Doc discovered my husband had cancer by carefully doing a screening test his previous doctor had never done. He is very thorough and careful! We are so grateful.I had an asthma attack today, and when I called, Doc told me to come right in, where he took great care of me! This office is the absolute best. The staff treat me like family. I am a nurse and I know great care when I am fortunate enough to receive it!

The first time I saw Dr. Stevanovic he was being really sweet to an elderly man in the waiting room. This kindness will be extended to you as well -- you can tell this is a man who really wants to help people by the way he takes his time with patients. Not to mention, he is a seasoned hospital doctor who you can tell has amassed tons of knowledge over his career. He will go into full detail with you. If youre looking for a great doctor, your search is over.

Very detailed oriented and provided the most thorough physical exam I have ever had in my adult life. He noticed a few concerning areas and gave referrals as needed. Dr. Stevanovic is a very knowledgeable physician with much experience and adequately answered any questions I had, he never seemed rushed at any point in my visit.

Visiting Ithaca Primary Care is more like stopping over to a friends home than a clinic. The staff are always welcoming and you feel they are truly glad to see you and care to your needs. Dr. Stevanovics devotion to quality and detail is outstanding! He doesnt miss a thing in the concern and care of you as his patient.

The Doctor and staff were all super friendly. The doctor asked many questions and goes over everything. Hes old school and really cares. I think Ive found a doctor Im going to love. Good doctors are hard to find.

The staff and nurses were so kind, friendly, and easy to work with so I dont want any of this review to reflect on them. However, Dr. Stevanovic was hands down the rudest doctor Ive ever met. He has horrible social skills and an inflated (unfounded) sense of self-importance. He insulted me many times, both times Ive come to his office. My first experience with him was very bad, but I thought that maybe I was being extra sensitive or that he was having an off day -- Nope. Even worse the second time going. I will not be seeing him again and would not recommend him to anybody.

The doctor helped inspire me to make some needed changes in my life. Also, the nurse and receptionist are extremely kind and friendly. Good people, professional care.

Only one visit so far - everyone was very nice. No waiting and by registering online there was minimal paperwork to fill out when I arrived. Very convenient and all issues were addressed/referred to the appropriate parties. Will be returning.

At first I was rather impressed with Dr Stevonavich. He seemed too good to be true, he made promises of a thorough examination and to figure out what was going on, unlike most drs I have seen. The only fishy thing that happened was him making a comment about my trauma, saying that all I had to do was forgive (my) abuser which was very inappropriate and honestly horrible advice. I moved on from it, saying, If you dont mind, Id rather leave my mental health to my psychiatrist.After this appointment, we slowly noticed more and more strange things. I was having a bad dissociative episode and he suggested I take a nap in the exam room. Hed turn off a light and leave me to sleep. He was so uncomfortably insistent on that. Finally he offered to call his wife and have her drive me home so that I was safe. Which was weird....The last straw was how he treated a good friend of mine. I attended the appointment to be my friends memory, because they have memory issues. He continually misgendered them, then proceeded to ignore them, ignoring them as they tried to mention the blood clots in their legs, as they tried to get answers for their chronic illnesses. He was constantly talking over them, he told them to Shut up. Then he diagnosed them with mtf transsexualism.....they are a trans man....as in ftm...Its like he didnt even care to look at their chart. He finalized this appointment by claiming, despite having not even attempted to examine them or even listen to them, that the only disability assistance (they) need is a jobTo my friend who most of the time cant even remember where they are. To my friend who could barely walk and had extreme ptsd.I am so indescribably disgusted by this man, and I realize that it could have been way worse, had I taken that nap, after looking at all the other negative reviews.Stay away from this doctor.The nursing staff are really sweet and need a better workplace environment than with this creepy, sexist, Ablist, Transmisic, travesty of a doctor.

My fiance and I both have had appointments with Dr. Stevanovic, and he is the most inappropriate medical provider I have ever seen. Within minutes of my appointment with him, he said You lack confidence, I can tell. He then asked me what my passions were, so I proudly told him. He told me that is why my confidence is so low, I do not have high expectations for myself and that I should go into the medical field like him. During my visit, multiple comments were also made on my physical appearance that were simply uncomfortable.My fiance has had similar experiences. He was told by Dr. Stevanovic that he should quit his job and get a job that your woman can be proud of you for. Just today he went in for a physical where Dr. Stevanovic told him to exercise more because it shows, followed up with I bet when you are around attractive women, you are self conscious of your body.Dr. Stevanovic has made both of us extremely uncomfortable to be in his care and we have already started our search for a different doctor. The nurses and receptionists are very friendly, kind, and helpful but we just cant look past the bed side manor of this doctor. It is degrading, disrespectful, and has incredibly inappropriate behavior for a doctor.Especially if you are a younger woman, please please dont go here. There are so many other options in Ithaca that wont treat you this way.

I have been a nurse for 43 yrs., 11 mos. I have never worked with or had a Physician as thorough, or as compassionate as Dr. Stevanovich. He gets me in when I need to be seen, his office staff are compassionate, friendly and professional. Dr. Stevanovich leaves nothing out as he provides care, and listens closely to you. I am so happy I found him.He takes care of my son as well, which is how I heard about him, and my son raves about the great, thorough, compassionate, professional care he has received! I recommend this clinic to ALL!!!!!

