Dr Akinyede is amazing. Honestly, when you pick your childs doctor, pick her. She has been awesome. Being a new mom I have lots of questions and concerns. More than once she has called a couple days after our appointment to check in and see how my son is feeling. There is no better feeling as a parent than knowing that their doctor truly cares about your child. I recommend her to everyone.

Today was our first visit to Northeast Pediatrics and we are so pleased with the experience! We were in need of a pediatrician for our one-year-old son as we are new to the area and Northeast Pediatrics was recommended to me by a coworker. We saw Dr. Akinyede and I do not have enough good things to say about her - she was courteous, kind, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. She was very generous with her time and took the time to thoughtfully respond to all of our questions. She even called me back herself to follow-up on one of the items we spoke about during the appointment. I look forward to continuing to work with her!

Have tried calling 2 days in a row and keep getting told that they will call us back and still never received a call back

My 3 kids have Dr. Snedeker as their primary Doctor and we are very pleased with him. My second child was a preemie and had to see different specialist and therapist up until he was 4. He still has to see 1 specialist, his surgeon, other then Dr. Snedeker. Dr. Snedeker is highly educated and a great doctor. He has never been wrong and has always put his patients first. My third son developed a rash at the age of 7 and it did not itch and looked like shingles. Two doctors in Cortland and four Doctors at UpState Childrens hospital told us that there wasnt a chance it could be Shingles. Finally we were able to get in to see Dr. S. 5 days after noticing the rash and he assured us it was shingles, educated us on why and gave him medicine to help, which no other doctor had done up to this point. I am grateful that he is my childrens pediatrician. The office has always been kind as well.

Best doctor for children in the area

Weve had such a great experience with Northeast Peds so far! Dr. Kramer is awesome, alway super informative, answers all our questions, and never makes us feel rushed. Weve been able to get in the same day, and within 30 minutes for an allergic reaction. They also have a night nurse service you can all if need be, which weve had to once for a high fever. So far were super happy to have them as our childs doctors!

We moved here from Nevada, having left behind an amazing pediatrician. We really wanted to find one that could meet our childs (now childrens) needs. Knowledge, care, and compassion are most important. While front end professionalism and courtesy are also important, they dont affect our childrens health. But we found all that we could ask for at this office. We have had experiences with several doctors and practitioners, with one doctor (Dr. Harris) officially being our sons provider, and another (Dr. Snedeker) being our daughters. They are both very good at what they do. They always take time to answer questions, answer thoroughly, are patient, and have a very gentle and caring bedside manner which we find to be perfect for our children. The office staff are very helpful and friendly, and the nursing staff are amazing, as well. They are often late, but so it goes with just about any good provider; it means they are taking time to meet their patients needs rather than rushing through or just walking out after 15 minutes (which has happened to me elsewhere). We highly recommend Northeast Pediatrics.

I have had 4 children and one cousin ( I was helping to care for) here and they are excellent. In the past there was a waiting problem sometimes and that was annoying but they have improved greatly over the years on that and we rarely have to wait. My children all started with them as infants and my oldest is now 18 and my youngest is 12. They all had Dr Uphoff until her retirement a few years ago. ( and graduation to the adolescent office with dr Harris).Over the years I’ve only had a couple of issues and I think that’s normal. They were addressed. They listen. They take time with you and your child. After 20 plus years with them ( my cousin was born several years prior to my children) they deserve the five star rating.

Sometimes the staff is nice, but on other occasions they can be mean. Some seem to have little understanding that going to the doctor can be uncomfortable and stressful for patients. Teasing is rarely appropriate in a medical context

I would give 0 stars, but that’s not an option. Every appointment we’ve had we have had to wait for 30 minutes before seeing the doctor. Today we had an appointment and were told the doctor wasn’t even in the building yet after seeing the nurse (10 minutes after our scheduled time). This is a consistent experience. When we did see the doctor we were told “that’s how the medical world works”. Which is a bs response.

They refused to see my son while he was having an allergic reaction to an antibiotic because we had traveled outside of NY State. They try and push vaccines on younger children and like to have the kids in the rooms without the parents.

Same day appointments and the doctors are very thorough and take their time to answer any and all questions you might have

I rate this place 0 star due to its unreliable, unsafe practice and miscommunication all the time.

Lost the paperwork I filled out in the office and handed directly to them, before I even got an appointment. Then didnt contact me to tell me thats what happened for weeks, while my son became late for shots.
