So thankful for this place. I don’t have the heart to leave my dog in an environment where she can’t interact with other dogs or be outside when it’s nice out which is why this was the perfect place for us! The owners here are very friendly and do a great job of making sure the dogs are playing nice. Our pup had a blast and got a lot of energy out during her day care. It’s always great to have a tired dog while traveling! Thank you DJWnW SO much for taking care of Yoki! ❤️

This place is fantastic! We brought our 8 month old lab there for 2 days with 1 overnight and she loved it. It was her first time away from us. She was tired and happy when we picked her up. We brought her back the next day and she pulled us to go back in! We’ll use this business anytime we visit Jackson.

One of the best boarding experiences. After several days in the backcountry, with more planned, we decided to give our dog a break. He seemed to love it! He wasnt stressed when we picked him up, he was thoroughly worn out (they played a LOT of ball with him), and am employee we ran into in the parking lot even remembered his name! Great staff, great place. They even washed his food bowl before we picked him up.

And shy can find do well here, theyve got a great set up for hyper dogs to get it their wiggles and fill dogs to kick back and relax!!!

Uncaring owner who promised to be communicative after hours because we were very nervous to leave our dog here and not even 1 hour after leaving drops off the face of the earth and cannot be reached. Had to wait until the next morning to pick up the dog and she was covered in pee. You have you be crazy to leave your dog here. It was a far cry from the lovely kennel she stayed in just prior on our trip in Montana

I walk in the door and say, Hi Im here with Taj. The first thing an employee says to me is, My dog was attacked by a dog just like that . I had no idea if she worked there or was a customer. Then it becomes apparent she works there and says, I wont go near him. You could clearly tell the other person working was trying to move the conversation forward. At this point my dog was scared and hiding behind me. He never reacts like that when he goes to daycare. He was excited to get out of the car and go in just like all the daycare places he has been to before. His reaction and this womens attitude made me concerned about boarding him there. I cancelled his stay. How am I to know if she would do something mean to him or neglect feeding or giving him water. This was so upsetting. My dog is very friendly to people and all other dogs. Apparently this employee needs to take a lesson from a dog. Now, my trip was planned on hiking in areas I cant bring dogs. So i guess I miss out. Thanks

On our visit to Jackson Hole we had a day out that was not geared towards my fur baby. I took Baby Girl in for day care. The staff was very understanding of my reservation at leaving her and were very kind about my need to watch out the window as they acclimated her into the area. I want to give a shout out to Austin and Emily for being so awesome and accommodating! They also took videos of Baby playing with new friends. A great experience all and all. Thanks again 👍

I left my dog here so I could go hiking in Grand Teton for a day. Service was friendly and efficient, but the place is in a small industrial park, and dogs are in fenced pens on tarmac. It looked a bit depressing. Id be happy to pay more to have a place with a field of grass somewhere. On my return, a wildfire in Jackson shut down the main road and caused a massive traffic jam, which meant I was an hour later than expected, and very panicked. I was hugely thankful that a member of staff stayed late to let people pick up their dogs after closing.

