I have been seeing Dr Misti since she started her practice here. I see Crystal now but have been seen by most all her staff. Its like visiting family . They are always friendly, caring, professional and sometimes funny. I like them all and have never had a bad experience. Its a very relaxing environment. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a dental office that you actually like to go to and I have found their work outstanding .

Took good care of the kids. Not good care of the ones who pay the bills. Handling of insurance was non-existent. Not a good experience for the parents.

I emailed at the end of November AND called just recently to find out if they were in network with TriCare and Delta Dental because I feel like my current dentist isn’t helping me. No return email and no return call for the voicemail I left. Every time I try calling, there’s no answer. I suppose it’s back to researching local dentists.

This is the best dentist office ever! Ill start with Im absolutely scared of the dentist and as soon as I was greeted at the front desk it all subsided. I got to walk through and see the whole office and staff... everyone was smiling and attentive. Once I got to my room they made sure everything was custom to my liking.. including the built in heater/massage chair that I got to sit in during my exam😁. They made sure I understood everything going on inside my mouth and they helped to create a personal plan of action. I will def be back and Thanks again Irmo smiles😁-Jazz

I have always been afraid of the dentist, but Dr. Karen and Ms. Tammy are so gentle and kind. They make sure you are comfortable and they explain what is happening as they work. They made sure my crown was a perfect fit today. Thank you ladies! I no longer dread the dentist.

I LOVE the staff, and the customer service is top notch. I get frequent reminders about my appointments, and they always work with me when I need to reschedule. The hygienists and Dr.s explain in detail whats needed and why, but never make me feel judged (dont get me wrong, they care, and can be firm, just not judgemental! ). The decor is gorgeous, they have little favors like complimentary cookies, water, coffee, lip balm, massage chairs, etc. , but none of that is why I go. They are a five star practice based solely on how they do their work.

I have not been a patient before but was looking for a new dentist for a problem with a tooth. They got me in the same day, I was taken back before I could get the paperwork done and they quickly diagnosed the problem. The office is beautiful and state-of-the-art. I will be going back.

I went to Irmo Smiles due to a recommendation. The staff was friendly and cordial. I had a couple of bad teeth that I needed removed. They took my insurance card and information and I was taken to an office. At that point the Dr Recommended three extactions. I inquired how much would that cost after insurance. The nurse took my card again, and came back with an amount of $246.60. I once again asked it that was my total out of pocket expense, she said yes. I told the Dr to proceed and he did. Again, a very friendly staff checked me out, took the money and that was that. Until I got a bill for $506.42. I called and they told me they were only in-network for othodontia, but out of network for dentistry. I got an Im sorry but there is nothing I can do. An absolute con game. No recourse for the patient just a lot of we are sorrys. I cant believe this is legal (certainly not ethical) treatment. Now contacting SC Dept of Consumers Affairs.

We chose Irmo Smiles after seeing the office while passing by and reading other online reviews. I was looking for a dentist for my entire family, including a rambunctious toddler. This was the place. The office is state of the art and the staff is very thorough in their explanations of benefits and customer service. They even cleaned my 2 year olds teeth while I was in the chair and returned him to me. They actually said he did good without me or his father present. That says a lot about their ability to cater to children and make them feel safe and comfortable at the dentist. This is our dentist and we will most certainly be going back.

It’s always hard to change medical professionals. I moved here from a different state. I am so glad I found Irmo Smiles. I am confident I will receive top notch dental care here. The staff are professional & so friendly. You feel like you are the only patient. Their advanced technology is so impressive! And .... they have massage chairs! You feel like you are at a spa!!!

We have been very happy with the team at Irmo Smiles! After a bad experience at the first pediatric dentist office I was recommended to we moved our children to Irmo Smiles and Im glad we did. The facility is clean and well equipped. The staff are friendly and the hygienists are patient and Dr. Scott is great with our kids. Our kids grow more and more at ease with trips to the desist after every experience here. Not to mention they love playing in the play room

Recently moved to the irmo area did some research and decided to make an appointment with Irmo Smiles. The whole appointment was a positive experience between filling out the paperwork, a tour of the office and the teeth cleaning itself. My hygienist, Karen, was awesome and made the cleaning really enjoyable. She was very thorough and explained everything she was doing and looking for. Would definitely recommend this office to anyone looking for a new dentist.

I LOVE Irmo Smiles!!! I started bringing my children there just because of the cool kids room I saw online. I was blown away by how friendly everyone was and how clean and professional the office was. I then decided to start going myself and have been extremely happy there. This is by far the best Dental Office that I’ve been to, everybody there is so friendly. One of the assistants there named Allee always makes me feel comfortable during prep and answers any question that I have. The last thing I want to point out is that they remember me it’s not as if every time I go there I feel like a total stranger if I could give this location 10 starts I would they are amazing.

I went to Irmo Smiles and had a root canal and got a crown. The crown fell out 3 times (once every couple of months) and was reseated twice, on the third time it fell out it also cracked in half. I was told to come in and have it reseated again and that their work was guaranteed. I waited a month for my appointment because that was the only availability and when I came in I was told it would be $5000 to have it repaired and reseated again. Do not give Irmo Smiles your business!! Their work is poor quality, they do not guarantee their work, and they lie to you. This has been the worst experience I have ever had at a dentist!

