STAP services are needed, but STAP is an absolutely terrible neighbor. I live nearby, and people using STAP services routinely let those being treated wander onto our porch. I regularly get harassed walking by and my elderly parents have too. Often, people overdose in the day time in STAPs front yard and arent quickly attended to. Ive witnessed people die because of this.People in Ithaca vote for progressive policies, but will rarely live near them. Ive lived near another needle exchange, and Ive never witnessed one run this badly. This place desperately needs more oversight and better management.

The people here are AMAZING. They are consistently coming up with more opportunities for people who have or have had issues with addiction. They have their own suboxone program. They have a doctor on staff who is the best, along with the best nurses I have ever met. They are now offering hepatitis C treatment options for people in need. Its pretty much a free walk in clinic for people who have had drug problems.

Thank you guys for saving my life good only knows how many times. I love you guys. You guys are family.

So many very needed programs that help out several different types of people are run through this agency. I really didnt realize just how much they really offer and help our communities out until quite recently. Everyone should stop in at S.T.A.P to see how well the community benefits because of place! I SIMPLY LOVE THIS PLACE

This is a place where addicts of all varieties can feel comfortable to go & ask for advice, & help with safe clean IV tools to help aide people in not spreading blood born disrases
