Dr. Ghatnekar is an outstanding dentist and has an excellent bedside manner.My first visit to him was for an extraction. The process was painless all the way from injecting the anesthetic to suturing the bone graft in place to final recovery. He followed up after hours on the day of the extraction and on the following day to make sure I was pain free. Indeed I was.My second visit to him was about 6 months later for installing an implant in the opening left by the extracted tooth. This again was a 5-Star experience with no pain whatsoever after the anesthetic had worn off. Dr. Ghatnekar followed up the same evening to check on my comfort level and to reiterate the precautions to keep infection out and get the inflammation down. His second call the day after the post had been put in place was comforting and reassuring.Today, his excellent assistant, Mina, who closely worked with him on both procedures removed the sutures with no discomfort and I now have the first part of the implant successfully in place.Thank you Dr. Ghatnekar.

This is my second review of Dr Ghatnekar my favorite dentist as in all my dental problems he has corrected what was hurting. In the past I have had the unfortunate experience to have dental work done by less experience and competent dentist. He recently removed a bridge with a serious infection which had been done by a young dentist just out of dental school. He also replaced a upper front tooth that cracked horizontally which had been done by the same young dentist. Yesterday he cleaned a area on my lower jaw that was infected as well as removing a broken tooth. In addition he added bone material due to loss of bone. That could partially be due to the fact I am 84 years old. He will remove the stitches in my gums in three weeks. And in three months start the implant procedure. As you can see the patient is constantly aware of each procedure. most importantly, he listens to you. Francis l Rocha Jr

Moved to Irvine a couple years ago and started going to Dr Ghatnekar since my wife’s family lives here and has been going to him for some time. I was not a fan of dentists before, but after visiting this office, I can say I no longer dread the dentist. He helped me get on the right track with removing soda and other harmful treats from my diet and I really enjoy being able to come in and get comfortable and watch the tv on the ceiling to distract any nerves. Highly recommend to anyone looking. Great dentist.

I have been going to Dr. Ghatnekar for many years. Dr.ghatnekar is amazing and very thorough. He will explain you the things so nicely and clearly. I was highly impressed by his explanation and even he has a dedicated mini conference room in his office. He advised me to move some of my teeth with the help of orthodontist and later on He take over and put three nice implants. My bite and life has improved and I got a smile on my face. Believe me when I send my after treatment pictures to my friends and other family members they couldnt believe. Thanks to dr.ghatnekar and his wonderful staff and Mina assisting Dr. Ghatkar is also very meticulous. I will highly recommend this place for your dental needs and there were more than five stars I will add few more.DB

I took my daughter here today and the service I got was amazing!The prices are very reasonable and the care was beyond great! The assistant Ms.Mina was very caring and gave my daughter blanket and warm pillow plus ice packs for the pain. The Doctor did an amazing job and did a detailed job with checking out my daughter’s teeth. He even made sure to call us several hours after to check up on my daughter and ask about the level of her pain. Even though it was a hard procedure my daughter didn’t have pain whatsoever.

I had my first dental appointment with Dr. Ghatnekar today and I have to say it was the best experience!! He and his assistant, Mina, did such a wonderful job . Worked so well together and it was such a relaxing appointment. I had a crown with three fillings done and everything went so smoothly . You get a warmed neck pillow and can also have Paraffin wax done on your hands while you are having your work done. Was a bit spa like . Not your regular dental office that’s for sure. I would recommend this office to anyone who likes being a bit pampered and taken care of !!

I was looking for a good dentist who could take out my wisdom teeth and I went to two places in LA but I only have school insurance and I had to pay the rest out of pocket and I drove all the way from LA to OC for Dr.Ghatnekar and I do not regret my decision at all since the prices were very affordable as a student!I was very scared of the procedure but it was a very easy procedure and I even mentioned to them that I thought it would be a lot different!The whole process was very smooth and easy with no pain and the service and the employees are very very nice and polite and caring.I just wanted to thank them for a great experience!

Dr. Jeevan Ghatnekar and Dr. Neela Ghatnekar have been excellent dentists for me for many years. Dr. Jeevan has made and placed porcelain veneers on ALL my teeth due to the wearing down of my teeth from many years of clenching and grinding. At first I was a little concerned about doing my whole mouth but there was absolutely no pain involved. I even fell asleep in the chair one time. The results are absolutely wonderful. I have the brightest white teeth ever and I can never give a bad smile. I feel such confidence when I smile. Both Dr. Neela and Dr. Jeevan are very gentle and very concerned about their patients. Dr. Neela has always done my normal teeth maintenance with never a bit of pain. She is the most gentle person I know and has so much care for her patients. They are both incredible. And their staff are also incredible and caring. Go see them and you will know. I can guarantee a good experience.

Great place and genuinely nice people that help you from thier hearts. I love the televisions on the wall and ceiling so you forget that your getting your teeth worked on because you get to focus on something else. I drive miles to go here. I can not seem to change because I am so happy here. Yall should go check it out...

