The pre-appointment interview regarding your current health conditions is very thorough and helpful in preparing you for your appointment with Dr. Chen.The entire staff will go out of their way to get you an answer, a prescription or lab order if needed...Typically within a couple hours.As far as Dr. Chen, first and foremost, he has excellent communication skills, hes a good listener and gives you adequate time to ask questions or to explain his treatment plan. Hes always been prepared to review and discuss the current lab & radiology test results and when he wants the next set of tests to be completed.Thank You

Dr Chen and Scott are excellent providers and always take the time to fully listen and provide excellent care. My life is literally in their hands and I am healthier for their care and expertise.

All the folks at Pacific Shores are awesome. They have successfully treated my cancer and blood disorder since 1995. I would not go anywhere else.

I see Dr. Chen in the Irvine location. The offices are clean and the nurses and medical assistant are very professional. On the first visit, Dr. Chen explained to me what kind of blood disorder we were looking for. And how we are going to treat it, if it is confirmed by the blood tests in the future. Sometimes, I saw his assistant, but they are all knowledgeable and answered my questions patiently. I have total confidence in him and his team!

Wonderful experience from the fantastic front desk (Veronica and Claudia) who are patient, compassionate and follow through on tasks. The nursing staff is exemplary...knowledgeable and wonderful clinical skills demonstrated by all with Nurse Howie as the gold standard. The Physician Assistants Jen & Scott and Nurse Practitioner Andrea have amazing bedside manner as well as excellent clinical skills and knowledge...working under the direction of Dr. Nishan, who excels in all ways as an oncologist .

They are great. Having said this please know that they are very busy and regretfully they do not have a “traffic” manager so develop relationships to contact AND stay on top of your needs/questions to resolution.Accolades to the staff. They work hard and more hours than you would be aware of. Not a single bad/poor attitude among them.

The office didnt submit my husbands blood test paperwork to lab after we reminded them twice. This wastes peoples time because most patients have to take time off to go to the lab. The office is poorly run. Unacceptable!
