While I’ve had plenty of dentists with moves and dissatisfaction of some, this one I will not change. The office staff are wonderful!!! The doctor was the best honestly the best I’ve ever had. She is thorough, explains what she is doing in terms I understand and uses X-rays and photos to help in explaining what is going on. Absolutely love this place!!!

Had an emergency situation with lots of tooth pain and Debbie got me into the office that day as well as scheduling me with the specialist in a different location to confirm the issue. She got me back into the Great Expressions office the next morning for the procedure and within 24 hours Im on the mend. The entire staff and especially Dr. Rostami and her assistant Holly made me feel comfortable and so glad to have these people taking care of me.

Marias exceptional professional ability and expertise as a dental hygienist made my appointment very pleasant and comfortable. Her charismatic and cheerful attitude toward her job responsibilities greatly aided in creating a pleasant atmosphere within the dental office. Her high level of spirit, desire, and dedication in performing her dental duties is instrumental in her execution of her duties with her patients. Great job by her and the staff of “Great Expressions” dental office!!!

Lets start by saying A) I hate dentists B) Im hard to please when it comes to customer service and C) I dont like people in general. Im kind of cranky. Dr. Davis and his staff, from the second you walk in until the moment you leave make sure youre comfortable and happy. Asking me if Im doing ok, can they get me anything, etc. I highly recommend this office and its staff. They even got me a blanket because I mentioned I was cold. They continue to educate on proper brushing techniques, how dental hygiene is important for your whole body, and just answer any questions you might have.Once, the dentist was 5 minutes late (only 5 minutes) and every single staff member checked on me and personally apologized. Over just 5 minutes! Ive waited hours to see doctors before who have never even acknowledged their tardiness. Not to mention everyone is personable and so so so kind!!

This was a very very negative customer service experience for me. It was so bad I cancelled my appointment and found a better dentist.I got attitude from every person I spoke to, especially the female who’s in charge of payment, Tracy. I had arranged payment through my insurance, and left a phone number for them to call.The next day I get woken up out of my sleep by Tracy. She tells me with an attitude that she needs the insurance information. The way she talked to me, it was as if she thought I was the Customer Service Rep and she was the customer: Like, “How dare you inconvenience me.” I then checked their reviews, found similar experiences, and canceled the appointment.Just to confirm the other reviews: They do push unnecessary procedures on you. They tried to set me up with a full x-ray when all I requested was a cleaning and crown put in.

The staff is extremely courteous and knowledgeable, and the quality of their work is excellent.

I understand that problems are sometimes an inevitable occurrence. Communication is paramount in these situations. When all the regular staff is either out for various reasons, retired or have left for one reason or another, it is important to establish a new relationship between the staff and the patient. Therein is where the problem started. Being on time is crucial to all parties involved. We met that threshold. While appointments often run over, to see patient after patient continue to be waited on in front of you, even though they arrived after you, is frustrating to say the least. Not until we approached the receptionist, at the front desk, were we even given any explanation, although unacceptable to me. I asked to speak to the office manager, at this point. As luck would have it, or misfortune, she was one of the ones out on leave. At this point, my wife was getting even more nervous. She was becoming visibly upset, after already having concerns about the ensuing procedure. The receptionist attempted to assure us that it would not be too long, due to the dentist running behind schedule. Then come to find out that there was a new dentist performing the procedure, was not that comforting, nor reassuring. When she asked did we want to reschedule, it was all I could do to remain calm. Reschedule, are you serious? Add up the gas, loss of time from work, as well as, the time waiting in the lobby, without any explanation, until pressed for answers to questions, and you may begin to understand my frustration. When she finally made it to the back, imagine my surprise, when the same thing happened to the only other black lady to visit on this particular day! Ill definitely be monitoring this behavior, going forward in the future!

My experience at this Great Expressions Clinic was absolutely amazing! This was my first time at this clinic as I had to make a spur of the moment visit to the dentist. I have been a great expressions client for years down in south Florida, but I currently live in more northern Florida, about an hour and a half away from Jacksonville. There are no Great Expressions clinics where I live and so I had to go to the closest one to me. I picked this Great Expressions completely based off of the reviews that I saw it had, and I must say, I see why they are rated so high! All of the staff are so sweet, sincere, and are all accommodating. I was able to get my yearly exam, imaging, cleaning, and also some filling work done all in the same visit! My Dentist was very knowledgeable and demonstrated lots of care when working on my teeth. My hygienist (Lisa) was so personable and did a great job at my cleaning while also making me feel like I was speaking to a family friend. :) All of the other techs (Holly, Megan) were just as nice and made sure I was well informed of the process and the procedures that I would be getting next. The office staff were great too! They were so welcoming and friendly; you can tell that they genuinely care about you as a person and want to see you satisfied with your care. I live an hour and a half away from this dentist and I would easily make this drive to see them again. If you are in the Jacksonville area, or even somewhat close to it like me, I would HIGHLY recommend this facility!

