Technician very knowledgeable; accessed the problem. Went over it with customer. Repair was made with supplies customer provided. 2 more motion sensor light fixtures + 100 ft wire need to be purchased for Technician to return to complete the job.

Being in the construction business B & G was a god send for a remodel project I WS doing. Needed help in a pinch and they sent a very professional qualified electrician out to me less than two of hours of calling. The work was top notch, stayed after hours to make sure everything was done right and took the time to make sure I was completely satisfied. The cost was reasonable and I would highly recommend.

B&G installed my kitchen lights for a reasonable price. They were courteous, on time, professional and competent. Im very happy with their work.I should note that another company quoted me over $600 for the same one-hour job. Outrageous! Im glad I found B&G instead of letting that other company rip me off!

I bought a Amazon Local for two hours of service to do all the things that I could not do - which was a lot. There was no way I thought they could get my wish list done in two hours but boy was I wrong. B&G sent out the best electrician I have ever worked with and he completely exceeded my expectations. Mike was on time and went to work immediately and finished my list wish way ahead of schedule. I recently used B&G for the third time and again was very pleased with the work. This time the electrician, Mike, worked all afternoon climbing around in my attic to install recessed lights in the eaves on the back of the house. He was both efficient and careful about the quality of the work he was doing and, for the length of time the project took, I thought the price was quite reasonable. No question that i will call them again for my next job/project.

I bought a 2-hour service voucher through Living Social to have some simple electrical work done (e.g., adding a switch to a light). The technician, Michael, was on time. He was polite and worked extremely quickly (I felt that I was getting the full amount of time that I purchased). He immediately recognized a problem with wiring performed by a previous electrician that had put our structure at risk of fire. He resolved the problem and installed the switch. I cannot say enough good things about this technician and this company. I will definitely do business with them again, and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

We paid for B&G Electric to install 4 new ceiling fans in our new home that did not come with fans. 7 weeks after being installed the ceiling fan in the living room stopped turning on. I called B&G Electric to see if they would come out and fix it (assuming they would do this at no charge since it had been installed so recently), and they told me I would have to pay for them to fix it since I had provided the ceiling fan. I am extremely disappointed in their customer service and will not be using them in the future. They did not do a good job and were not willing to correct their mistake.

I just moved to Jax, and I was told by JEA, that the electricity in the house I had purchased, had been w/out electricity for 2 years. They needed an electrician to preform a safety inspection. So I googled electrician in the zip code that the property is at, and B&G showed up, I called and as a new costumer they were helpful to provide an electrician on that same day to come and do inspection as long as I pay in advance over the phone with my credit card + the charges of me using a credit card, instead of having electrician collect their payment when work was completed, that is not the bad part. After they got you in their hands because they pull the permit to work in your property, that is when this company turns into a nightmare to deal with, 3 women in the main office will turn your life upside down with making your next appointment to be virtually impossible to secure, playing hot potato game with your time and patience, an beware of estimated charges, the so call estimate is what you will actually pay whether or not they take less time, but of course if they need to charge you over time they will be happy to add that to your bill, just dont ask the to subtract if they take less time, they will threaten to undo work if you dont pay, what was supposed to be an estimate of charges, so skip them when they come back at top of your search.

My power was shut off by JEA after Matthew with no notice. So I needed a electrician to reconnect. So these guysShowed up to my house did absolutely zero work were there maybe 10 min and said they would have write me a estimate this was a sat. So Sunday no power and then Monday I call back for estimate.... Nada.... Will get back to you, so no power for 2 days still waiting, I call another electrician to come out 2 hrs later my power is on back in service. So did B&G ever call me back? Yea 4 days later with estimate 5 times what the other guy charged. Oh and to top they want to charge 300$ for shinning a flash light the night they showed up.COMPLETE SCUMBAGS.

I will never use B&G again. Got Groupon for one time tuning from this company and the guy came as i was not home and i asked my wife to let the guy do tuning. The guy left certifying everything is good in his report and guess what a/c stopped cooling from the next day. I called B&G and they did send another guy now he inspect for more than 30 min and said nothing wrong he wasn’t sure whats was wrong. Then he said refrigerant is little low so he said he may need to fill little bit. At the end of it he said he filled 4lb. My point is if B&G has experienced technitians they how did the first guy certified that everythingis good and second guy came and filled 4lb refrigerant which they charged $260. Now you see here if we are not with them when they doing their job what happens. I strongly believe first guy removed refrigerant and second guy filled it back costed me money.If refrigerant is really 4lbs low any amateur technician would identify that but it didnt happen that here.I called them many times told about this and they said supervisor will call but they never called. B&G is Rippoff. Beware beware..

Electrician came out to look at a pool breaker that kept tripping. He did NOTHING for the first 30 minutes, while he watched the pool run, waiting for the breaker to trip. After 2 hours (most of which was on the phone with his supervisor), he determined I needed a MAJOR repair, which he could not give me an estimate for, then tried to bill me for 2.5 hours. I had another electrician come out to look at the problem and it was fixed within 20 minutes.

Bad Experience with this company.. to many issues to list here.. Im guessing that charging you for travel time before they arrive at your property and then going to the store for supplies is standard in the industry?
