I used to frown at the idea of seeing a counselor. I felt I didn’t need it. Dr. James is NOT your average counselor. She is amazing. Every time I set foot in her office I am immediately at peace. I am able to talk with her comfortably and with no fear or shame. Dr. James actually listens to you and helps you to be a better more productive version of yourself. I went in not expecting much but now I look forward to my session with her every week. She has help me in ways I never thought possible and I will forever be grateful for the help she has given me. If you are looking for a great counselor, one who does not judge but one who gives you the tools you need to live a healthy fulfilling life, Dr. James is the one you need to see.

She is AMAZING! Unlike most counselors I have been to, she will not and does not try to refer you out to receive meds. She stands firm on the Word of God. I love how as I process things and ask for guidance in a biblical sense, she is able to guide off His word. She is also super patient and not pushy about time. I would recommend Dr. Gail James to anyone.

Dr James is an ideal therapist that listens. She has always had an optimistic outlook and a strong belief in personal & professional growth. She is warm, encouraging and empathetic. Her treatment plan will help you achieve goals you both agree on.

Dr. James is the most wonderful person Ive ever met in my life. Ever since I started therapy sessions with her, I have REALLY and TRULY feel and seen a big difference with my life. From the very first day I met Dr. Gail, I am tremendously grateful for all that shes done(and still doing) to assist me in my recovery from PTSD, anxiety, & depression Ive experienced since my car accidents. She has even helped me to evaluate, identity, and face some of the toughest traumas(I never dealt with) that have happened early on in my life. With her, I feel safe to be vulnerable, broken, & confused(out of control even) in order to be a better, stronger, & overall sound me. By helping me to identify my strengths, available resources/support already in my life, & simple tools/activities that I can use/do, Dr Gail is walking me through until I can walk on my own. I cant fully express how blessed I am to have met her... She truly has a hurt to help people & her love is felt in ever session. My life will forever be changed!Thank you Dr. Gail!
