In all my years i have never experienced the superb medical professionalism that this fine organization provides. start to finish they are great.

I have a great working knowledge of prostate cancer treatment, having been a Radiation Oncologist and prostate cancer specialist myself for 40 years and having watched the treatment techniques mature over the decades. I now am on the receiving end of treatment for prostate cancer, and have access to myriad treatment options. For me, the best balance of side effects with best chance of cure involves a combination of external-beam therapy + seed implant, assisted by some short-term hormones. With that in mind, I chose the Terk Oncology center for my treatment, as they have the best experience in these modality combinations of anyone in the southeastern United States.I today finished my external-beam treatment, and am pleased to report that my expectations were met fully: I received outstanding compassionate and timely treatment from everyone at the center from the doctors and radiation therapy techs, to the nurses, dosimetrists, and front office personnel. I highly recommend Terk Oncology. There is NO place better... Bravo, team!

Everyone from the front desk to the technicians to the medical staff treats the patients with dignity and respect. They make an uncomfortable situation very bearable. I cannot praise them enough for their professionalism. I would highly recommend Terk Oncology.

After having finished my prostate cancer treatments at Terk Oncology, I certainly feel like I made the right choice for doctors and staff. A medical group, like a chain, is only as good as its weakest link. I have confidence in every link in the chain at Terk Oncology. It does not do any good if your doctor prescribes a treatment and the staff fails to properly carry the treatment out. Anyone can rest assured that every staff member does an excellent job.

It didnt take long to realize this office was on a mission to heal. Without exception, every staff member was knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant. These are dedicated healers starting with the Docs and including the PA, front desk and especially all the back end technicians.

I decided to make the drive round trip from St Augustine to be treated at Terk Oncology for 9 weeks. The welcoming, warm, personable, professional, efficient staff showed I made without a doubt the best choice from day one. It was well worth the commute.

I finished treatment 1 week before Christmas and I can only add to Daryls great comments. They provide you with a great deal of info and list of research papers before you start treatment. Everyone treats you with respect and no question is to stupid to ask. They never try to rush you through treatment even those patients with disabilities. They take Covid precautions seriously. Restrooms are spotless. I have no hesitation recommend Terk Oncology to everyone.

The staff, from Dr. Terk, to the receptionist and office staff, to the radiation therapists made what otherwise is an intimidating and somewhat unpleasant experience not only bearable but pleasant. The Doctors, Radiation Therapists and Staff are the most caring and great people I have ever come in contact with. Extremely Professional, and often times very funny. They all made my experience there WONDERFUL!! I was really glad to get through my radiation treatments but the only down side is that I wont see them anymore on a daily basis. I will definitely miss them, but I will stop in to see them on occasion. Theyve become a permanent part of my friends and family. Dr Cesaretti is always upbeat and no question goes unanswered. He will point you to more details on any subject. The entire staff was great and you were greeted by Ava daily who kept the place running smoothly. I was apprehensive about going to this place, but once I started the young lady at the front desk (Ava) was so welcoming that it put me at ease. The rest of the staff was always upbeat and personable; the nurses and the technicians...they are very professional. Great job Terk Oncology!!!

Every one at Terk oncology greets you with a smile and values your time. If there is a problem they will inform you up front and will come up with options to fit your needs.I needed a treatment real early to fit in to MY plans and they made it work.You are always greeted by name after the first visit. The reception staff is awesome, friendly and professional. Mask were required the whole time I was here as well as temperature checks on every visit. Social distancing was maintained in the lobby.The have come up with a system that minimizes your time there without making you feel like they are pushing you.I cant brag enough about the Radiation Therapist and their ability to answer questions and referral to a Doctor when asked.I was seen at least once a week by one of the staff doctors and Dr Terk on the first visit. He stated first Im going to explain everything then Im here for as long as you need me to answer questions.Thank you TERK Oncology for making a stressful experience bearable.

