Dr Morello may be a good dermatologist, but this review pertains to his office staff on the afternoon of 5.19.21. The receptionist at the front was rude from the beginning. She made no eye contact, was unfriendly, and had the approach of processing me. Furthermore, I overheard her making a feeble attempt to confirm my insurance. She then claimed my insurance co. was not cooperative and quoted me a higher than market price for a wort removal on my finger (and called it a surgery). I asked what their normal (uninsured) charge was for a simple wort removal and she rolled her eyes at me for even asking question. At this point, I said Im not interested in seeing the doctor anymore and walked out. Lastly, on 5.18.21 Dr Morellos office asked me to come earlier than my original 3pm time. I agreed to come between 2:30 and 2:45. It seems their staff is not very well organized since 5 patients walked in between 2:40 and 3pm. Maybe triple booking the schedule is how the office staff can justify treating customers poorly (like they are visiting a government run health agency in a 3rd world country).

I’ve been going to this doctor off & on for years as needed. I love the office decor, the place is clean, and I am super impressed with the Covid precautions. As a doc, he has never tried to sell me any ‘line of products’. The products he recommends can all be bought at drugstore, plus he ALWAYS gives me tons of samples to use. He is straight, to the point, and I’ve always been able to make appts quickly and easily. Would recommend.

As a first note, this office has implemented CDC Covid-19 procedures that seem to be followed precisely. But more importantly, Dr. Morello is a physician who seeks to actually examine and treat his patients problems before rushing them out. Hes very thorough in his examinations and always asks in the end if there is any other problem I need to report. I appreciate that in a physician.

They got me right in and was upfront about cost and treatment which was very reasonable but more importantly the care was fantastic!

I visited this office a total of 7 times over a period of 2 months for 5 separate surgeries. Every time I was there I knew I was in good hands with these two professionals. Even during the hectic times of the holidays they scheduled my surgeries and suture removals with the upmost importance. So I was one of those people who didnt read any reviews before I made my appointment. I did however read them after I made the appointment and actually became nervous. I arrived to my appointment and immediately realize the negative reviews were certainly wrong. The office is decorated very tastefully vintage, it sparked positive emotions of a time when life was just a little easier. The doctor was on time very efficient and eased any concerns about my health and was actually very pleasant. My overall experience was very nice, if having a biopsy and spots frozen can really be nice, it was! Thank you for your help today and oh yeah thank you for being totally upfront with costs. What a nice experience no surprises!

My family is prone to skin cancer so I was really nervous about a skin cancer check, but Dr. Morello was so kind and reassuring. I will send my entire family here! His staff is also so helpful and attentive. Would highly recommend this dermatologist to everyone!

FYI, if you are Active Duty or family of Active Duty with Tricare Prime AND a referral, you are NOT required to pay a copay. Atlantic Boulevard Dermatology staff is very rude and tries to charge “everyone a copay.”When my wife protested, while on the phone with Tricare, another patient told my wife to “shut your mouth” and the receptionist told my wife that “she should leave.”DO NOT accept ANY referrals here from your PCM or Tricare, if you do and they try to charge you a copay, call Tricare and complain and get a new referral to a different dermatologist.Hopefully Tricare removes this practice from their network for shady and wrong “policies.”

Office staff and doctor were not professional at all during my visit over a year ago. Was looking for another dermatologist and his name came up in my search so I decided to post my review. I heard the doctor himself and the receptionist talking about myself and the patient that was in the room next to me. I was completely humiliated when I walked out of the room. If you decide to make fun of a patients condition maybe keep your voice down next time because the exam room walls are thin!

STAY AWAY! I took my daughter here, went because I could get in fast.. should of read the other reviews first. When you walk into the waiting room it is like a scene out of the recent Hoarders episode on TV. There are movie and war posters from the top of the ceiling to the bottom of the floor, also other memorabilia. It is NOT how a doctors office would look. I gave it a chance, figured, maybe he is just a fan of this time period. When we were put in the room it was a house of horrors. This posters continued into the examining rooms. FLOOR TO CEILING. The cabinets are covered in stickers as well as the doors.. there was even an old suitcase on the floor covered in stickers. If this wasnt outrageous enough there was dust so think hanging from the vents, it must of dripped a foot down. SICK. He should be visited by the health department. There is a reason he can get you in same or next day. STAY FAR AWAY! The advice he gave us and prescriptions was totally off base as well, went to another dermatologist immediately.. this place should be shut down.

Great bedside manner, one of the coolest parts about this visit was his awesome, eclectic office. It was almost like an arts display at a museum. Dr. Morello really eased my anxiety about my skin problems and was super helpful. Will be following up next month.

Dr. Morello is a fantastic doctor and great guy. Having fair skin, eczema, and just about everything else, it is good to have a dependable dermatologist nearby. He knows what he is doing and does it well. Thumbs up.

If you are looking for a dermatologist and staff who truly have your best interest at heart, Atlantic Boulevard Dermatology is the right practice. Dr. Morello is wonderful, and his staff is friendly and very helpful. My entire family sees Dr. Morello, for everything from skin cancer prevention to acne.I had a facial laceration that was treated at an emergency walk in clinic. I called Dr. Morellos office the next morning to ask for advice, because I was afraid of scaring. His assistant got me an emergency appointment, and the treatment plan he provided ensured that my face healed properly.All doctors take an oath to first do no harm, Dr. Morello embodies the oath. If they dont accept your insurance, the fees for service on a self pay basis are very reasonable.

