I’ve only had one appointment with Dr Basavaraju so I will update as things progress, but I was very much put at ease during my appointment ! She was so thorough and it’s really clear that I’m in great hands. I didn’t feel rushed and she really took her time hearing everything I had to say and asking me questions. It’s a huge relief being in the hands of someone who really knows their stuff and is also kind. So far, I highly recommend her! Her office staff is very friendly and professional as well!

Dr. Basavaraju (Dr. B) is the absolute best in the immunology world. I have been seeing her since 2014 and she listens to you and she understands you. She explains your illness very plainly so that you understand. She also gives you advice of things you can do yourself to help your situation so you do not have to completely rely on prescription drugs! I love my rheumatologist!

My first time meeting with this Dr was not very good to be honest but it was a complete misunderstanding and televisits can cause poor communications. Long story short, I was referred back to her months later. I was desperately needing help and so tired of suffering. I am so happy I gave her another chance. She has been the most thorough and very knowledgeable about my conditions. I would definitely recommend this doctor. Her staff follows up with you and doesn’t waste your time. Thank you. I am looking forward to a lasting and happy journey to better health with this RA.

Best part was Dr. Basavaraju took her time with me and made me feel she really cared and was listening. She is willing to keep searching for a diagnosis for me despite it being a difficult task.

I visited the office as new patient. They charged $170.00 for the visit and I paid in full. lab/blood work etc were done during my visit. It has been more then 2 weeks and no update on the lab results. I have left multiple VM and they never return the call. I cannot reach them by phone as it always goes to VM. How am I supposed to know the results? Total waste of time and money.

Aside from Dr Basavaraji, the wait was a bit longer than i wanted it, had to fill out a 13 page document. but the worst part was the the technician lady that took my blood samples, she was very, unpleasant, made me very uncomfortable. dont know if she was having a bad day, but she was really unpleasant.

I love Dr Basavaraju. She takes a personal interest in her patients and has called me personally several times to discuss issues and options. Her office staff on the other hand, leave something to be desired. To call her office to make an appointment is always a long wait. Simple requests to speak with the nursing staff seems like a battle. I feel like they have been negative and rude on the phone

Well first off let me say, I am a difficult case. Ive been suffering from either RA or PsA. Unfortunately this has been going on for almost 3 years. Ive had arthritis going on 17 years, but in the last 3 years my pain has went to another level. Im a disabled Veteran, and of course the VA wrote me off as just having OA. Ive been fighting for a diagnosis and unfortunately, now my hands are deformed with ulnar deviation and it hurts like hell. I was referred from my PCP to Dr. Renuka.I was on time for my appointment, and I waited maybe a total of 15-20 minutes from the time I walked in the door and seen the doctor. Her PA or Intern was great with consult, she was also in the room with the doctor. Then Dr. Renuka came in, shook my hand and started her evaluation. She was very detailed in her evaluation. She pressed all over my body, when she saw I was uncomfortable, she would say the part of the body to the PA and she would record it. Basically, she believes knows that something is going on and my Mother has Psoriasis, and my joint pain pattern, and the ulnar devation in both hands, and enthesis in my hips.Im so happy, shes my Rheumatologist. I truly believe Im about to get a diagnosis and confident, her treatment plan is going to improve my qualilty of life. Thank God for private Insurance!

Unfortunately i had very bad experience in terms of Bills. I went to see Dr.Basavaraju as per my Physician advise since my IGE level = 2000 . Here is my experience with this visit .1. Staff is not courteous and very commercialized . They approached me couple of times for giving appointment as new patient . As a matter , i have very good insurance coverage , however they said that i have to pay $200 per visit .2. After going there , the waiting time was too much . They called me after 25 minutes that i visited and paid for them $2003. After entering into Room , i had to wait 10 more minutes for Dr.Basavaraju4. After she arrived , that she asked me the purpose of my visit and explained that my allergy level IGE =2000 . Hence as per my physician recommendation , i had to visit and make sure everything alright . Also i explained it was 3 weeks back , but not now since my physician has given medicine and now its cured .5. After taking my history , that she educated me what is the IGE and why it is too high and concluded in 7 minutes that i dont have to use any medicines since i dont have any symptoms to treat .6. After she concluded , she explained me that i may get allergies in few months also . Again you will have to visit me . She conducted few breathing test . Thats it , it was done in 10-15 minutes with doubts clarifying and breathing test .7. Finally , i started receiving bills total $476 (including visit and lab tests) . I shocked that nothing was treated me , additionally they mentioned that they conducted LAB tests and sent bills .Bottom line is : I would not recommend this Doctors office as they are THIRST OF MONEY , they suck all you money with one visit without giving any Medication . Moreover , Dr.Basavaraju was telling very confidently that i would visit her soon rather giving positive spirit to patient with good precautions / advises .

Waited 1 hr and 30 minutes before I saw a doctor. Was very mad. Very unprofessional service.