Do not take your dog here!!! I dropped my six year old Alaskan Malamute off for a bath at around 9am. Waited all day to pick him up and NEVER received a phone call. I went back at around 5pm hoping he would be ready, happy, healthy. The front desk worker went in the back to get my dog, Elvis, and came back with Elvis. I was shocked when I saw my dog. He looked sad, in pain, and immideiatly went to hide in the corner. This is very unusual because he is usually so full of energy and so happy. He looked sick and I knew something was wrong. Also, he was still soaking wet!! After a full day at DogJax he was still wet and not taken care of. The car ride home was about 20 minutes where i kept looking back at him, with his bloated stomach and sleepy eyes, I was getting very worried. I got my boy home and he was coughing, drinking water, and his stomach was growing by the minute. He let out the most painful cry I have ever heard. I knew I had to get him to the vet.I put him back in the car and by this time he had been with me for about 45 minutes. He became lifeless but still breathing. I got him to the vet and my suspicions were confirmed. He had TWISTED STOMACH or BLOAT.He went in to surgery with 50/50 chance of surviving. While on the table in the operating room the vet called me in to show me that his spleen and stomach tissue was necrotic from lack of blood flow. The vet told me he had this going on for at least 4-6 hours!!! This happened while my dog was at DogJaxx. Elvis died on September 10th, 2018 just shy of his 7th birthday. My heart will always be broken. While I am not blaming DogJax for causing it….THEY DID NOT RECOGNIZE that something was seriously wrong with my dog. If they had, he could have maybe been saved. He could have had a chance. Two days later I called DogJax to talk to manager to inform them that their staff needs to be educated and Im worried that dogs are being neglected there. I STILL HAVE NOT GOTTEN A PHONECALL BACK FROM A MANAGER! AND MY DOG DIED BECAUSE OF DOGJAX NEGLIGENCE.DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE!

A great place to board your dog while exploring Yellowstone. We left our dog there since most of the trails dont allow pets. Guru, the owner, was very nice. Also, they are priced by 2 hour increments so you dont overpay. And you can pick up on Sunday. Very convenient and easy to work with. Make sure you have your pets vaccination records!

We used DogJax daycare for our dog while we skied at Jackson Hole for a day. Worked well, although I felt our drop-off was a bit rushed. Our dog is a bit timid, but he didnt seem traumatized at the end of the day, just tired. We were impressed that the workers knew him by name when we picked him up.

We were recommended to this place by the lodge we were staying at “The Snow King” the Dog Jax website oversells its capability’s and amenities. They requested our pups vaccine records as well as having you sign off on their policy. We happily did that. The morning I dropped the pups off, my first thought was, “I cannot be at the right location......” I asked for a tour of the facility, I was limited to that access. I could only see an indoor area with kennels and the outside was concrete and dirt. I was assured the pups would be fine and that they will have fun. In short, both pups caught Kennel Cough as they were free roaming with at least 20 other dogs, passing their bowels on the concrete outside. NO GRASS! I called them to let them know of the diagnosis. Encouraging them that they should let the other dog owners know. I was told “you knew the risks” my point was to not argue but for informational purposes. If and when I visit Jackson Hole Wyomimg in the future, my pups will not be staying there.

The staff couldn’t be more attentive or friendly and having him groomed at DogJax is just an added bonus. We can’t say enough good things about them!

I had made a reservation for doggy day care and wanted to switch from Saturday to Sunday. I called to see if the change was okay, it went to voicemail... I never received a call back so I assumed the switch was okay. The guy on the phone when I originally made the reservation was enthusiastic and made it sound like last minute arrangements were okay. I showed up Sunday morning and they said they rejected my day care request, that they don’t do day care and to try Rover. There went my plans to spend the day at the Tetons, the only day I allotted for my time here. Very disappointing.

We were very concerned to leave our dog here in this horrible establishment but before we left we were assured we could get in contact should we want toPick up our pet. Less than 1 hour after we left we sent emails and left voicemails and nothing, no response. Basically after hours at night or on Sunday they will hold your dog hostage and not respond. No answer was provided from the owner on if he received our voicemails or emails. We showed up before the owner arrived the next morning and our dog was covered in pee. And the owner demanded his $24 before even releasing the dog. Unbelievable. You can’t even see the place your dog will stay because you are not allowed in the back for “insurance reasons”. If you are ok leaving your dog hostage in what amounts to a cold & noisy kennel go for it. I would rather sleep in the car with the dog than leave her there one more night.

Dropped my two huskies here for daycare two days in a row so I could explore Grand Teton and it was perfect! One of the things I look for most in a boarding center is how the staff interacts with you and your dogs, and it was clear the staff loves working there! They greeted my dogs with enthusiasm and the facility was large and clean. It was nice seeing them immediately take my dogs out to play with the others in their large playground outside. Ill definitely use this place again next time. Thanks for taking care of my dogs!

