The acupuncture its self is very good for you and this community aspect makes it affordable, but the facility is trash. In the middle of the ghetto with obvious mold problems. It is slap in the middle of a very sketchy part of murray hill (westside Jax) and many weirdos walk in off the street while you are at youre most vunerable. Why because you are laying down with needles all over, the entrance is in the front, treatment area in the middle and the office in the back.The thing that screams mold problems if the giant dehumidifier near the back. Not only is this terrible to be in the same room with, so is mold especially when you are trying to heal. very disappointed and will not return. I feel bad for the people who do not know any better.

I absolutely love this place. Ronnie is so awesome to work with. He is kind, wants to know how Im doing, and takes time to answer any questions. Also, acupuncture has been a life change for me.

Wow, what a great experience. The space is set up like a sanctuary for relaxation allowing the space for multiple people to receive acupuncture treatment. The pricing is based on a sliding scale for this reason. We need more places set up like this, with the patient in mind. Because it is so affordable it allows for almost anyone to receive on-going treatment. Ronnie and his staff are warm, welcoming and accomodating. I will be back!

I went here this afternoon and it was wonderful! The facility is very clean and quiet. They have very comfortable chairs and use essential oil diffusers and Himalayan salt lamps. The low light setting and relaxing music are perfect. I tried acupuncture for the first time (they also offer massage) and it was very therapeutic! I highly recommend both acupuncture therapy and this facility itself! You chose what you pay based off of your income (no need for you to bring proof they just have a chart to go off of) I’d give 10 stars if I could!

This place is fantastic! Ronnie is an adept acupuncture technician. However, my favorite aspect is the meditation time and relaxation that I get. Its fantastic. Such a gift!

Besides being knowledgeable,considerate, helpful and skillful, Kendra and Ronnie, the owners of Bow Acupuncture are nice people. They each their own style and I cant say I prefer one to the other, they are just different. Having community acupuncture locally available in the Riverside/ Avondale area is a real plus for the area. Community Acupuncture is a great way to continue to have acupuncture treatments that are affordable as well! I can really feel the beneficial difference after the treatments. Since the treatments are done is a group treatment room (dont worry there is plenty of space and privacy) there is no pressure to leave- so you can even take a nap! The office and treatment area is uncluttered, peaceful and comfortable. (also clean :) The sliding scale plan is fair as well. One thing I really like too is the ability to go online and snap up an appointment at the last minute if there is time in the schedule. I love seeing what time slots are available and making my own appointment. I am finding myself wishing it was so easy to make an appointment with other health professionals and even my dogs vet!

Elizabeth is the real deal as far as massage goes! The best deep tissue/trigger point massage including cupping and hot stone modalities. I will be a regular. Shes not afraid to get in there, and I needed it!

Divine timing/guidance led me here! One of my coworkers told me about this place because she knows I rarely do any self care for myself. Hours after she told me about them, I strained a muscle working (Im a massage therapist). It felt like it was about to snap and was inflamed. I went to the ER and the Dr noted the strain and prescribed muscle relaxers (which I didnt take). I iced my arm until the swelling was down and booked an appointment at The Bow.This was my first time getting acupuncture and it was an interesting setting. Though the actual decor was simple (recliner chairs stationed a bit a way from each other, in a dim room, with sheets covering it, it seemed so futuristic lol. It reminded me of the scene in Inception when they went to the guy to get a sleeping compound and all the people were there in their dreams.The intake process was really easy and the woman who acted as receptionist was very pleasant and fit the environment. She added to the excitement of trying something new instead of making it questionable.The acupuncturist Ronnie was awesome. He had this really cool vibe like if Bob Ross just hung out at the Beach all day. He hit the needles in all the right places it seemed. None of them hurt, but there were a few that I could feel, not surprising those were the areas I had issues with. I thought that it would be uncomfortable laying back in a recliner with needles stuck in me for 70 mins but I was out like a light. I was waking up and it was time to go, before I knew it. It felt like the most rejuvenating sleep I could remember. Besides feeling rejuvenated I couldnt tell much of a difference right after the session but the next day the muscles in my arms were considerably more lose which was my main complaint.Ronnies model is to make it affordable enough to do it multiple times a week so I hope to try it on a continuous basis to see what effect it might have, long term.

I first learned of The Bow a couple of months ago when I began searching for acupuncture in the areas. After reading the Google reviews, I knew I was making the right choice in going to The Bow for my first experience with acupuncture. I have mild scoliosis and osteoarthritis from my cervical spine to my lumbar area, so I live with chronic pain daily. In addition to that, my neck and shoulders are always tight and tense which exacerbates my migraines/headaches. Ronnie is amazing and has a kind welcoming spirit. He takes the time each visit to find out what issue is troubling me and focuses on that. Last week, I booked my first massage with Elizabeth. All I can say is that she has magic hands! After YEARS of back pain and headaches unresolved, only masked, by pain and anti-inflammatory medications; Elizabeth gave me the best massage Ive ever had! The massage was inclusive of hot stone and cupping therapy at no additional charge and the sliding fee scale is truly a blessing! Needless to say, its only been four days, but I havent been pain-free for four days in several years!!! I have referred a good friend and a co-worker to Elizabeth and Ronnie and will continue to refer as many more as I possibly can. The Bow is a godsend! As long as they are around, I see no reason to go anywhere else!

Love this place. I do feel better after the acupuncture. My sciatica nerve was causing me tremendous pain. After two episodes of going from fine to crippled with pain I decided to give acupuncture a try. Ronnie was great and Ill be going back for more treatments.

Words cannot express how much Acupuncture has helped me. I am in a lot of pain all over. I took a friend to acupuncture one day and Kendra and my friend asked me would I like to try it! What a wonderful place! Bow Acupuncture really fills a need in the community and I am so thankful that I found them. Both Kendra and Ronnie are masters at what they do. I would recommend them to friends and family to handle their aliments without medications. I initially sought out Bow to help with insomnia, I have never been listened too and treated with such care in any other medical setting. I can not recommend this place enough.

This is the first place Ive been to try acupuncture, and I couldnt have picked a better place. I went a couple of times over a year ago when they were in their old location.Recently, I had some neck and shoulder pain that was getting worse. I happened to drive by the new location, and decided to make an appointment. Ive been twice so far, and there is a noticable improvement in the pain.Ronnie is professional and friendly. He remembers exactly what we were talking about the previous visit. For the price you cant beat this place.Make an appointment, you wont regret it.

Immediate relief! I have had acupuncture in the past, and it too several treatments to receive relief. I developed Tendonitis in my thumbs, and pain escalated overnight. I thought I was going to have to seek out a surgeon, and steroids or injections, ..... and remembered acupuncture, but it was friday night! Saw this place and that it was actually open saturday, AND I could get in!. Very comfortable, Both Kendra and Ronnie are easy to talk to and they know exactly what to do. I was shocked that when I left, my pain wasnt severe!, Just one treatment and noticeable results. They have varied days with varied hours of operation to try to get you in and get feeling better. Easiest website to schedule appointments. I sew for a living and they have been a great help in my finishing jobs and now slow down to recover. Cant say enough about them!
