PLEASE READ! please DO NOT take your children here.Hi, i’m a 12 year old who used to go to this dentist office. Even though i’m a child and this may sound very dramatic, i want my story to be heard. please believe your children when they tell you things. I went to this dentist and they made another appointment for me to get my teeth extracted and filled. When the day came, they gave me a liquid medicine about 15 minutes before the procedure. Telling me that it would help me stay calm during the process. It did not help whatsoever. They strapped me up in a chair and made me stay still, put my head into a frame so i couldn’t move it. And would not tell me anything about what would happen. While i was having the procedure done, Dr.Blake was talking and not paying attention to what he was doing when curing the gel in my mouth. At one point, he was so busy talking he held to plyers in front of my face and i saw it. I started SCREAMING with fear. And then he pulled two tooth’s out. One wasn’t even loose nor did it have cavities. Honestly just thinking back to it makes me sick. I’ve never been so TRAUMATIZED. This happened to me when i was 11. But please, from an ex patient i’m begging you DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE. They literally ABUSE the children there and thankfully, i do not go there anymore but i feel so bad for the poor babies that have to go there and get TRAUMATIZED and ABUSED when they did nothing wrong. I must add, they don’t let parents go in the back or to sit with their children while they are getting a procedure done or anything as basic as a cleaning. Honestly Dr.Blake is such a horrible doctor and does not deserve that position. Thank you for taking your time to read this!

I took my now 14 year old daughter there as a young child. They did extensive dental work including crowns and fillings. Never let me in the back, never let me see x-rays. My daughter, now older, confesses that they tied her to a chair when she was little (around 4 years old), and threatened her if she was not still. She had a crown fall off at age 10, and her new dentist said the tooth was not damaged and did not look like it ever needed a crown as it appears they just slapped a crown over her tooth. Stay away.

This dental office traumatized my 3 year old, it took many years and an amazing doctor to finally ease her dental visits. They didn’t let us in, we never met the doctor, they strapped her, she was screaming, this is child abuse! She had popped blood vessels on her face from the stress!! Don’t take your children there!

I didn’t even had the chance to meet the doctor, staff or office just because when I scheduled an appointment for my 3 year old son and they said for the appointment I would have to stay outside in my car while they examine him, do X rays, etc. I told them he does not understand English and has speech delay and they didn’t care. Said I have to follow the guidelines and leave my son alone with stranger people talking and touching him without anyone familiar by his side. I just cancelled the appointment. They were rude over the phone and totally insensitive..and after reading all this reviews, I’m happy I did. Never trust people who do not allow parents by little children in medical practices... what are they hiding??

I have two children (7 and 6)who have been going here for almost 3 years now and we love it. Yes, the building is old and the decor is outdated but that has nothing to do with the services provided. My kids have teeth in perfect shape now (after having to have a few cavities taken care of-which they did an amazing job of), they love going there and arent afraid to go in the back alone. The staff is amazing, friendly, informative, and kind! If you do not want your kids to go in the back alone dont take them here (they want kids to be able to relax without possible parental fears of dentists being passed on). Scheduling their 6 month cleaning now! !! 😀

Have been going here over the last year, after a close friend brought her daughter here and they literally saved her 3yo s teeth, i have a 12yo, 9yo, 7yo who have had great experiences. nurses have been very nice during visits.Gave a 4 because the waiting room is very boring, no entertainment, and you cant go in the back room with the children. Also If you miss 1 appt without calling then you have to write a letter explaining why you missed and if you dont they wont see you again. (havent had the issue tho)

Dr. Blake has a very hard job! If you have a child like myself who has issues (ADHD & ODD) he is firm with them so he is able to treat your child without incidence. He is in an older office but probably has to watch what he spends because he treats mostly Medicaid recipients. You should not complain about free dental services being paid by taxpayers and these payments which are reimbursed to dentist are meanial. Just the fact he accepts these patients tells me cares about the welfare of children and not just the money!

Horrible experience here. And its obvious I wasnt the only one. This place is worse than a 3rd world country. Horrible staff. Terrible demeanor and very disrespectful. They dont allow some people back with their children. They rudly dismiss you. It was a very traumatizing experience. If I could give 0 stars. I would. Avoid this place at all costs. Your honestly better off doing your own dental work at home.

After reading other reviews i was hesitant to go here, the office was a little hard to find, but the nurses were great. My LO didnt like the oxygen mask at her first dentist, and this place uses oral anaesthesia. Only had one appointment so far, but had a great experience. And no, they dont let you go back with your child to get the work done.