Very positive and confidence building experience. Dr Cesaretti is down to earth Doctor who spent time explaining the procedure leaving me feeling that I was in his and his staff’s good care. I believe Terk Oncology must be the gold standard for prostate cancer treatment. There is not one thing about my treatment program that I would change. From day-one, the doctors and staff were outstanding. Consistently, they made me feel I was their most important patient. Overhearing conversations in the waiting room led me to believe just about every other patient believed they were treated the same way. At the beginning Dr. Terk gave me the best briefing Ive ever gotten from a medical professional. He spent about 45 minutes discussing my case and outlining the treatment plan. He sought questions from me and answered them fully and to my total satisfaction. Each doctor who met me weekly to review my treatment progress consistently showed a concern for my well-being and responded thoroughly to my questions or concerns. The radiation therapists -- Lindsey, David, Jason, Jerome, Angel, Melanie, Erin, Holly, and Kara -- were so professional and courteous. I dont believe they could have made the actual radiation sessions any more pleasant. They were simply outstanding. Always a smile and a cheerful greeting. Terk Oncology is excellence personified! Kudos to a superb team! I came to Doctor Terk for help with prostate cancer and was treated as part of a family; instead of a number. I am a firm believer that a great company, operation, service, team, etc. starts at the top. Terk Oncology is that great model. Dr. Terk patiently discussed essential medical concerns with me. He then gave me a concise overview of how the procedure would be administered. His doctors followed up weekly. They were just as patient, kind and informative. The nurses were courteous, warm and caring. The technicians are well trained and confident! They know exactly what they are doing. You are greeted by name and they allow a friendship to develop. Compassionate care is provided throughout the procedure. Questions? They will answer any question within their expertise or aggressively send you to a doctor for an answer (LOL - I had an inquisitive question, pure curiosity, and Hope (maybe Kara) was adamant that I should ask a doctor - I declined.) The administrative staff were personable as well. Each member knew me by name and greeted me each day with a warm hello. The entire environment at Terk Oncology is warm and family friendly. So much so, we patients easily interacted awaiting our therapy. Oh, scheduling was very accommodating. They are concerned about your schedule as well! PROFESSIONAL! They are a professional team; not because of their chosen field earning a wage; it is the QUALITY they provide!!!

For every mountain there is a miracle, and through my humbling experience at Terk Oncology, I learned there is a can in cancer. When I learned of my bout with prostate cancer, I faced the greatest fear of my life. The staff and support personnel at Terk Oncology proved that not all heroes wear capes. My initial visit with Dr. Terk eased my overwhelming feelings of uncertainty. Once I started my nine-week journey to eradicating this illness from my body, I soon developed a new family of friendly friends. The entire team at Terk Oncology is nothing short of phenomenal! In my life time, I have never met a more caring and uplifting group of professionals, all assembled in one building.

Im sure the staff made everyone feel special but they really made me feel special and welcomed. When I found out that I had cancer, the first thing that went in my mind was now what happens. I had an appointment with Dr. Terk, and he took the time to explain what I had and how we were going to treat it. He took the time to answer all questions my wife and I had and was able to explain it so we both understood what was going to happen. The Staff is excellent, they make a somewhat uncomfortable procedure as pleasant as they can. They do care how you are doing, and the whole 9 week treatment has been a positive experience. While I do not wish anyone to have cancer, these people are the best ones to go to and have it treated.

The Doctors and Staff at Terk Oncology were all great. They made the experience of treating me for my problem seem like I was being treated by a very professional and caring family of practitioners. I had to go there every week day for 25 days and they were always on time with my treatment and I was greeted by warm, friendly and caring staff. The snacks and drinks (non-alcoholic) that they offer patients and their guests while in the waiting room are great! I always grabbed one or two for the ride home. I could not be happier with the treatment and care that I was given while there. I feel like the results will be very successful for many years to come.

I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. The following seconds was the loudest silence Ive ever heard. The who, why, where, when, how...what...what...WHAT??? Then reality set in. What do I do now? My doctor and I discussed options then he set an appointment for Terk Oncology. I arrived at Terk Oncology and the reception desk was directly across from the entrance. The office staff was friendly, courteous and funny. The waiting room is surrounded with large windows so you dont feel confined. I saw all the awards on the wall that put my mind at ease. I saw the large and very comfortable ( I need one of these for my house) chairs. I couldnt get too comfortable because the radiation techs were calling to escort me for my treatment. The techs are all professional, informative, knowledgeable and just outstanding people. They really put you at ease. The doctors are outstanding, calm and deserve every award on the walls. They talk to you without talking at you and you know that they care. Terk Oncology definitely treats the mind (calming the silence), the body (treatments) and the spirit (confidence in the staff). I was diagnosed with cancer. Terk Oncology was the best decision.

Aside from the first rate equipment which a patient expects, the doctors and radiation support staff “humanized” my eight-week experience. Their warmth (along with a fantastic sense of humor) encouragement, and understanding throughout is a credit to the medical profession. Especially impressive was that the receptionists and support radiation technicians consistently recognized me by sight after the first visit!

Prayers do get answered. This is a great group of caring professionals. Its almost sad when your treatment ends because it almost seems like your leaving family. The Therapists are the best and the other patients are great to engage in conversation because we are all here for the same reason. I feel blessed that I had my treatment at this place.

Everyone at Terk are very helpful and generally nice people. This is a great organization to deal with prostate cancer. I am very happy I went there for treatment.

From day one of a 10 week treatment program, the staff, technicians and doctors ensured I well informed of all actions pertaining to my treatment. Everyone was friendly and ensured I was comfortable during the whole process. They ensured my well-being was #1.

The entire staff, facility and organization were excellent. By its nature the treatments could have been embarrassing; however, the staff did a great job to make me comfortable. Also, the waiting area layout and staff made everyone feel comfortable. I made some friends there while waiting, enjoying snacks, and sharing experiences.

The most professional, courteous, and compassionate doctors office or clinic I have visited in 67 years of my life. They are number one and the best among the best.

