I have been doing business with Advanced Electric for quite some time now, I am very pleased with their work ethic‘s. I would definitely recommend them, there is not one need that I have requested that they haven’t been able to fulfill, they are very professional and they listen to the customers needs and no matter how big or small the task is, they aim for customer satisfaction, they’re very honest, when asking them if it’s worth doing. I will absolute be using them for my future electrical work. Mr. Bill, and his crew are very reliable, professional, and trustworthy.

Job quoted @ 595.00. Took the electrician 1-1/2 hours. One would think the company would make some concession concerning the quote. Not so, they would not accommodate any reduction of job cost. That equals $397.00 per hour. My opinion is to look elsewhere for a qualified electrician that conducts business with integrity.

AE has rewired my entire 1960s home. Their work ethics has been outstanding, cleaning up after themselves, keeping me updated on the progress and doing the work in a timely manner. I highly recommend this company.

Made an appointment, took off from work, and they never showed. Called three hours after my appointment time and was told I would get a call back. Never got the call. If you value your time, stay away from Advanced.

I called to inquire about some minor electrical repairs for my rental property. I provided them with my contact and billing info. We agreed payment could be made by check on the day of service. 2 hours later they called me and said they need the address of my personal residence so that they can come after me if the check bounces. I’m a landlord and use a PO Box for my business. I gave them the PO Box address and contact information. I explained to them that my personal residence is confidential. Then they declined the job. I’ve been a landlord for 12 years and, until now, never had a contractor pre-judge and treat me like a thief. I will gladly take my money elsewhere.

These guys were highly knowledgeable, responsive, and professional. They were higher priced than 2 other estimates we had done but worth the extra for peace of mind the job was being done correctly.

Very pleased with my experience with Advanced Electric! Bryce, Paul an Alan were all very professional, helpful and patient! I had a GFI that kept tripping and found we needed a dedicated outlet for our fridge. Also added an outlet and moved an outlet for me. Highly recommend!!

I called to ask for a quote to re-wire an entire home and less than 10 seconds into the phone call I was told by the receptionist, We are not interested in giving quotes, and hung up on. I have never been hung up on by a business when asking for their business. Avoid this company.

I have used this company four times now to do a wide range of work including installing light fixtures, fans and outdoor heaters. They are extremely competent and professional and I would highly recommend them.

The men arrived promptly, learned what I wanted, and did it. They were friendly & pleasant. The whole experience went well.

Advance Electric of N. Florida is a top notch electrical company that performs electrical services for residential and commercial buildings in Jacksonville. We are a small licensed general contracting firm, originally from Miami and we spent the last two years developing an upscale concrete block home and unattached garage on the St. Johns River. Originally we hired another company to pull the permit and complete the job. Unfortunately the owner disappeared in the middle of the project.We scrambled to locate another company that would be willing to undertake the previous contractors work and pull a new permit. Brice of Advance Electric came out and gave us an estimate. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He sent out Paul, the companys top technician. Paul attacked each part of the job with success, effortlessly. Not only that, he was very polite, efficient and cleaned up after himself. The company did what they would say they would do, supplied the materials and now everything works as it should. We were very happy with our experience with Advance Electric of N. FL. and we can say without reservation that they are one of the best companies that we have ever worked with.

Advanced Electric of North Florida installed an outside outlet and ran a new circuit for the new spa.

Very good experience from start to finish with Advanced. Bryce and the team went above and beyond to make sure we were able to run our generator for the whole house, working late the day before Hurricane Irma hit. Its not easy finding trustworthy contractors today... Advanced is one of the few.

Great customer service, did everything we asked. Installed different electrical lights inside and outside, also we bought the wrong outside lights, the guys said no problem, and we went back to the store and got the correct fixtures. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs any electric equipment installed and I will be using them again.

Very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly workers. It was more like a group of friends fixing my home than a group of strangers. The workers were very polite and easy to talk to. The work was done well and they brought in an extra crew to accommodate my limited amount of time available. I would hire them again with no hesitation.

I reached out to several electricians to get a quote for installing a 240 V outlet (NEMA 14-50) in my garage in order to charge an electric car.Brice was easy to talk to and quickly gave me a quote based on a picture of my breaker box.I got some other quotes and Advanced Electric of North Florida came in significantly lower than the rest, so I went with them.They came out and the guys were great and the work was done professionally. I even asked for a tweak to what they were doing (wanted it installed flush mount instead of surface mount, which I hadnt clarified ahead of time) and they were able to accommodate. Would use again.

I had a bad experience with the owner of the company and would not recommend them based on the way he treated me. They gave us an estimate for a simple job and we questioned the quote bc the estimate seemed like a long amount of labor. We were told the job would take 2 hours of work and it was $100 an hour plus parts. The job was easily finished in less then an hour with no trouble. They still wanted to charge me the inflated price that was clearly quoted wrong on the time the job would take. I spoke with the owner and told them I was not paying for extra time that wasn’t spent and he immediately became rude and combative and said people like you try to get a cheaper price after. I explained I didn’t want a cheaper price I wanted to pay for the hours they worked. After being completely disrespected and yelled at by him he agreed to charge me a lower price. This was a very terrible experience and will not use them again. It was one thing to have a misunderstanding, but to be talked to like I am a terrible person and treated like that will not be tolerated. I felt like they over quoted the time by a lot to make more money off the small job.

Called for service. They could not come out for two days . Was told last night they would be here this morning I make time out of my schedule to make sure I am available and then no show. I call to find out what is going on I am told my service is not going to happen until this evening with no reason other than something more important came up which tells me my business is not important no call and they lady on the phone really didnt seem concerned. I canceled my new appointment they made without checking with me. What a joke.

The gentleman were timely, polite, and knowledgeable. They fixed all issues. They kept me updated on everything. The price was reasonable. This company is phonomenal.

They were able to come out with one day notice to help keep us on track with our remodeling project. Very prompt and courteous.

Service was performed this morning and the problem was fixed. However, when I was quoted the price it was for an hour of work and then priced in increments of half hour if more time is needed. They charged for an extra half hour even through they were not here longer than an hour and told my daughter it was because of drive time, etc. When I was quoted the price it was DEFINITELY stated that the price began when they knocked at the door and that travel time was not charged. Shame on me. I should have required a written quote. Just dont make the same mistake as I did. It wont happen again.

I really hope he comes back to finish what the other guy said that he would do .... over all the 4 point inspector approved it for the insurance company and JEA IS HERE NOW... But the strangest thing the 4 point Adjustor wanted to know how much I was charged ? And he was serious ...

Very bad experience! Disorganized bunch! Made an appointment with me rather fast; so I canceled my trip and rushed across town to meet the estimator Bryce.....appointment was at 11:30, I waited until 11:46 to call the office and nobody knew anything??? I was told Id get a call back, I waited onsite until 12:05, finally giving up in disgust. Later on a lady from the office called and left a message that he wouldnt be able to come; that he was on his way to Orange Park. Seems like the left hand doesnt know what the right hand is doing. Very disorganized company.
