Our family has been going to this dental office for 30 years (from when it was originally owned by Dr. Tom Bell). Our hygienist, Ruth, has been with us all of the way; she still works at the current office. What more can be said, than that we trusted them with the care of our children from toddler to adulthood, and weve never even considered going to anyone else. All that we have ever experienced from Family Comprehensive and Cosmetic has been sound dentistry, professionalism and great people skills. Id say that theyre stuck with us! 😉

I absolutely LOVED my experience at the DENTIST! Everyone and everything was great, I can actually say I WANT to go to the dentist! My only problem is that I have quite a bit of dental work to get done and so far my appointments are scheduled 2-3 months after my current visit. Its going to take forever and this pace. I understand that Im not their only patient but I have waited so long to have my horrible smile fixed due to no insurance and now that I am able to get the work done, 2- 3 months wait time between visits is frustrating. I dont recall ever having to wait so long between appointments. I dont want to go anywhere else because as I said, I was extremely impressed by Dr. Ambrose and the fact that he even called to check on me after the extractions I had done. Please try to get my teeth fixed soon! Ive waited close to 30 years of messed up front teeth and cant smile. Im ready to get my life back so I can smile without embarrassment. They really are a great team and I I would highly recommend them to everyone!

Great dentist office. They’ve been keeping my teeth in good working order for close to 25 years. The dentists, hygienists, assistants, and rest of the team are always friendly and helpful.

I absolutely had an amazing visit at this practice. The staff and Dr. Covert and his assistant Chris L were wonderful! I had an abscess and they walked me through everything and kept my anxiety at bay. I am bringing my whole family to this practice. God Bless them!

I was referred to them by a coworker and I am so glad I took her advice! I have loved my experience from my first visit my most recent. The staff is friendly and caring and take the time to break everything down and answer all of your questions and put together treatment plans to work with your budget that breaks everything down for you. I had a tooth extracted and Dr. Ambrose called me later that evening himself to check on me. I have NEVER had a dentist do that and I was super impressed. I would 10/10 recommend.

I recommend this place to anyone who asks me. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. They make you feel like they actually care about you and your dental health! They keep you informed about everything that is happening and they will work with you on breaking up appointments if you can’t afford everything at once. Hands down best dentist in Jacksonville.

I will not go to another dentist! I started going to see Dr. Ambrose about a year ago when i was having a problem with a tooth. He took all the fear out of the visit, listened to me and explained all my options. He took the time to answer all my questions, and also unlike many Doctors was took my budget concerns into consideration. The staff is also outstanding Ruth is great and very efficient. Marissa is outstanding she never is rushed when i have a question and is very calming during procedures. She is also very supportive of the rest of the staff and has a great attitude. The office in general is professional but they treat you like a friend not a patient.

Ive never been excited about going to the dentist till I started coming here, everyone is nice and helpful. Had cleanings and wisdom teeth removal done, it was quick and painless!

I love this dentist they’re almost always right on time if not early for your appointment. I adore all the employees no matter if it’s the actual dentists or dental assistants or front desk staff everyone I have encountered in this office was very polite and were able to answer any questions. And if u end up having an emergency they’re very quick to get you in and taken care of.

Awesome! Awesome experience. As I sit here currently my son is getting his teeth cleaned and actually enjoying it. His dental assistant was very gentle to our request and informing him of all of what she was going to do which really settled my sons nerves. The dentist was very nice and welcoming being that it was first time Im thankful we found this place after having previous experience with not so gentle or nice(almost traumatic) dental experience!Also they have very modern technolog and the decor in the office is very nice and clean!Sincerly,A very happy and elated mother

Amazing!!!!! Everyone is so friendly and weve never been there more than an hour. Highly recommend then to anyone. Our daughter had her first appt at 18 months had a cleaning etc and she loves them.

I HATE going to the dentist and I could not have had a better experience with them today. I do a lot of research and go above and beyond for my oral hygiene (but sometimes the internet can be information overload) and both my dentist and my hygienist took the time to answer all of my questions. The staff was incredibly nice, professional, and informative with everything that they were doing. This is a very high-tech office that I felt like had more resources than any office I had been to before, making my experience that much more informative. They also were able to fit me in within the same week of trying to schedule my appointment! I used to have to book at least three weeks out. For my first visit they gave me a free sonicare toothbrush ($150 value) with the new patient coupon I received in the mail. They truly put their patients first, I could not recommend them enough!

I actually look forward to visiting this office! Everyone is very kind and professional and theyre great with children.
