Amazing educational experience for students looking for a career in dental assisting. Instructors are highly experienced and lots of fun to be around. This is not your cookie cutter national brand mass market type school. You only find a genuine legit experience at FIDA.

The instructor Mrs. Debbie is an amazing instructor and has the experience to not only get you working in the dental office but she makes sure you are well prepared and qualified so that your resume stands out from all the other applicants. After completion of the program, I applied to several dental offices and had many amazing offers, ended up getting into ortho and started off making the same hourly wage as their lead DA! If you’re looking to get into the dental field and graduate KNOWING what you’re doing, this is your best option!! No instructor will care as much as she does, she puts in all the time needed and then some. So glad I signed up and even more glad I was blessed to have her as an instructor.

I can not say enough good things about Debbie Sanders! She was my instructor at Practical Dental Assisting of Virginia Beach. She is dedicated to her students and their future and is incredibly compassionate! Thanks to her I was able to complete my training in 6 months, get my radiology and infection control national certifications, get an externship at a wonderful dental office, only to be hired on two weeks into it! Without her I do not think I could have done it and I am beyond thankful for everything she has done for me! I recommend Debbie and her school to anyone who is looking to get into the wonderful career of dentistry!

Having gone through this dental assisting program I now possess effective communication skills, I also have learned the business side of dentistry including computer software that is pretty common in todays office which is Dentrix.
