The nurse that cleaned my daughters teeth was AMAZING! All the ladies that work there are great. I would recommend this dental place to anyone.

I hated the dentist. I have multiple teeth issues due to poor dentists, parents neglecting to help or teach me correct dental hygiene, and poor dental experiences in the past. I am paying for it big time now at only 20 years old. I’m extremely embarrassed of my teeth, but I knew I had to go. I came here and I LOVED the way that I was treated. I wasn’t judged, and Cherokee made me feel extremely comfortable- She’s absolutely amazing. I’m moving soon and seriously wished I could move them and their office with me.Unfortunately, after a phone call I received today from Melissa, my dental anxiety is back to an all time high and I’m now glad I’m moving. I was made to feel disgusting for the condition of my teeth, stupid as if I didn’t understand anything that was going on in my own mouth, and spoken to with zero understanding or care.I really hate to leave this review, because everyone else at this office was so understanding. It only takes one person to ruin the whole experience though, and it’s unfortunate this persons job is the face of the business as she represents them when she takes and makes phone calls.

One of the nicest Dentist offices I have been in. They get you in in a timely manner. Its very serene and quiet honestly I have never seen a child there lol.Im sure they are welcome. This is a wonderful office. I will start by saying I hate the dentist, but if you have to go to one this is the office you want. The office is a beautiful converted house located next to a sweet little grove of trees with a stream running through it. Looks like a spa instead of a dentist. The inside is serene and impeccably clean. They have couches and even a changing station in their bathroom for infants. The staff is friendly and professional and does everything to be accommodating. I get a lot of anxiety about being in the chair, but they walked me through everything and talked to me step by step. I felt very heard and listened to. I definitely will be coming back!

They are the best dentist office in town. The staff is always friendly, helpful and will do whatever they can to help you. I have been there for 24 year and they are like family 💙

Jackie, the dental hygienist helping me maintain my dental health, has made all the difference for me. I feel a sense of partnership in my efforts. The facility is very comfortable and the staff is outgoing, inviting, caring, and experts in their fields. Going to the dentist can be a harrowing experience, but not here. I always know I am going to get the best care and given detailed explanations for exactly any issues I have. Highly recommended.

I’ve gone to the same dentist since I 4 years old. Switching doctors and dentists after moving away from my lifelong home for almost 30 years was scary to say the least. My dentist referred me to Dr.Armstrong. It was nerve wracking but I made the switch. I had my appointment today with Jackie, a hygienist and, Dr.Armstrong. As soon as I walked in, I felt at home. The resemblance between this office and my lifelong dentist office was amazing. Everyone is SO sweet and their bedside manner is amazing! I am SO happy with my decision to switch and not drive 4.5 hours for my biannual cleanings any longer. Their knowledge is top notch and so is their technology. I am very pleased with this decision and I encourage anyone with high anxiety and switching dentists, to give them a try! I cannot say enough great things about them!

First appointment for myself today and I was blown away by how friendly and thorough the office is! I have taken my kids here already and had great experiences then also. My boys are on the Autism Spectrum and struggle with the dentist typically, but they were all smiles after their cleanings, and were especially excited about seeing the therapy dog, Tess! 🥰 Highly recommend!

Hope y’all like reading because I have a lot to say about this amazing establishment. First off, when I walk to the staircase I feel my heart rate lower as I gaze upon our Old Glory placed correctly on the left side of the entrance. When entering the Armstrong & Tant Dentist office I am always greeted by a professional and polite staff. I often feel as if I’ve entered my own home. In other words, “ I feel the love”. When I’m called back to get my chompers cleaned I feel confident that it’s going to be done thoroughly and correctly. My dental hygienist, who I will not mention by name is one of the most personal and interactive people I’ve ever met. She truly cares about the patient she is working with and their families. I can’t be completely selfish, her name starts with a J and ends with an “ackie”. She has been a part of my family’s lives for several years and always asked how they are doing. If you like clean teeth, fresh breath, a lot of love, and a dash of laughter than this is the place for you. If you don’t get your teeth worked on here you might as well join ISIS or some kind of cult, because we don’t need some soup sandwich eating, oxygen thieving, communists stinking up the joint. Several weeks after a routine cleaning appointment I received a $100+ bill for an additional examination that was not covered by insurance. I was not asked if I wanted this additional service, it was just an unpleasant surprise bill in the mail. Adding services that are not covered by insurance without patient consent is an unacceptable practice.

