I think most negative reviews are for another dentist who used to work here before. Dr. Erappa and staff and very courteous and have done a great job with my teeth. Very diligent, accommodating and never rushed. Would recommend.

I visited Dr Chaitra Erappa a week back and this is my first visit. Staff took X-rays of my teeth. Doctor did examine again and explained very well. She is very patient, answers all your questions. Recommended for deep cleaning and its first time for me. She did not rush to finish the work, very gentle and made sure that I was doing fine while the deep cleaning was going on. Almost no pain and very comfortable experience.I had a good experience here. The staff is friendly and professional, they follow up after the procedure to make sure everything is fine with you.I would highly recommend Dr Chaitra.

Dr. Chaitra Erappa did my deep cleaning yesterday. I was really nervous as I heard it’s very painful but Dr. Erappa took time and kept on encouraging and calming me. It was not at all as painful as I thought. I would definitely recommend Dr. Erappa.

Using my husbands ID because I simply couldnt wait to write a review. This dentist office is so wonderful. First of all, I had a chipped tooth and had to quickly leave work and get right back to work. They were able to fit me in and take care of my chip and get me back to work all within an hour....and thats including my drive time!! They were very friendly, helpful, and did a beautiful job. From the easy to complete new patient paperwork, to insurance information to procedures, everything was a breeze! Im going back next week for veneers and cant wait. I first went here in the summer of 2014. After not have dental insurance for 5 years I had a molar that was in pain so I bought the cheapest insurance I could and came to this place. It turned out I needed a root canal and I was very distressed over it. I was upset that no one would hire me full time in those 5 years which had lead to this and it showed, always had problems containing my frustration. Dr. Chaitra was very patient with my loss of decorum at that moment and she did a fantastic job under the circumstances to build up what was left of the decayed molar to crown it. I felt like I was truly taken care of hereOver the next few years the built up tooth decayed and the crown had to be replaced. By then I was hired on full time salary into a great position with dental benefits so I could have my teeth taken care of. Because I lived in Addison I decided to go to a local dentist close to me for convenience and that was a mistake. The one I went to was an absolute crook. So when I began having problems with that molar again I went back to Dr. Chaitra and instead of charging me for a new crown (isnt covered if less than 5 years), as I expected, Dr. Chaitra replaced the crown for free and charged me only for the work to rebuild the decayed tooth. Ever since then I make the trip to Irving to go see Dr. Chaitra and I will continue to do so as long as I live in DFW. She advised me then and there that one day I would need an implant so I upgraded my benefits to include that for the day that I would need it. A couple years later that day came, the built up tooth just wasnt going to hold up anymore so I had the implant procedure done. But without Dr. Chaitras care I would not have made it to this point, her work bought me the time I needed to get back on my feet and be in a good position to be able to have this done.Dr. Chaitra has always taken care of my oral health needs and she has been more than fair with me. The care I have received under her reminds me of something my Grandfather once told me Take care of your customers and the bottom line takes care of itself Dr. Chaitra takes good care of her patients so if you are looking for a Dentist go make an appointment with her; she is worth it and she will earn your patronage because she does things with high quality and care.

Lets start with Front desk lady Jasmine was really helpful and friendly. Gave proper response for all my queries. Coming to Dr. Chaitra Erappa, really nice doctor, will clearly answer you for the all questions asked and explain their treatment suggestions. I had deep cleaning and filling done. Doctor was relaxed and caring and made sure I was doing fine while the treatment was going on. They even called after 2 days to check with me if I am doing good after the treatment. I have been going to iSmiles for about 2 years now. Unfortunately, I have to say that my recent visit was the worst experience I’ve had there or at a dental office in general. To start off, I was seen by the dentist 30 minutes after my appointment started at 9:00am. Then, the cleaning was a very uncomfortable and very rough experience mainly due to what seemed like a new assistant that was assisting the dentist. There always seems to be a cycle of assistants that come and go even with those that I have a great experience with which is very unfortunate. The customer service has always seemed somewhat inconsistent but this last visit made it clear that it will not improve. I would not recommend this establishment.

