I’m recommending Dr. Cwikla to a friend today because of the successful surgery performed to repair my sciatica issue in 2010! Prior to surgery, I was in pain for 2 years, and it’s 10 years later of no back pain! I thank him, his staff and the person who recommended him to me!!

I 1988 Dr.Cwikla performed two back surgeries on me and gave me a chance to live a happy life. I will never forget his great surgical outcome. Thank you Dr. Cwikla and Dr. Roy Durett, because of you both I was able to workout for years, snow ski and water ski etc.. You are always in my heart. God blessed me because of you. I now am 55 years of age. Your fan always!!

I had to have 2 discetomy replacements in 2010. My C5/6 & C6/7 were replaced in the same operation. My chronic pain was significantly reduced after the surgery and I have more range of motion than before (its been almost 9 years). Even though I do have a loss in my range of motion because of the implants, chronic pain kept me from turning my head at all sometimes before I had the surgery. Dr. Cwikla was professional during visits, did not make me wait a long time and was honest with me when I asked him about additional surgeries for other back injuries.As for the surgery, my scar is very small (about 1&1/2 inch long) and is located on a natural crease in my skin so most people do not see it unless I show them. I would see Dr. Cwikla if I needed another surgery and I have recommended him to several people over the past almost 10 years. Im actually writing the review because I was getting his information for a friend and noticed I could. I have had several surgeries and was astonished at how little discomfort I dealt with after my spinal procedure. Maybe that was the drugs though, lol.Regardless, if you need a neurosurgeon Dr. Cwikla is definitely one to consider.

Botched back surgery by Don Johnston in 1988, L4-5 discectomy, which I have had issues with since. Microdiscectomy by Dr Mark j Cwikla to repair damage. Heard this happened to at least 6 others in exact same way by same 2 doctors. Workers comp.