Great experience here! We were in Jackson for vacation and needed a place for our dog to spend the day while we did non-dog-friendly activities. I found it very easy to fill out their new dog form on their website and when I called to reserve they were very friendly and welcoming. The experience continued when we arrived for our day of play. Everyone was extremely friendly and kind and we knew our dog was going to be well cared for. I liked the little report card we received at the end of the day - nice touch. Was moving across the country with our 4 dogs and needed to find a boarding place for each night of our trip. Even with such short notice, DogJax was professional, friendly, and accommodating. Our 2 smallest dogs have very little experience in kennels, and tend to get very nervous, but appeared comfortable with the whole experience. All 4 dogs received baths, and came out clean, happy, and seemed sad to go. We were very pleased with everything, and the dogs loved the toy they got to take with them.

My dog loves this place! The people are nice. There are multiple pins for all the dogs to help keep them all safe and happy. The groomer is amazing she managed to make huge gains on my Alaskan malamute who was mid way through his spring shed. She took a month off of his shedding with the hard work she put in. Only reason I gave 4 stars is that over the years my dog has come down with kennel cough twice. All dogs are suppose to have up to date shots and my dog does and still somehow got it. Not sure how to prevent that....

Boarded our pup there during a trip to Jackson Hole. Was asked if we wanted bathing services before we picked her up and was happy to schedule. When we picked her up they seemed confused as to whether she had received a bath . Some one said yes and we left. She either didnt have a bath or she had a really poor bath. I wrote later and asked about it and was told that she did but had been out a couple times and got dirty. Even if she got dirty paws and butt between the evening bath and our 7 am pickup she wasnt brushed out which is standard. The same person who told us she got a bath exclaimed that she got along really well with all the dogs even through shes shy which was weird as I was told twice by their staff that she was happy but standoffish when I had checked on her.Lastly, she got sick when we returned, Even though she has bordatella she developed a respiratory infection that Vet feels corresponds with the kenneling timeline. Now stuff happens but all of it together makes me wonder about the integrity and conscientiousness of the place.Lastly, I think this is a place for big rambunctious dogs and there were a bunch of big dogs there. Small dogs are placed with the puppies which are still pretty big!

The place seemed pretty good, until I picked up my dog Monday and learned that she had not eaten since I dropped her off on Friday, despite me leaving instructions on how to do so.In the written instructions in the online boarding reservation request, I indicated that she is in anxious dog and often doesnt eat at first in new places, so I had included wet food to mix with her dry and gave permission for her to be bribed with treats. When I picked her up, they handed back her bag with the dry and wet food Id left completely untouched. I asked if shed eaten -Im ok with her eating their food, as long as I know she did. He couldnt find a record of it, so went to ask and check her file and came back to inform me that they had tried their dry food, which she didnt eat, so they tried it with warm water, which she didnt eat, and then they gave up. I dont know if they attempted this every meal time, but they obviously did not look to the instructions left for her because the cans of wet food I left were never removed from the bag, let alone used. In addition, the report card they gave me (without talking over), indicated that she had been drinking water but left the amount of food eaten blank, perhaps so it wasnt as noticeable.I guess I should be surprised because both at drop off and pick up, the front desk person was brusque, basically dismissing me as soon as I arrived and not bothering to talk over the details of the boarding request, just asking her name and trying to send me on my way. I persisted in explaining some of the pieces that make having her an easier experience for all involved and seemed to get a lot of nods without much listening. All that said, she was still happy when I picked her up, and was literally sopping wet because she had come straight from the doggie pool out back when I picked her up. My car would have appreciated even a preliminary dry-off before turning her back over to me.Overall, I really wanted to like this place based on positive reviews, but I cant trust a place that cant figure out how to feed my dog even after I leave specific instructions and the means to do so.
