I have been going to La Jolie since they opened - the best female beauty experience in Ithaca by far. This is where I found my favorite make up brand (I have super-sensitive skin). Ashley and her team doing an amazing job taking care of all my beauty needs! I recommend La Jolie to everyone I know.

I dont usually write negative reviews but future clients really need to be warned. DO NOT GET LASH EXTENSIONS HERE. The technician really messed up my lashes - she used extensions that were too thick for my natural lashes, which ended up leading to glue build up that seeped into my eyes. A few days after my fill, I even had glue lining my inner lash line and seeping into the under eye area. My eyes were bloodshot and puffed up and extremely painful. I went to two different technicians to ask for help and they were both shocked by the poor quality of her work (they said the same thing - the lashes were too thick, she used too much glue, and that glue should never touch your skin; they also showed me places where she had glued multiple lashes together, probably because she was rushed). This wasnt an allergic reaction. It was a situation that could have been avoided if the technician had been better trained and more meticulous. I ultimately had the lashes removed. I even needed to have an ophthalmologist tweeze glue out of my eyeballs. He told me I was lucky my vision wasnt permanently damaged.My lashes are ruined now - spare and stumpy and about 1/4 of the length of my natural lashes prior to extensions. Avoid at all costs - its not worth risking your health.

Fabulous place to take care of all my girlie needs. Estheticians are caring and know what they are doing. You feel you are in good hands and will feel wonderful when you leave. Atmosphere is lovely too.

I took my Daughter here in mid September 2018, for a spray tan (for her wedding) and the tall/blonde lady at the counter rolled her eyes while saying, Can I help you? I stated that Id like a spray tan for my Daughter and she said, We only take people with appts. and you may want to look at our prices first. Umm...excuse me?