I absolutely love this office! The doctors and staff are knowledgeable and kind! It’s a negative free environment! I highly recommend this office to anyone needing dental care!

I was way overdue for a cleaning and extremely nervous about going in. Not only did I want any bad news, but was a little afraid of being judged for being overdue. The staff was amazing and friendly and I felt so comfortable the entire time! They addressed every concern I had and helped me find solutions as well. Like most people, I was never excited about a dentist visit. Tant and Armstrong have changed my way of thinking. I truly look forward to my twice a year cleanings and I have also had a crown installed by Dr Armstrong. All work is outstanding, the hygienists are all wonderful, professional, and friendly. And Dr Armstrong is THE best dentist I have been to in my life (I’m 55). Great job to the entire practice!

This practice was able to schedule an emergency visit, and provide the evaluation needed for a root canal. Clean office,friendly, professional Drs and staff.

I had to be numbed for my procedure. I do not like needles. They are professional, educating me along the way. During times of stress (needle/numbing) they coached me and assured me things are going great. Occasionally, checked to see if I was breathing lol I’m a big baby. In the end, my teeth are super clean and I appreciate their patience. Staff at front desk was super nice as well. I’m thankful I found an awesome Dentist!

Amazing!! Dr. Armstrong is by far the best dentist in Jacksonville! We are a military family, with three children. When we first moved to Jacksonville our daughter had very bad dental due to living in Hawaii and them not doing proper x-rays due to her young age. Dr. Armstrong and her staff completely welcomed us and helped our daughter very quickly. We have been stationed here for five years and are moving to New York very soon. We will definitely miss the service, thoughtfulness and excellent work that her office has provided for our family. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I’ve been going to this dental office since I was 13 and I’ve never had an issue. This is one of the best dental offices of Jacksonville so if you’re hesitant I would definitely look into them and check them out. Very clean and nice team.

Absolutely love this office! I’ve been seeing Dr.Tant since 2010. The staff is absolutely amazing. My son had to get a cavity filled and was a little nervous beforehand. Our dental assistant Brittany went above and beyond to make sure that he was comfortable and to answer any questions/concerns about the procedure. Dr.Tant and Brittany made us feel like a member of their family and not just a patient.

Great dental visit this morning. Very through in my oral exam and teeth cleaning. Will be back in both February and junes appointments. I thought they were awesome! Best experience Ive had at a doctors ever. I called them around 9 or so in the morning after 2 nights of nearly no sleep because my wisdom teeth were just killing me. I explained everything I was experiencing from pain, to swelling in my neck and jaw and they scheduled me to come in the same morning at 11. I got there and they were very helpful, prompt and thorough in their explanations. The whole thing from immediate consultation, to the xrays and then the follow up was affordable (Im pretty poor, so theres that) and just so fast, I cant even relate how much I appreciated it. They got me scheduled for surgery the next morning, gave me my scripts and sent me on my way. They were all very nice and I look forward to going back whenever I need more work done!

I began using her as my dentist in 1998, since moved out of state, and to this day I and my husband fly from Florida for her dental care. State of the art equipment, always using cutting edge dental practice. My dental care is challenging, but never for Dr. Armstrong and her staff. From your first visit to billing, you’ll walk away with a confident smile.

My visit today went well with Jessica and Dr Armstrong. Jessica did my cleaning. She has the hands of a hygienist that you would prefer to do your cleaning. So gentle and very clean.

I dont think anyone looks forward to visiting their dentist but having said that, if you gotta go you gotta go. Armstrong and Tant go the extra mile to make sure you are as comfortable as possible. I have never felt any shots which is always scary when you see that needle approaching your mouth. They always say open wide while you are sitting there with your lips sealed together, your hands are clenched to the chair never to be prised open and your legs are crossed so tightly they will need a crow bar to get them apart. Anyway that is how I feel but they all have the best personalities, happy dispositions, informative and professional. I highly recommend them to everyone. My husband and I have been going to Dr. Armstrong ever since she opened their doors. They also have the latest equipment and services available which is a comforting. They have a beautiful office with comfortable accommodations.