Dr.Erappa has been my dentist for the past 4 year and I full recommend her. She takes time to understand her patients concerns and her patient first. Also , her office staff are patient and resolve any queries you might have with your insurance.

Dentists and staff are polite, willing to answer questions and explain their treatment suggestions. They are willing to refer customers to nearby specialists for verification if customer is hesitant to commit to treatment suggestions. Overall efficient, able to get X-rays and cleaning within an hour.

I went to Ismile Dental Clinic with my Daughter and both of us had good experience. Dr Erappa is very polite and skilled at her work, she is really engaged and listens to the patients. My deep cleaning was almost painless even without the anesthetics, Dr Erappa made my daughter very comfortable, she enjoyed her routine dental cleaning. The staff at reception and the dental assistants are also very courteous and welcoming. I highly recommend this clinic for dental treatments.

Dr. Tella is fantastic! She is very nice, patient, and accommodating. Gina, the dental hygienist, is really friendly and puts you at ease. I went in for a cleaning and four fillings and couldnt be happier with the results. I have never had a dentist not chastise me for not flossing enough but Dr. Tella is a very encouraging dentist. My husband and I both love her and are definitely making her our family dentist.

Poor insurance management. They wont inform you properly. You have to be careful. Also, the diagnosis might not be perfect. Please double check with others before you choose it.

This dentist practice is simply the best! Always clean, always kind and professional people, always on time and very short waiting time if some at all; Me and my family have been Dr. Tellas patients for more than 3 years and we are very happy. The admin staff is always kind and willing to help accommodating appointments and working with my insurance. Dr. Tella and Dr. Erappa are very professional and honest, no complicating things and not recommending unnecessary treatments. Today I had my right wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Tai., she is the best. Initially I was scare because of a past bad experience in a different practice when I got my left wisdom teeth extracted, but this time was much different, it was quick, no pain at all, excellent attention. I will recommend this practice to anyone that is looking and honest, kind, professional dentist practice.

Unfortunately, Dr Tella is a THUG !!I went to iSmile dental more than an year ago for a basic cleaning. She checked my gums and said you will have to go for a deep cleaning and gave me a detail costly bill of what would be my out of pocket that my insurance doesnt cover and then she left for lunch. I had to haggle with her front office that I just came for a basic cleaning which never happened. The front office said, we cannot do basic cleaning if Dr. has said deep ($$$) cleaning, while the Dr. came back from her lunch and enjoyed cheetos in her cabin without any concern that the customer at the front office seems disgruntled &did not receive the service he came for.Stay away, you have been warned !!

There are dentists then there are professionals who treat their patients like family. Dr Tellah and the entire iSmile staff made me and my Mom feel like family. I was first to go here for my routine dental care and when my mother needed significant care there was never a second thought as to where I should take her.Dr Tellah takes the time to explain options to her patients. I was especially moved by the time she took to talk through the complex aspects of my mothers treatment plan which helped us make an informed decision. This is not the norm these days in any aspect of healthcare. We are extremely thankful and will always come to iSmile and recommend them for dental care.

My husband went to iSmile family Dental for his annual dental cleanup covered in full by his dental insurance. It has been a pretty straightforward thing for us in the past when we were on the East Coast.Without discussing the needs or expectations from this appointment, Dr. Sujatha Tella prescribed deep cleaning that costs $$$. He doesnt have any dental issues and this unnecessary procedure would cost us $200 out of pocket; in contrast the routine clean up is completely covered by the insurance. In spite of making this clear to her, Dr. Sujatha Tella has stubbornly refused to accommodate our request as this will make her look bad!We are unfortunately stuck with this dentist for the current year but would dissuade others from going to iSmile.It will be well worth your effort to find a friendlier, more accommodating dentist who cares about patients concerns.Update: Dr. Tella called me personally and offered to provide a regular clean-up as per our wishes. My husband got it done last week. It was nice of her to acknowledge our needs and accommodate.

Do not go here. I went 1 year ago and I am still having pain with the 2 teeth they drilled into. The doctor drilled in so far to my tooth I have nerve damage.
