OMG Dr. Craft is the ABSOLUTE BEST. I went in for surgery and I was sooo scared because it was my first time receiving knee surgery. Dr. Craft assured me that I was in the best hands and everything would be alright. Dr. Craft and his team took very good care of me and even after surgery post-op appointment and follow-up appointment were the best because one again I felt comfortable and in good hands. He was able to answer all questions. I would recommend me him and his team to all my family and friends. I am thankful for physicians like him. Way to go MS Sport Medicine.

Dr Penny Lawin is incredible. I broke my foot in 4 places in January. She was thorough and I was always confident in her abilities and expertise. She did multiple casts throughout the time I saw her, she always explained everything to me and today I’m completely healed. No pain. Can wear high heels and haven’t had any swelling in the past 3.5 months. Took 6 months but I had 4 bad breaks. No surgery! Can’t say enough about how great Dr Lawin is. I highly recommend her

Dr. Almand has done both knee replacements for me starting about 8 years ago and I can only that He Is The Man! I am very very greatfull to him and my knees function pretty much as good as they always did. Hes not quite as handsome as me but that s OK too. ;) A+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Not saying that I like this place, it usually means pain. I do say that I trust them to treat me when life shows me who is in control.

Horrible patient services. Wait time has been well over an hour. My appointment time was around 2:20 (its now 3:40). I arrived early as requested to fill out paperwork, but have not been called to see the doctor yet. Totally unacceptable, and no one seems to care.No one bothers to provide any information on the delay, again no one cares. Not sure I will come back.

I was referred by my Dr about arthritis in my left hip. Dr Merhle was awesome. The whole staff was professional and kind. Merhle did hip replacement 2 months ago on me. They have made sure I understand every step of this healing process. I highly recommend them.

I’ve only been here less than a handful of times and saw a NP or PA and my actual provider once , but I’m not impressed. Every time I went, I waited well over an hour before being seen. I had an MRI done and no one called me for results. I called a few times before getting a call back from the nurse who said I needed to be seen and scheduled me for appt a month out (obvs no urgency since they couldn’t be bothered with following up themselves). I got there (no parking) and waited about an hour and a half to finally see my provider (for the first time ever). He spoke with me for less than 5 minutes over what could’ve been sent in an email. Never examined me, never asked any questions, nothing.

Dr. McLeod was recommended by a Dr. friend. After two weeks of waiting on another facility, I can not express the feeling of relief when his staff got me in to see him at their Jackson location. Knowing the condition I was in, he scheduled an outpatient procedure the same day. I received treatment at the Flowood facility and I’m on the road to recovery. When I met Dr. McLeod, I knew I was in good hands. He reviewed my records, assessed the situation and made a point to work me in immediately! I already have a follow up appointment scheduled.Words can not express the gratitude I have for this man and his staff!

Pain stemming from pinches nerve sent us looking for relief. This place is VERY busy and seems to have no concern of patients pain or discomfort. There quickest appointment was 3 weeks away

I have been hurting for a while with my knee pain progressing more lately. I know I need a knee replacement but I truly appreciated that Dr. Almad didn’t jump to surgery. He suggested a different option. I left in a little pain but by the next day, much better. Will see him in three months. Knee surgery is not a good thing right now but I can’t handle so much pain . Was a win-win!

Dr. Almand did my left total hip replacement. I could not ever say enough great things about him.I was really scared and he was so comforting and reassuring about my surgery and what would happen during and after…really put me at ease. Everything he told me was exactly on point. I went to surgery that morning 4 years ago in pain and when I came out of surgery and my leg started waking up and feeling coming back…I tell you it was as though he had replaced the hip removed any pain and put me back together…literally PAIN FREE!And as a bonus left me with virtually no scars at all. I was so extremely pleased with Dr. Almand and very highly recommend him to anyone needing hip replacement. You will be glad you chose him too!I’m very soon going to need right hip and knee replacement….Dr Almand is the only one I will be letting do both of them !

Dr. Mehrle is the best!! He has an awesome bedside manner. He gets down to the problem, and shows he cares. He did my knee replacement 5 years ago and when I needed another ortho doctor recently, he was right there to guide me through. He is very knowledgeable and really listens to the patient. I have recommended him in the past and would recommend him in the future.

I was under the care of Dr William Johnson Jr. With his knowledgeable consultation, I decided to undergo a Bilateral Hip Replacement. Dr William Johnson clearly explained the pros & cons of the procedure. Any questions that I had was answered & everytime I called his office, I received a call back in a timely manner. Dr William Johnson Jr & staff were very attentive before, during & after the procedure. I am very happy with the decision to move forward with the surgery & I am very pleased with the outcome. I went to take my sister for a Surgical procedure nice clean place they have a café whereas you can purchase small items and coffee and other beverages really good doctors the staff theyre kind and friendly 😊lets you know how things are going keeps you from getting worried

The doctors seem to be extremely knowledgeable even if you have to park in the back parking lot they have a guy in a golf cart that drives you right up to the front door so dont be concerned about the parking lot.