My experience with Dr Ghatnekar was amazing. He removed my wisdom teeth and referred me for root canal! The procedure was painless and very professional. Later he called me to make sure I was ok! He definitely takes extra care of his patients!I definitely plan to go back. I highly recommend him for any dental work!!!

So I will try it again, and just to be clear, MY dentist is Dr. Jeevan Ghatnekar, on Osborn in Irvine.Our family has used this dental office since the day Dr. Ghatnekar moved his practice to Irvine. We have referred family and friends, and we ALL agree that Dr. Ghatnekar deserves even MORE than 5 stars! The office is extremely clean, he and his staff are skilled and well trained in the latest technology. The staff is organized, warm and encouraging, and so prompt in handling every detail from scheduling to insurance claims to follow up calls whenever I have questions about anything relating to my care. This summer Dr. Ghatnekar did extensive work on my teeth (extractions and implants) and then placed a beautiful bridge, which he personally designed using cutting edge technology in conjunction with a high quality lab. If you are nervous about having ANY kind of dental work done, THIS is the dentist that you need to see! I gave him 5 stars every step of the way!

I have been going to Dr. Ghatnekar for years, and he is by far the best dentist around! He fixed a crown that was giving me problems which 3 other dentists couldnt fix. Ive never had any pain during or after his procedures. If you can get him as your dentist youre very lucky!

I had got a tooth extraction done from him. This is the first time I got a tooth extraction from him. In the past I had extractions of my tooth, by other dentist, but it was very painful after the procedure. Excellent service and caring I received from Dr Ghatnekar. The way he took out my tooth, very impressive and caring way, I did not feel any pain or pressure. After the extraction, I had no swelling or discomfort. Also he had called me multiple times to make sure I am doing okay.My whole family is his patient, we appreciate and thank him for an excellent job.

Wow, what an incredible experience. When I found myself on the west coast, I decided the 5 hour round trip drive was well worth it to visit Dr. Ghatnekar in Irvine. I was immediately greeted and shown to my treatment area when I arrived. I was then offered several pillows and was even able to choose which channel I wanted to watch during my treatment. Although I find dentist visits stressful, Dr. Ghatnekar and his staff made this visit feel like a spa day with a side of dental work! I will definitely will be returning.

Dr. Ghatnekar was very gentle and he calmed my dental anxiety. I never had such a good experience getting a crown or a shot in the mouth!!! No pain and it went well. He is worth it!!

Excellent service on extremely short notice! I just arrived in in town with severe tooth pain and without knowing me, Dr. Ghatnekar scheduled me in for the next day. After receiving treatment, Dr. Ghatnekar called me several times over the weekend to follow up and make sure that the pain was fully gone. He is also very careful and makes an effort to explain things very clearly. Overall great experience at the dentist!

For 12 years now, my family and I have been attending this office. Wendy is always so sweet on the phone. Shes always willing to work with you and accomdate you to the best of her ability. Been going to this dental office for over 25 years. Originally was owned by a good friend, Dr. Feld, who sadly passed away. However, over the past several years I have found Dr. Ghatneker to be very kind and truly concerned about my dental care. When I have had an emergency I can reach him on his personal cell phone which is unusual for dentists.His staff are very friendly and professional. They also try to get me early am appointments which allows me to not miss work. I am not sure what their prices are in comparison to other dental offices, but unfortunately for me they are not in networik for my Principal Dental Plan and so my costs are higher than other dentists that are in network. Even with the added expense I continue to go to this dental office because of all the reasons stated above.

I decided to go to Dr. Ghatnekar because he is my moms dentist. I had braces when I was younger but did not wear my retainers after so my teeth became crooked again and I had one tooth that stuck out so far because I had gotten it pulled and it grew in funny. I am 21 years old and a senior in college and no longer wanted my teeth to look like that. I went to my original dentist for this problem and a cosmetic dentist in Beverly Hills. They did not take the time to sit down with me and explore all options like Dr. Ghatnekar did. They just suggested I get invisalign which would take up to two years to completely fix my teeth. Being in my last year in college I did not want to have clear braces on my teeth with attachments that you could see. It was not until I met Dr. Ghatnekar that he really sat down with me, studied my case, and gave me a list options for my situation. We decided on doing veneers and I could not be happier. He really achieved the impossible with my teeth. He got the one that stuck out to be completely align with the others and straightened the rest of my teeth perfectly! I will never go to another dentist again other than Dr. Ghatnekar even though I live an hour away from him. Hes the best! Would recommend him for anyone.

I had been to Dr.Jeevan Ghatnekars Dental office for many years.Over the years I have seen pleasant changes in his office and also new changes in the services offered. I had Dental implant procedure done two days ago. It was fairly painless procedure to my surprise. Post procedural discomfort is almost none. My procedure was technically challenging due to missing tooth for several decades and bone resorption which needed Sinus floor lift, as per Dr. Ghatnekar. I could see it myself when he explained thoroughly, and post implant Xray showed a perfect fit. I am looking forward to wholesome mouth after many decades of missing teeth due to new technology and skills of Dr. Jeevan Ghatnekar.All members of my family have been cared for by him over last 25-30 years.