All of a sudden, very poor customer service. All businesses enjoy sustained operations based on bottom line results. This is obtained by a precious balance between putting the customer first versus forcing procedures on the customer to enhance their bottom line. Would not return to this office even if free services were offered.

The new Dr. D is wonderful. New arrivals Jennifer and Sherri are the best. The whole staff is terrific!

This place makes someone like me - someone whos grown up with an irrational fear of all doctors and dental offices - very comfortable. The entire staff is always in a great mood and is sincerely happy to help. The doctors go out of their way to make sure you understand your options and your plan. I feel welcome to ask any questions without judgement, and I feel well taken care of every time I leave. Also very easy to book appointments in person, over the phone, or online! So convenient!

Dr. Moore and the entire staff treated me really great! I felt as if I had known them for years from the moment I walked it. I needed some dental work done fast and only had a very small window of time to work with. They got me in and out and did a great job on my teeth. This will be my Go To dental office as long as I am in Jacksonville!

Im honestly surprised there are any good reviews about this place. The front office staff is nice however the doctors make up things that are wrong with your teeth to increase profits. Ive always had healthy teeth and I go there and all of the sudden Ive got all of these cavities. Hygienist even told me I had a broken filling that needed to be fixed immediately. When I told her Ive never had a filling done she said I probably just forgot. I decided not to come back after that. Went to a new dentist and they said they didnt see anything wrong with my teeth. This location is a scam.

Dr. Shelby Denman is a wonderful addition. The entire atmosphere has had a major improvement because of him. My husband and I came very close to leaving this practice after being very unhappy and very dissatisfied. We will stay because of Dr. Denman and his staff. Extremely happy with the change.

I have been going to Dr. Deason for 30 or more years. He remains up to speed on the newest techniques and best equipment. I have never been disappointed in his care! Christine is my hygienist - and she helps me take care of my teeth and gums. Highly recommended.

Dr. Hu is wonderful as is the staff! I just wish that Great Expressions had not cancelled the TV when they took over. I had a long appointment yesterday and the distraction would have been welcome.

I visited this office today and was very disappointed with my experience. I knew things were going to start off badly when the dental assistant persistently tried to sell me a Sonicare toothbrush after I repeatedly said I was not interested. I came to this office because last week I saw a Periodontist who told me I needed to see a General Dentist for a routine cleaning before an upcoming procedure. I have dental insurance that covers 100% of preventative visits and cleanings, so I anticipated this would be an easy visit without any money out of pocket. The dentist, Dr. Denman, proceeded to less complete exam than the periodontist I saw last week and told me that I would require a more intensive form of teeth cleaning called a periodontic debridement. So somehow a specialist in the field of Periodontics told me last week that I only need a general cleaning, yet today Dr. Denman a General Dentist told me that I required a intensive Periodontic procedure. At this point I am sure you can see my confusion between the conflicting statements of a specialist versus a General Dentist. Conveniently, this procedure he was requiring I have was not covered by my insurance and would cost me $130 out of pocket. As a fellow medical professional I am highly dissapointed with the care I received from this office and I will not be returning.

I love Southpoint Dental! Everyone is so kind and friendly, from the actual dentists to the ladies up at the front desk. I definitely recommend this office.

I had a bad experience from the start, bit they were conveniently located so I decided to let it slide. When I went in for my first cleaning(mind you I have VERY clean, well maintained teeth. Couple of cavities and missing mollars, but that is pretty normal) thw hygienist told me that my “teeth are bad, but that is tupical for people from your country. You guys have poor dental care” . I asked for a different hygienist and brushed it off.After that, every time I would come for an appointment(always early), I was NEVER taken in on time. Wait was always 15-20 mins past my appt time. That was only TWO of the problems. I dont have time nor the energy to list the reat of them.Today however, was the last straw. I showed up 10 minutes late, for the first time in 3 years, to be told “Your appt was at 3. You were her last appointment, so she left” TEN MINUTES.Thank you for making the decision to finally change dentists, that much easier.

MY FIRST VISIT AND I AM CONFIDENT THAT I HAVE FOUND THE RIGHT DENTAL PRACTICE FOR ME. CRYSTAL TOOK EXCELLENT CARE OF ME AND IT WAS A PLEASURE MEETING HER AND DR MOORE. I KNOW THAT I WILL GET THE BEST DENTAL CARE FROM THEM .

I initially went in based on my treatment plan for one filling, numbing was put into my mouth and the hygienist walked away for a lengthy period of time while my mouth pooled with saliva causing the numbing to slip out of my mouth. After drilling begun, the dentist stops and says you will need 2 fillings. I immediately reached my tounge to the area that she was working on and to my surprise she had begun drilling two teeth instead of the one that I initially came for! Unable to say no at this point, since my tooth was already drilled, I had no choice but to agree. If I was not already anxious enough, as the procedure progresses the doctor stops and has the hygienist use a piece of tape to tape together the drill that she is using. Needless to say I won’t return.

I received an email for a cleaning. I called and they fit me into their schedule for today! Wonderful staff and would recommend this office to any patient!