It’s getting two stars because the nurses were very kind. The actual dentist was rude as can be! He told me we had to pull all of my 10 month olds teeth (I’ve been to a different dentist and they said that was crazy and unnecessary) and when I had questions he completely brushed me off! Office is pitch black. The dentist wouldn’t stop calling my son her and girl even though he was corrected multiple times, then he acted like I was stupid for correcting him? And he basically told me that I was a bad mom for breastfeeding my son and that breastfeeding was the worst thing I could’ve done. No regard to all the good things about breastfeeding and didn’t even think to check for a lip tie.

BEWARE: Worst dentist ever! Staff are rude and extremely aggressive. The first visit was perfect and everything went great, but when it came time to have the work done, the other staff was rude and flat out disrespectful! I requested to speak with the office manager and the dentist came in with two other people and demanded what my problem was. He argued with me and informed me that neither he nor his staff had to be respectful to his patients and that we were not clients, we were patients and therefore we had no rights to common procedures of hospitality. I.E. Kindness, Respect, or even civilized conversation. We left and the dentist could be heard laughing at us while we walked out because he doesnt believe in a persons ability to post reviews and it negatively effect his business.

I took my 2yr old daughter there. The Dr asked if I breast fed her in the past and I said yes. Then proceeded to tell me that the reason why my daughter has cavities is because,I breast fed her and that was the worst thing I could do for my child. Then the nurse told me that they would put her on sedation but would have to strap her down to do the procedure, then told me that I was not allowed back in there with my daughter while they performed the procedure. I got up and walked out after that. Id rather do it myself then to ever allow some one put their hands on my daughter while she is strapped down and awake without me being present. That was such a heartbreaking experience.

Nurses are kind but actual dentist is very very rude. These people have no idea what they are doing and force your mouth open. Don’t let parents back to the rooms. I myself have not been restrained but have seen restraints in the facility. Overall a bad experience

Wow is all I can say! Wish I would of read the reviews before taking my children to this place. The environment is dark and outdated, smells like an old hotel. Staff is not friendly and I was uncomfortable with the fact I couldnt be with my 4 year old during her exam. They dont allow parents in the treatment area, which in some cases I can understand but it was just ridiculous. I was charged for x-rays which I didnt know my kids were getting and are film xrays (most dental offices now use digital). Then wanted to charge a duplication fee for a copy of them....I just said forget it!! I am so done with this place and would not recommend unless you are absolutely desparate. Oh and did I mention they charged me twice for the same thing....I am just appalled and cant believe this place is still in business :(

The only reason they got 1 star is because I couldn’t give less. Brought my 11 year old son here because his general dentist said a pediatric dentist needed to do his fillings & extraction. My son has had an extraction and fillings in the past with no issues. Dr. Blake apparently feels it necessary to sedate children with additional medicines when performing these procedures. When I declined the additional sedatives, and requested only novacaine be used, he told his assistant to tell me to “go back to Dr. Fulton’s Office”. Will never come back again. I had a bad feeling from the beginning when one of the papers I had to sign said “if you take your child elsewhere for treatment or miss an appointment you’ll no longer be considered a patient here”. Absolutely ridiculous. You shouldn’t be scared of missing an appt. Doctors work for YOU, not the other way around.

Worst people in the world my wife has a panic attack and has to leave. So I called Mr. Blake (not doctor because no doctor would treat someone like this.) Told me very rudely thats its in my familys best interest to find another dentist and hung up on me without even giving me a chance to talk. We are supposed to trust our children with him and he treats people this way. Its disgusting and unsellting to know the type of person he is.

First off I was told my apt was at 1:30 so I was there at 1:15, nope the appt wasn’t until 2 and they wanted me there at 1:30.... then I didn’t get seen until 2:20. We go into this little room that I guess is “parent approved” and the RUDE lady doesn’t even know why my son is there and proceeds to give me an attitude. Then as she tells me what he’s goi. To have done my son says ok mommy let’s go and she tells me parents aren’t allowed in the treatment areas? Are you kidding me? Who knows what this dude is doing to your children while they are almost sedated and cannot defend themselves. He is taking advantage of families on Medicaid and it’s just wrong!

So now she is 9 and needs immediate help with a tooth they refuse to help bc i didnt continue ysing them before. That is a joke. If u have a practice u should do what is needed. They are the ones that did the work that now has a problem but will not fix it.
