I had previously had an IUD placed at another gynecologist. They had done a terrible job and cut the strings so short that they were stabbing and causing my boyfriend to bleed during intercourse. I switched to Dr. Rodriguez and it was the best decision I have ever made. He is very kind and patient. Furthermore, he took the time to explain to me every step of the process. I was terrified of removing and replacing my IUD after my first experience, but with him it was painless.

He did emergency surgery on me and made me feel very comfortable and not scared at all. The next morning he checked on me and (surgery was around 11 pm and 12 am) explained what had happened and answered all my questions. For the follow up visit, he saw me right on schedule and again answer all my questions, I did not feel rushed.

I really truly loved Dr. Rodriguez. This was my second birth, my first was with a midwife, so I was a bit apprehensive about having a male doctor. Dr. Rodriguez was so chill and relaxed, and made me feel so comfortable. The nurses were pretty amazing too. If I arrived early for my apt. the Doc would see me early, which was awesome as well. The Doc had a problem with his child and was in the er at the time that I was giving birth. He came right in the nick of time to catch my daughter. He brought with him a team of nurses/doctors (I am assuming that they were interns) so, while I was in shock from delivering my baby, they starting talking to the Doc about Oh I like your new Jordans Dr. Rodriguez Oh Dr. Rodriguez - this, Dr. Rodriguez that Hello people, I just gave birth and need a bit of attention, please do not talk to the doctor while my legs, vagina and everything else is exposed.With all that being said, I had the absolute worst experience with his billing lady. She was very rude to me every single time I left. I had a family emergency and had to pay for something out of pocket, so I was late a couple of times making payments. She YELLED at me in front of an entire office filled with patients and staff. I have anxiety, and leading up to every apt I would have terrible panic attacks because I was afraid this lady was going to scream at me and belittle me again. My husband spoke with her supervisor, but that didnt stop the disgusting glares from her. After I paid the last of what I owed, she still tried to say I had not paid and owed her, once again in front of other patients. I recommend firing that lady and hiring someone with a bit of empathy.