I saw this doctor in late June for adult acne. He put me on an entire skin care regime, including antibiotics, hormone blocker, face wash, and face ointment. He sent me out with two scripts for bloodwork. Neither he NOR the office staff told me WHEN to have the second bloodwork completed or when I would need to come back for a follow up. I immediately had the first round of bloodwork done. As my first prescription of the hormone blocker ran out, my pharmacy called the office asking for a refill. It was filled with no issues. Again, I had NO contact from the doctor or office staff. This week my prescription has again run out and the office won’t fill it without seeing me again and getting follow up blood work. Fair enough, right? The office is REFUSING to give me a few days worth of pills to hold me over until they can squeeze me in 5 days from now. Their excuse: they want to check my liver and kidneys to make sure the medication isn’t causing issues. Apparently there is no concern for what damage could be caused to me from stopping these pills cold turkey. I’ve already scheduled an appointment with another office and have NO intentions of ever returning here.PS When I first called asking for a few days worth of pills they said they would call me back and I never heard anything. I had to call them the next day to find out what was going on. EXTREMELY unprofessional.

I thought receptionist cordial when I called knowing I would be late to reschedule as not to cause inconvenience to Dr. I was 8 minutes late as she told me to come on in and no problem and helped me with directions chatting and relaying her experiences driving. I Was examined but Dr very curt without expression or much dialogue. I left and thanked them but returned to give them info Dr questioned me about. I Heard the receptionist and Dr talking about me very rudely. I use to be a nurse and this is unlawful and unethical. Beware! I would never go there or trust them again . I will report this.

This place is so horrible! They charge outrageous copays because its a specialty dermatologist the wait times are unreal for the doctor to see you when Im the single patient in there! The doctor was in the middle of a surgery with me and said he would be right back didnt come back for over a half hour and left me laying on the surgery table. When I came back to get my stitches removed the receptionist didnt even remove all my stitches and my boyfriend had to weeks later after it wasnt healing properly. Very very disappointed and Ill never return. Only two people working there and they ARE NOT friendly. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone ever! On top of that prescribed me the wrong creams for my conditions so wasted money on that as well. Go someplace else trust me.

Dr. Morello takes his time to explain his diagnosis and treatment plan. He is very thorough and his staff is pleasant and helpful.

HORRIBLE! The first time I went here I was charged for my visit even though I had met my deductible and cap. The women at the front is extremely rude and unhelpful. Getting over that, I continued to see Dr. Morello because I needed my skin condition taken care of. I began a medicine that was supposed to do just this. After the first week, I noticed the actual prescription wasnt called in. So I called insurance and they told me all the doctors office had to do was call them to approve the medication. I called the office and asked them to do this. Then, I called back a week later wondering why the medication still wasnt approved (by this point I was getting over the first two weeks of sickness the medication causes) and all the woman at the front would say was I did all I could do, with a horrible attitude. So I asked Did you call them and approve the medicine? Again, all I got was I did all I can do. So now, I get to find a new dermo, go through that 2 weeks of sickness again, and they still owe me $15. I would stay far away. They are taking advantage of their patients.

Visited Dr. Morello on Jan. 18th 2018 and was diagnosis with Frontal Fibrosing Alopecia. I wanted a 2nd opinion so I went to Mayo & Dr. Morello diagnosis was right on the money. KOOTOS to Dr. Morello!!

I went to another doctor for another illness & mentioned to him that I had a reoccurring cyst that kept getting infected & had to be drained periodically. He examined it & said you need surgery to have it removed draining it would not solve the issue and I quote hes a quack. I explained that I dont have insurance & Im a self pay patient & that it costs me $200 per visit & this would be the 4th time to have it drained, he immediately told me dont waste your money and referred me to a doctor to have the cyst removed. My question is after the third visit why wouldnt Dr. Morello suggest surgery to have it removed🤷🏻‍♂️??? Furthermore just doing research on the internet the infected cyst has to be treated with antibiotics & when infection is gone cyst may be removed surgically. Its been a waste of time living with a ungodly smelly cyst when I could of been diagnosed correctly.And his receptionist is very unhelpful & lacks lets say a certain bedside manner sprinkled in with lack of apathy. I called to say that my cyst is infected leaking puss & what should I do. Her response was Dr. is on holiday just make an appointment. No you need to go to your primary dr. or emergency room so infection doesnt spread or ill check with dr to see if you can get some antibiotics or something. Just let the infection drain away or possibly get worse. No just make an appointment 2 1/2 weeks from now very unprofessional in my opinion.I thought I was receiving quality care but went to a real doctor & he showed me that my previous care was inadequate at best.Would not recommend.

There was Barley ever a wait. I allways got Scheduled just perfectly. Surprisingly there was some kool stuff to look at around the patient rooms.The staff seemed to be doing a GOOD FAST job and was also just courteous enough for a business setting. Most importantly the Dr.seemed to be concerned and experienced. He also took his time and Listened attentively. I got well what I paid for. Very pleasurable experiences every time. Ive had Excellent results in my procedures after being failed by some of the most renowned faculties in NYC/NJ. Its a well balanced opporation thats yielded me the most positive results with the individual attention I was given.

Its nothing like a dermatologist. He kept trying to advertise creams and he had to use a book to find all the answers to our questions. VERY BAD AND UNPROFESSIONAL
