with some dimension. The colors were nice but not at all close to what I wanted. Came in the next day to get it fixed and still left with a lighter color brown than what I wanted. Both hair colors were pretty BUT not the color I wanted. I am not the type to write bad reviews but I DO NOT recommend this place.

Hayli was great. Super friendly & let me explain what I wanted while adding her professional input in a great way that made me comfortable knowing she understood what I wanted. I wanted to go from drastic long to drastic (for me) short and she delivered. I was nervous but once I saw the final outcome its exactly what I had in my mind. She also did my daughters color and once again was fabulous. It was my daughters first time getting her hair done professionally so she was apprehensive but Halyi made her feel at such ease. My daughter even told after we left that she loved Haylis vibe and the other ladies in the salon were really funny and friendly too she said she would definitely love to continue going back not to mention her blonde highlights came out just as beautiful if not more beautiful than we had envisioned. Will definitely recommend and be going back.

Best salon in the area (lets be honest, the bar is low, but Wild Olive excels). I really appreciate the COVID precautions theyre taking, too. My only real issue is that no matter who shampoos my hair, they never rinse my nape. Maybe its the way their shampoo bowls are set up, maybe its because the front desk is always rushing the stylists to finish quickly, but I always have shampoo/conditioner buildup at my neck/neckline. By the time I get home, its itchy and I have to shower.

I had such an enjoyable time getting my haircut here! First, I am an outsider and was on a time crunch, so being able to make an appointment online was amazing. Then my stylist, Laura, was so kind and considerate. She asked what temperature water I wanted for my hair wash, something I’ve never been asked before! She also offered me and my husband (who accompanied me) coffee which was nice to have for my morning appointment. I loved my haircut and the salon was so bright and chic. I drive an hour out for my appointment to have it get rescheduled for later in the day because the hairstylist was running late with her current client. Fine. Then I agreed to come in an hour later knowing I would have to hangout in town because driving an hour back in fourth was not going to work. 20 mins before my new appointment they call and cancel on me and wouldn’t refund my money. Only to tell me that they could add it to my account for future time. Last time I will ever try to schedule an appointment there with them. They are lucky I like my eyelash tech enough to continue going but overall the rest suck at time management. Not sorry at all. Thanks for wasting my day and gas.

The owner is cool, but that front desk lady daneille is the reason I keep on coming back! I think Im in love with her! Pretty sure Im going to marry that girl! 😂😂😂. Right before I came down to visit family, my hair stylist chopped my hair. I’m usually super nervous because every time I go to someone new something bad happens. Off a recommendation I made an appointment with Kiera. And while she cannot fix the fact that my last hairstylist chopped off way more hair then I wanted, she did a very good job at fixing what I had left to work with. Absolutely will be back again.

I received a body wave perm at this salon and I am VERY unhappy with the results. I payed over $200 plus a 20% tip. My hair was left with no curls it is now a frizzy mess, coarse, and has an awful smell which I expected and will hopefully go away. I had long healthy hair and I was willing to accept some damage had i received what I wanted but that was not the case.

I love coming here, it’s a total experience. Every time I walk in I am greeted and offered a beverage🥂🥂 . All Hair services includes a scalp and neck massage ( 💆🏽‍♀️yes please!) but most importantly is the talent! I personally see Kailtin and she has made my hair dreams come true every time! She listens to you and really delivers. She is so talented both coloring and cutting, she has managed to give me a magazine worthy hair every 👏🏽 Single 👏🏽Time👏🏽 (yessss!) 10/10!!

If you’ve never gotten your hair done before, you probably wouldn’t be disappointed going here. However if you’ve gotten your hair done and LOVED it before, you will hate your experience. Wanted a balayage and left with copper/blonde/white/yellow hair. And the back of my head doesn’t even have any color except my natural extremely dark hair. Customer service was ok. Had to go in a second time and get it fixed because I was so upset with the way my hair was done. Highly recommend lotus salon

Sherri Mack worked wonders with my hair. I came in with a bad box self color that was brassy. Sherri gave me great highlights to repair my color and blend in my grey hair. She also gave me a cute short haircut thAt I have received several comments on. Sherri is a great stylist I recommend her to anyone. I am very pleased with my results!

I moved here from New York and had great trepidation about finding a new hair salon. All my worries were put to ease very quickly and I haven’t looked back. I have my regular standing appointment every other month but love to pop in for a blow out in between visits. You get the same lovely stylists and staff at this location. Everyone is well trained and works under the watchful eyes of Lisa Sanger, owner and Master Stylist. If you haven’t checked out this fantastic salon, now in Jacksonville, you’re missing out! You will be In excellent, well trained hands and love your hair!!