Had my yearly follow-up and get a very thorough check and discussion. I started going to Dr. Stevanovic back in September 2019. I showed up for my originally scheduled appointment, to find out it was cancelled. They had called and left me a voicemail two days prior, about it being cancelled however I never saw it. They then rescheduled me for a few weeks later, and all was good. At the appointment a few weeks later the Dr. insisted on only meeting me, and wanted to send me for blood work prior to doing my physical. I thought this was odd, since I am in my young 20s and healthy and simply just needed a physical. But, I figured it wasnt a big deal and scheduled an additional appointment for a physical.My physical appointment that was a few weeks later ended up being cancelled, and I decided to not reschedule due to my busy schedule.Fast forward to May of 2020, I called the office to have a physical done since I was going out of town for a physical agility test for a LE position. The office got me right in and was willing to sign the necessary paperwork for my physical agility test. However, the Dr treated me very oddly.I was first seen by the Medical Student, who was wonderful, he asked me typical questions about my health, and was very polite, he was to the point and professional. Then the Dr Stevanovic walked in, as soon as he walks in he put his hand on my chin and goes Wow what an ugly girl we need to get you to a dermatologist, you really are beautiful Im just kidding babe. The extent of his medical exam was listening to my lung sounds, that was all he did. Then he spent 45 minutes lecturing me on how Im too pretty and nice to be a police officer, you dont want to play with guns they kill people and turn you into a bad person and you should consider a nursing position you can work for me beautiful. After lecturing me on my career choices, he proceeded to ask me questions about my significant other. None of these questions seemed to be necessary for my medical exam.Luckily, paperwork was signed for my physical agility test. However I felt like the Dr was extremely unprofessional, and I felt uncomfortable due to his behavior towards me. The Dr wanted me to go get blood work and do a follow up, with him. He stated he wanted to rule out diabetes, despite me having no symptoms of it. I think it is very odd that he wants to do a follow up after blood work, for a condition I have no symptoms of. I am not sure if this is his way of getting more money out of my insurance or his way of seeing a young lady again.Overall, I DO NOT recommend this Dr. If you are a young female or involved in emergency services, do not waste your time and money with him.

When I went for my first appointment, both Dr. Stevanovic, his nurse, and his office staff listened carefully to my concerns and were open to my suggestions. Excellent care in a friendly, comfortable, relaxed setting. They were able to see me for a very acute, painful illness. Promptly surveyed the situation and ran some tests. Made a diagnosis and an appointment for me with a specialist the next day. By the time I saw the specialist (who was an excellent recommendation as well), I was already feeling much, much better. Ive been going there for years for routine care, but the big difference is knowing that they are there for you and CARE about you when you need them the most. This was my first time to Ithaca Primary Care and I was very happy with the way I was treated. You really get the feeling that the doctor does care. Was willing to spend as much time as needed to answer all my questions and concerns. Very glad that he was recommended to me.

Im very happy with the nurses and Dr. Stevonovich, they are all very professional as well as personable.

With only two examination rooms available in the whole facility, I waited over an hour to be seen for a room. After being checked in the nurse and doctor let me self diagnose myself. Sent me on a witch hunt to multiple different facilities to get the basic test results needed to diagnose. After 6 hours I checked in to urgent care who got me in and gave me actual results and medicine.

They are a wonderful practice where the doctor and staff really understand their people and make each visit very comfortable. They are also good about unexpected conflicts and re-scheduling. I have a couple of good friends who also feel the same way, 😊 I recommend Primary Care highly.

This practice has steadily grown and improved over the past 9 years Ive been going. They have friendly staff who patiently explain things and use new technologies. Dr. Stevanovic is very clear and will tell you like it is.

My first visit was an intimidating one given i just moved into town from FL and never being to a Doctors office! The nurses are very cordial and professional, they ask you many questions to find out truly the root and cause of your problem i am very happy and satisfied. Dr. Stevanovic is an encyclopedia guys, very knowledgeable, so ask your questions and he will encourage to do so! I have been a patient of Dr. Stevanovics for 3+ years now and he has helped me in more ways than I can say. He puts special care in to hiring compassionate, kind and thorough staff who are helpful and professional. The time that he takes with his patients is uncommon nowadays and I appreciate all the tender love and care he provides, whether it is a regular annual physical or a sick visit. I encouraged my parents to switch primary care physicians because of the excellent care he provides so now my entire family uses Ithaca Primary Care for our general wellness and health.

I had an appointment yesterday with Dr. Stevanovic. Most unprofessional appointment with a professional I have ever had. First, he very loudly discussed terminating Andrea with the whole office staff loud enough the waiting patients overheard the whole thing. He then ordered a dissatisfied patient back to his room. Said patient ended up leaving, which he learned while the nurse was doing my vitals. I was shown to an exam room. Upon entering the room he took one look at me, informed me there was nothing wrong with me and would not be treating me for anything that day. He then refused to listen to anything I said. I have chronic kidney disease and came in due to swelling in my legs feet and ankles. I had my bare feet propped up all day, so they did not look terrible at the time. He did however acknowledge swelling in my ankles and blamed it on too small socks! Maybe, just maybe my socks appeared small because my feet and ankles were swollen? I am also covered in bruises, but he doesnt know that because he refused to listen to me at all. I was clearly not drug SEEKING as I told the nurse I was not in pain, just experiencing minor discomfort from the pressure in my swollen legs. So I got no care, despite my kidney disease, swelling, bruising, and an inability to put anything in my stomach without crippling nausea, including meds. Thanks Dr. Stevanovic. Really cant tell you how much better I feel....p.s. Andrea, a job hunt may be in order. Sorry, you were great to me...

A few years ago I went to see him for a check up. He asked a few personal questions I thought nothing of it until he asked if I had a boyfriend I said no then he asked if I was a gay or something his words. And that was the end of him being my Physician.

Called about a non-emergency shoulder injury and after telling them Id pay out of pocket because my insurance network was restricted to PA, I was hung up on.

I love the care I receive at this health center and of course the control I have with my health.
