I am a dentist, so I am very interested in how patients are handled. Jay did a fantastic job of relating to my problem as an individual with regards to occupational physical stress on neck and arms/shoulders. He assured me that they would prefer to solve my problems without surgery if possible.

I had the WORST experience ever! August 25,2021! I have over 20 years of medical experience! During this appointment I was the patient ! I was experiencing a new onset of hip/buttock pain , pain that was unbearable!Dr.Dasilva came in No bed side manners ,stood as if he was in a rush ,stayed 4mins if that , between leaving out coming back in ! During the visit he talked more than he listen ! I was speechless! How can a Doctor come in talk and not listen to a patient and determine that he can’t help me ? Did he want to help me? I walked out crying ! I couldn’t believe it. He was not compassionate, caring or concern that I was in so much pain , my complaint meant nothing to him ! He already had his mind made up after looking at a old MRI from January,2021 and a X-ray his office had just taken !Fast forward he said it was nothing he could do for me ! Upon leaving I was crying in so much pain young lady at the front desk offered to make an appointment with Dr.Gross , so the next week I came in to see Dr.Gross ,sat in the waiting room for over an hour I was then told Dr Gross said the area I was having pain in was not his speciality but Dr Lamotta would work me in ! After sitting fir two hours I was seen by Dr Lamotta his bedside manners was awesome he sat down and listen and scheduled a cervical MRI ( really didn’t agree but understood why ) and a follow up !After the Cervical MRI didn’t show anything he said he was sending me back to my Primary Care Physician . I broke down in to tears letting him know how I felt and that this office didn’t listen or care about my complaints ! I begged him to do something because I couldn’t sleep , sit or ly down and barely drive without being in EXCRUCIATING pain! He gave me a steroid injection and said he wasn’t gonna write a prescription for a updated MRI or any other test I would have to ask my Primary Care Physician! WOW! I was in disbelief!I did just that and my PCP order two different MRI listening to me ,THE PATIENT !The MRI showed a tear in my right gluteus medius and moderate fluid build up! I normally don’t do reviews but I felt the need to this review praying that it will help someone else ! When you know something is wrong with your body NEVER let anyone especially Doctors tell you different ! You know your body better than a Doctors or anyone else ! Take care of yourself and be mindful of who you let care for you!I WILL NEVER EVER REFER MY FRIENDS OR FAMILY TO MIDLANDS ORTHOPEDIC EVER! Dr. Gross at Midlands Ortho did both of my hip replacement surgeries and I have been very happy with the results. My first surgery was done in 2007 and my next was done in 2014. I was in so much pain before the procedures, but was back to normal soon after. I had my 14 year follow up yesterday and was impressed at how quickly I was seen and how friendly and professional everyone was. I would recommend them to anyone having hip issues.

Having a full knee replacement was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made:I didn’t realize how much pain I actually was enduring! Wish I’d done this sooner!Dr. O’Leary describes the process and phases post-op very clearly, so you’ll know what’s coming: two things I would suggest you be aware of: the likelihood of constipation due to the pain meds (be prepared with stool softener or laxative), and it took me time to get muscles loosened from tourniquet.Suggestions to help your success: 1)pre-op, try to stretch and strengthen muscles if you can, muscles will recover faster 2) work hard immediately following surgery on heel slides, leg lifts, they help, 3) my favorite strengthening and stretching exercises were “sink squats “ and stair steps! Do these 2 or 3x per day! 4) physical therapy folks are great !Good luck! I’m very happy!

I highly recommend Dr. Gross and his team. I am only six weeks post-surgery but my results so far are great. I am a 65 year old female with osteopenia. I lead an active life and was concerned about the restrictions a hip replacement might cause. I had researched hip resurfacing on the internet several years ago and only found that it wasn’t recommended for older people or females. Jay and Dr. Rambo are the first doctors to actually listen to me and seem truly concerned about my condition. I didn’t feel like I was just written off like I have felt with the last 3 doctors I saw before them. I am an X-ray tech and trained in the OR helping with neurosurgery performed by Dr. Rambo several years ago and he is definitely the surgeon you want for back surgery. He is very particular and cautious when performing surgery. Every patient I have worked with that he performed surgery on in the past was also happy with their results as well. Went to this place due to frustration with another foot doctor. Dr. Saller listened to my story and where I felt the problem was. We agreed with getting a shot in the affected area. The last doctor did two shots in the muscle area. Dr. Saller use an ultrasound to see where he was pinpointing the shot, Two days later, I feel better than I did the last 9 months. The office was neat and they took precautions during this pandemic. I strongly recommend

I had significant pain prior to the hip resurfacing performed by Dr. Gross and his team at Midlands Orthopaedics & Neurosurgery. So much that I had to find a place to sit within minutes at any function where I went. The relief that I got from that surgery convinced me to get a partial right knee replacement. Now I can take stairs up and down without the use of handrails. Indeed, six months after my knee surgery I climbed seven flights of stairs, both directions without stopping nor using the handrails. I can stand indefinitely when in a group.

I saw Dr Saller at Midland Orthopedics for a spiral break to my right ankle femur from ankle up about 8 inches long. Dr Saller answered every question, showed me on X-rays what he was looking at, and was very good at explaining so I knew how to take care of the leg. I would text him and Midland Orthopedics for any issues with broken bones.

Dr James is a fantastic doctor. He saw me for my foot fracture. He told me he could fix it surgically but he thinks it will heal in a cast. He took his time to explain things to me. Would definitely recommend him to anyone!