This place should be ashamed! I was there a few days ago, and the waiting room was badly overcrowded. People were afraid to enter. Each person turned the corner and was in shock at the amount of people they had to walk through to sit down, all during Covid-19.A staff member told me that location was seeing 1126 patients that day! And only one waiting room. I was the first patient of the day, and I waited over an hour in the waiting room. I waited another 30 minutes in the room once I got back. All of the doctors were just sitting there at the computers. There are plenty of other places you can go, and I can guarantee you’d get better service. You’d also be safer considering they aren’t taking any special precautions with Covid. I will never be back!

They did a great job fixing our sons torn ACL

We were told to be at Ambulatory Surgery Center at 6:00a.m. Left home at 4:30am to be here on time. After waiting two hours to be called back to surgery I asked why we were having to wait this long. Reply: you are last surgery scheduled. So, we have been here since 6 as instructed, it is almost 9:00. So our time has no value? Extremely disappointed in their lack of consideration or maybe it’s an underachieving scheduler to blame?Same thing happened last month with another of their doctors

I am very happy with sports medicine

I had a pain management procedure done here yesterday with Dr. McLeod and was his first patient at sports medicine. The nurse was named Devin Hinds and it was also her first time working pain management cases with Dr. McLeod. She was an absolute joy. I wish I could thank her in person. I was in and out in an hour. If you’re lucky enough to have her as your nurse, you’re in good hands.

TBH I was on the fence about my review as I was 20mins early for my appointment but didn’t even see the reception until 10 mins after. But once the process started it was smooth and fluid. The overall experience was great. Amazing staff, the doctor took the time to listen and was able to address my issue. Great atmosphere

I had an appt and was really amazed at the short time I had to wait before being seen.That was a first for me.I waited less than 15 minutes.They did my xrays b4 seeing the Doctor of which was great so when he came in he had already viewed my xrays, so he immediately told me what was wrong.Out of a rating from 1-10, I would give them a 10.Great experience, everything was over in about 1 hr.

Best of the best!!! On December 17th 2020, I tore my ACL and meniscus. I had to have an X-ray and MRI to determine the diagnosis of my injury. Dr. J. Omara is the best surgeon and doctor in the area hands down! It was my first ever injury, needless to say I was scared and completely lost. Im also a bit of a claustrophobic, so getting an MRI, especially for the first time was nerve-racking. But the staff at MS Sports Medicine made me feel comfortable and provided reassurance I needed to get through the diagnostic process as well as the surgery! I’m 2.5 months post-op now and doing very well. I don’t have any swelling and am able to walk without a brace or crutches. I can also fully rotate my knee now. All is left is working on strength and extension. My surgery went well without any complications, with no discharge of fluids during the 2 weeks post-op. This is an EXCELLENT indicator that the surgery was effective and efficient. Im very grateful for Dr. Omara and his staff for taking such good care of me. They are the nicest medical professionals, who are there to make you better and answer any questions you may have. Even if you call them outside of your regular appointment, they will go the extra mile to answer and help you. Highly recommend this facility and specifically Dr. Omara and his team. THEY ARE THE BEST!

Went here in order to have my shoulder evaluated, had excruciating pain, needed to see someone ASAP. It has been giving me problems for two weeks. The front desk was very rude and unhelpful, get to the examination room another rude encounter. Dr. Rebecca Berry didn’t even examine my shoulder or anything but what she did do without even trying to help me first was belittle me. She said outside of my room door, “another person wanting pain meds”. Like, wow I didn’t ask for any of that. I just wanted help. But she didn’t think I heard her and proceeded to smile and act interested. Is that how you treat people that trust you to help them? I will never use MS Sports Medicine again.

Terrible place! Dont waste your time trying to make an appointment either. I broke my foot recently and have tried, unsuccessfully, for over a week for someone to respond to me. They kept telling me the doctor would schedule me in, but they never called me back at all. I finally gave up on this place and went somewhere far better.

I have tendonitis in my ankle and Dr. Lawin and the physical therapy staff here are amazing. Everyone is so helpful and accommodating. The therapy is helping out a lot they massaged my ankle then iced it and the ice felt weirdly wonderful. Dr. Penny Lawin is very direct and I love that she sugarcoats NOTHING

I had the most pleasant experience at this establishment. Dr Burrows and his staff were great and the wait for the clinic is very short. Everyone is very organized and professional. The only complaint I had was on my surgery date. I was there all day and didnt have my surgery until late in the afternoon. I have a very bad back and I was in a lot of pain and was sick from not eating. However, once I was taken back to the holding area, the nurses were great and tried to make me comfortable. I highly recommend Dr Burrows and his staff as well as the Receptionist and Xray dept.