The staff was always professional and they took correction beautifully. From listening to staff conversations they joked together and poked good natured fun at each other. They made a potentially stressful situation almost fun.

If youre having a bad day, Avery, the cute young girl at the front desk is so bubbly and cheerful you cant help but change your outlook for the day to one of brightness and cheer. The office staff and especially theTech staff is beyond any medical staff Ive ever encountered, the feeling that you are the only person at this wonderful facility you have their full attention. I wanted to write a review to say I am very thankful for the care I was given at Terk Oncology. I am not one of those people to view the internet for the way(s) any issue (Prostate Cancer) is treated but I truly believe I was given the best treatments by the best people in Jacksonville. I cannot say enough about the radiation therapists and staff at Terk Oncology. They became more like family. Each one of the individuals I saw each day are some of the kindest, caring and respectful people I have ever meet in a doctors office. They all deserve five stars each. I finished my 30 treatment protocol a week ago. I cannot say enough good things about the whole experience. Everything from the initial meeting with Dr. Cesaretti to the final radiation treatment was not only professional, but done with compassion, respect and friendliness. Special thanks go to the whole team of radiation therapists who I consider friends after the daily interaction over several weeks. I experienced almost no side effects throughout the process, and continue to feel well a week after. I surely am healthier than when this started, and am deeply grateful to Terk for their expertise.

After hearing about other forms of treatment for prostate cancer (surgery, proton therapy), I decided that radiation treatment with imaging was the best choice for me. I was attracted to this method because it is non evasive with very minimal side effects. The only downside for me was that it required 48 sessions to complete. The staff was very helpful and the physicians were available with comments on how I was progressing and were ready to answer any questions I might have. Overall I was very satisfied.

After doing my homework I concluded that Terk Oncology might be my best option for my treatment. I could not have made a better decision. They could not have been better. The doctors are outstanding and the technicians and staff are incredible. Everyone there is knowledgeable, efficient, concerned, and extremely pleasant and friendly. I feel very fortunate that I was treated at Terk Oncology.

Dr. Cesaretti and his staff are are terrific. The staff are very welcoming and personable. They display just the right combination of compassion and reassurance. I especially would like to thank Angel and David and Jason and Kara. I was relieved when my treatments were completed, but really felt a little lost. Many times we meet strangers in stressful situations and bond with them immediately. That was how I felt about the therapists at Turk. On the last day the Certificate, special music and send off were a very nice touch.

Hands down the most amazing doctors office I have ever come into contact with!!! I lost my mother in June to cancer and my father was diagnosed 3 mos later with prostate cancer. As devastating as the situation was, Dr Terk and his staff have made the process so much easier. Everyone in the office is always friendly and they all go above and beyond to make each patient feel special. The comfy chairs and yummy snacks are a nice additive. I would highly recommend this office to anyone! Thank you Dr Terk and staff!! You guys are amazing!!!

Finished the last of 45 treatments this morning. I recommend anyone looking for treatment for prostate cancer have a consult at Terk Oncology before making a decision. I believe I have received treatment that will give me the greatest chance for the best possible outcome. The entire staff was great,not just professional, but warm and friendly. Facing nine weeks of daily radiation therapy is a daunting prospect for anyone. However, the excellent staff at Terk Oncology make every effort to make the process efficient and tolerable. From the pleasant, smiling reception staff who greet each patient by name at check-in, to the complementary snacks and soft drinks in the reception area, and the friend!y and efficient radiation therapy staff, they routinely get patients in, treated and on their way in a minimum amount of time. I Roosevelt Marell started my radiation treatments on the Twenty third of October, and completed treatment on January 13th. My experience with the doctors and staff was very cordial and friendly. The doctors explained all of the treatments and procedures, and the possible side effects. The receptionist was very cheerful and accommodating. My initial thoughts were, I have this issue to deal with and having to drive for 45 minutes to an hour each way, I must say I was not very happy. However, after several days, I became very at ease and took notice at how the staff was responding to my presence. I almost forgot why I was coming there. It got to the point that I looked forward to seeing everyone knowing that they had my best interest in mind. The doctors there are very reassuring and the staff is more than accommodating. They really take pride in the services they provide.

Ive never met a finer group of professional people. Their friendly faces and smiles were something I looked forward to every afternoon. I always felt like I was their first patient of the day.I was always treated as a person not a time or number. The efficiency that the staff operated at was amazing. I would not let any of my family go any where else. At the end of my 10 weeks of treatment, I feel sad to leave. It was like leaving on a jet plane and never coming back. A big thank you to all the staff.

Just finished my radiation treatments at Terk and Ive been so pleased and encouraged by the very professional, thoughtful and engaging staff. I learn more about prostate cancer from them than I would have ever wanted to know, however this knowledge has made me confident that I choose the right treatment protocol and Terk was exactly the right place for my treatments. They care about how we are doing as we go through the treatment , and make this experience as easy as they can. I also love the treats we can pick up on our way out!
