I had a great experience as a new patient. The hygienist and Dr were very nice and personable. They were very thorough with their exam and created a dental plan for any work that needed to be done. I was very impressed.

I have been a patient of Dr. Boales since I believe I was in my early teens and I am now just turning 22. I have had so many problems with my teeth and Dr. Boales is always able to fix the problem. I am very embarrassed about my teeth and I always walk out feeling better about myself. Dr. Boales is a fantastic dentist and a lovely person. He always asks how Im doing and how my family is doing, has kind manners, and is quick and good at his job!! I also always love to see the girls up front and in the back (Debbie is usually the lovely lady who takes me back). My point is that no matter who I see up front or who takes me back, they are all so kind and make me feel as comfortable as possible. They also are lovely and so kind on the phone, if I have to reschedule or cancel, it is no problem. Dr. Boales is also so kind to his staff which is beautiful to see.. It shows that everyone is a team there.. not everywhere you go is like that. I am never embarrassed or afraid to call (I am shy). The patient care is outstanding!! I have NEVER had a bad experience or felt judged at all. I feel so comfortable with Dr. Boales and his medical staff. My siblings and parents also are patients of Dr. Boales. We love you guys so much!! ❤

I was greeted warmly as I first walked in the door. Jenn came to get me promptly. She worked quickly efficiently and gently. She always answers my questions and explains why different services are necessary and important. She outlines different choices for me so that I can make my own informed decisions regarding my dental care. I appreciate how comfortable the entire staff makes me feel during every visit.

Had the best experience with a wisdom tooth extraction. From start to finish, the entire process was quick, efficient, and informative. The staff was also great! Would highly recommend.

I came in for as a new customer for a general cleaning. During the beginning steps to getting my cleaning, there were tests that were performed that I was not told would happen prior to the cleaning and that I had never seen done before. During these tests, the dental hygienist preformed a one regarding a pretty serious gum disease. After the test she proceeded to tell me that even with my pristine dental hygiene, that I had Periodontitis. Because of this diagnosis I was told that counting with my general cleaning (the whole reason I was there) could result in the disease to get worse and they would not be reliable if that occurred and they did the cleaning. Then I was then told that in order to fix the issue, I would have to pay over $700 dollars for a different visit for each side of my mouth to be cleaned to rid my mouth of the disease. Even though there is a pill that can be prescribed to fix the issue and the cleaning being the last step in a regular dentist office. I didnt trust this diagnosis and so I sought a second opinion. I am very glad that I did. I went to a different dentist, one that I had seen in the past and trusted, who performed the same testing and stated that I didnt have this gum disease and wouldnt need to go through the lengthy and costly treatment that was offered from Reedy Branch. I went out on a limb to try a new dentist and I was met with dishonesty and an office that wants to use all this up dated and ground breaking testing to be swindled out of my hard earned income, especially during this time in the world, and I feel cheated and lied to. It is SO disappointing that we cant trust physicians and their practices. This office will try anything to sell you services and testing that you probably dont need and you maybe lied to to get the services they are trying to sell to their patients.

I visited here this morning after my clinic of 10 years shuttered. My COVID-19 nerves were put at ease immediately by the cautionary signage stating the protocols. The wait room was welcoming and so were the staff. My new favorite hygienist (Jennifer) and dentist (Dr Owen Boales) have the expertise and communication skills to meet my expectations. My teeth and gums are in good hands once again!

Everyone was very nice and friendly. They are more interested in your care than selling you dental work that may not be needed. Deb, the dental assistant, was amazing and she and the doctor did a great explaining everything very clearly. They treat you like family here.

Absolutely love Dr Boales and my normal hygienist however today’s experience was the worst I’ve ever had at a dentist for a normal cleaning! This person who never even introduced herself, was so heavy handed, out the suction in my mouth and then kept stepping on the hose and ripping my lip with the hose. I definitely feel like I’ve been beat up after that experience and pray they let her practice on some models or something if she’s gonna stick around.

Great to be able to fix my teeth. Loretta is an exceptionally capable Dental Assistant. She helped me feel at ease while spending 21/2 to 3 hours having the drilling etc. And never even made me gag or choke with water due to her expertise. Thanks 😎😁

Honestly love the dentist he is great super personable but the dental hygienist who cleaned my teeth was very rude and made it to the point im questioning if I want to keep this place as my go to dentist. The Dr. Was truly wonderful though very understanding of my fear of dentists and needles.

I have been going to Reedy Branch for last more than 1 year and I always had very good experience but this time my hygienist was changed. The real problem was she told me during cleaning there is some spot and that looks like cavity. This visit they had taken x-rays. When doctor came to see me, he didnt tell me anything related with cavity. After completing the cleaning, hygienist gave me recommendation paper to fill the cavity with amount shown on the paper. I suspect they tried to just make money by saying that there is a cavity. She was supposed to show me X-ray of the tooth with cavity and doctor should have discussed with me. Next time, I will request to get other hygienist who had cleaned my teeth earlier.

First visit to my new Dentist-good experience.

I was impressed by the facility and the professionalism exhibited by the personnel in my first visit to your office.However, after leaving my checkup and cleaning where I was told I had at least two large cavities, including one under a filling needing immediate attention, I was only given an appointment in four months for my next cleaning. I am wondering why the cavities were not addressed for a more immediate appointment need.

Dr. Boales is an excellent dentist but its hard to get an appointment for teeth cleaning. My husband called for an appointment in November and the first available was March 24th. His staff also dont provide you with an itemized bill unless you ask for it.