My shoulder was torn and they did excellent job in surgery and rehab to repair! No problems with it and Im going strong. Now my son has i jury to foot, and they got him under care right away.

I didnt like the long wait time. My appointment time was 10:35 3 September 2020. I waited close to 1 hour and a half, if not longer. With this current environment waiting in a crowded waiting room is a recipe for DISASTER, even with a mask. Once back in the doctors exam room. He( Dr. Almand ) came in with out a mask, so he exposed me and other patients to a wide arranged of patients that he had seen that day. The mask wearing notice policies should apply to ALL!

Everyone was so very helpful and extremely courteous. For people how have knee, leg and/or toe issues, who are not in a wheelchair, the Radiologists should be more respectful of that and take all of the necessary x-rays while the patient is in the room with them. Thanks to Kim at the i-pad desk to being so helpful.

My experience here was very upsetting I call before I arrived to let them know I was hurt on my job I will be using workmen’s comp even provided a claim number when I arrived I informed them (Maggie) again workmen’s comp will be taking care of this she in return told me I had to use my on insurance and was very rude continuously talk about me and everyone sitting in the office hear her discussion about me and my insurance I don’t think it’s fair I was in so much pain I got on my cell phone and call the phone number I call earlier in the day and I was finally able to get some assistance so I need to get a mri done because my neck,knees,legs and hip

My husband has been very pleased with the care he received before, during and after having surgery to repair a torn meniscus. Mississippi Sports Medical personnel are efficient and punctual. Our last visit my husband went in at our appointed time and was out in 15 minutes. The facilities are clean. There is a coffee snack machine area and the restrooms are easily accessible. The day of surgery we arrived at 6 and left on crutches at 1 oclock and my husband felt well enough for lunch before the drive home. Hes still recovering but has completed his PT and is slowly getting back on the paint ladder he stepped off of wrong.

Dr.Craft is a great Orthopedist. He listens to you and provides the best options. He is thorough and excellent at his craft (No Pun intended). I spoke his name to one friend, and a couple of strangers. Each response was,He is good. So dont hesitate..

The staff has great customer service. All needs were met. Physician and nurse took the time to explain my options for treatment and care. Very warm and caring environment.

My daughter injured her leg dancing and we did receive a second opinion for dr. Kraft he was amazing the only complaint I do have is one doing the paperwork at the front desk I was trying to turn in my information to the young lady and I was ignored while she sat there and whispered on the phone which insured me she was on a personal phone call and not a business call her gossiping was much more important than taking my paperwork and getting us a registered. Dr. Kraft and his nurse staff and everyone else made sure our visit was good!

Doctor didnt really take my shoulder pain seriously.

Their urgent care is a joke. Something popped or tore behind my left knee. Excruciating pain that dropped me to the floor. I got a ride to this place from my brother. Upon walking in the door, a male employee looked up from his cellphone at me, no doubt seeing how much I was struggling to just stand much less walk, and looked back down at his phone and kept on walking. Theres like 10 wheelchairs right there at the front door and did he bother to get one for me? Or even offer to? Nope. Once my brother parked and came in, he got one of the wheelchairs for me... One missing the arm pads but that had bolts and nuts sticking upwards through the arms and one of them cut my arm. Fast forward 45 minutes after filling out paperwork, I get taken back. 10 minutes later, I get taken for x-rays. 20 minutes later, a nurse practitioner comes in, talks a bit and says they need to schedule an MRI in which afterwards, Ill see an actual doctor. Problem is, they cant do the MRI for 2 weeks. In the meantime, they gave me a full leg brace, a pair of crutches and told me to go home and eat ibuprofen for the next 2 weeks. Not even a prescription for pain or muscle relaxer. So much for URGENT care. Later in the day after I returned home, they called me to tell me since it would be 2 weeks before they could get me in for an MRI, they wanted to go on and schedule an appointment to see the doctor in 4 days. Um, hes not going to know whats injured in my leg without the MRI so why?? Anyway, if something bad unexpectedly happens and you need urgent care, this is not the place for it.

My knee is so much better today after having a gel injection yesterday. Very nice PA and add. Johnson is so nice too.

I had a great visit at Mississippi Sports Medicine on Wednesday. The receptionist, the nurses, the doctors the radiologist they all treated me so well. They were so friendly, and showed genuine concern for my well-being. Thank you doctor Merhle, and the entire staff. I would recommend Mississippi sports medicine to my family and friends. I broke my toe and visited the walk-in clinic on Fortification. The people were great and made a bad situation as good as possible. One big suggestion... I spent more time filling out paperwork than I did being treated. Lots of repetitive items AND they already had all the information in their system from previous visits. They should make an investment in technology allowing patients to use iPads that have all of the information from the clinics records and allow patients to just make corrections to update items that have changed. That would drastically reduce overall time spent for each patient encounter, increase accuracy and eliminate someone from their staff having to input the manual forms.