I love Irmo Smiles. It was recommended to me and has not let me down. I went for years without a visit because I have disliked all my other dentists. The waiting room has tvs, water and coffee. There is even a massage chair. Wait time is short. They are very well organized. The site is very clean. The receptionists, hygienists and dentists are warm and friendly. I had to schedule a deep cleaning. The first visit, exam, x-rays and cleaning were covered by insurance. I had a co-pay for the deep cleaning. Thankfully there were no ridiculous charges. I returned for a check up on my gums. 👍They were good, so I returned for a 6 month cleaning. During that time period I moved out of state. I returned to Irmo Smiles because they are WORTH the drive. They have consistently been thorough, efficient, friendly, and relatively painless. I have already made my next appointment and highly recommend them 😄

If you are out of network, get ready to receive bills after a month of service at this clinic. They are arguing that what ever I paid earlier is just an estimate that their computer came up with and the patient is liable for any surprises at a later point in time. When I paid at the counter, the person was very confident that it is the final payment that I can expect. If I was made aware that this is just an estimate, I would not have scheduled a second visit.The filling job that was performed on second visit was semi professional, the dentist was chit chatting with her assistant all the time, I felt that she was in a hurry to finish up her last appointment for the day.

By far the best dentist I have ever been to for any dental work done. Dr. Karen and her assistant Tammy where amazing. The atmosphere within the office and camaraderie between the coworkers was amazing. I would definitely recommend this office over any other.

They are lucky I didn’t come with my wife to my sons first dentist appointment, after the story I heard from my wife and mother in law..got there 30 mins early to complete paper work and still waited an additional 20 mins when there was NO ONE ELSE THERE.. that will be the last time we will ever go to this office. Dr Scott is a joke and I will make sure everyone hears how my son’s first visit went today. She actually called our 12 month old an “angry red head”..(if you know us he is the happiest child ever) and said “we should be paying her “ because he “bit her”..they had no clue how to interact with an infant and acted as if he was in imposition..

I have always had problems with my teeth and gums, the team I have has taken me from a negative to a positive and I cant be any happier, with their guidance, care and understanding, together as a team, I have come a long way. I visited this office two days ago because I needed emergency services. The moment I walked in the customer service was SPECTACULAR to say the least,there was a short wait time, and the staff was very friendly and patient. The experience for myself was so great I decided to make my children appointments for cleanings in which today was their first visit and I couldn’t be convinced that this office isn’t the best my family and I have been to. This place is amazing! I get my braces on and off in only about 1 year! They are super nice and always have cookies,water, and coffee. One of my favorite things there is the game room a room that is filled with x boxes and i pads and tvs! I Love Irmo Smiles!

We took my 6 year old daughter and 4 year old son in a couple weeks ago. It was my son’s first dental visit ever so we were super nervous. Ashley and Michaela were our hygienists and they made the experience a stellar first time for him, to say the least. We had some billing issues, with getting the same incorrect bill many times, so that was a bit frustrating, but Ashley today even reviewed the bill for us and assured the issues had been taken care of. She also offered to schedule my girls with her for the next visit to ensure a happy visit. She deserves all the praise. Thank you Ashley!

I’ve been a patient since 2013 of both Drs. Jim and Misty. I met them at a wedding expo and they’ve been the same genuine people since. Dr. Bill has also been great in the last year he’s worked with me. I don’t want to single out any hygienist, or forget names, but I haven’t met one that doesn’t make me feel welcome and a part of their family. I’ve even brought my husband, mother-in-law and co-workers to Irmo Smiles because of how great they’ve been to me. My daughter will be joining the family this Spring with her first cleaning.

I came in to have some dental work fixed from a previous dentist that was somewhat of an emergency. I got in quickly and Dr. Ramen (Misty) was very professional and very thorough. I didn’t feel like just another patient to get in and out rather one that she cared about and wanted to make sure I was happy with the work. My case was more on the cosmetic side but she took the time to communicate and the work was excellent! The dental assistant was very friendly and very professional. I will be going back soon to have another issue corrected from a previous dentist. I would highly recommend Irmo smiles to anyone and everyone.

Dr. Misti Raman took time with me, listening to my concerns and with their sophisticated technology coupled with her expertise and years of experience, provided me with the peace of mind I needed to complete my dental needs.

I went in for a first time visit. I was impressed with the appearance of the facility and how nice everyone was. After my cleaning and exam, I was told that I had 7 cavities that needed to be filled. I have never had a cavity in my life so I was very skeptical. I got a second opinion from a different dental office. The second dentists opinion was that I only had ONE cavity and that it was extremely minor. I easily could have wasted over $1000 with Irmo Smiles on cavities that did not even exist. I will not be returning.

My whole family goes there for dental, pediatric and orthodontic care and we have had nothing but positive experiences every visit from the entire staff. We are very satisfied with the professionalism and courtesy as well as overall positive attitudes of everyone. You wont find a better practice!

I have never felt more comfortable at a dentist office. My hygienist Crystal explained everything she was doing and was super friendly. Dr. Rush was amazing as well. I have been looking for a dentist for a few years and for one reason or another never stayed. I see a lifelong relationship with this office.

Edit: I used to be satisfied with Irmo Smiles, but up until recently, I realised how poorly made my crown was. I have a molar crown made by another dentist and it’s superb; I’ve had it for years and years with no fractures. My molar I got from Irmo Smiles cracked twice; the first time, they fixed it but the second time my insurance didn’t even cover it because they don’t cover crowns younger than ten years-old, why? Because crowns shouldn’t break twice in two years. I’m not some aggressive power-chewer who’s chewing on rocks. I’ve done nothing different with the broken crown as I did with the awesome crown I got from my previous dentist. The newer dentist tried to justify the crown by saying something along the lines of: “You do a lot of chewing so cracks are bound to happen”...what? My crown should not be breaking AGAIN after two-three years! Simple.The frustrating part is I have two crowns from them so it’s only a matter of time until the other breaks. Very disappointed. They tried to orchestrate a payment plan with me, which is preposterous, considering it was their screw-up for the second time.

From the scheduling of my visit to the completion of a follow up visit this was by far the best dentistry experience Ive had. The office itself is very clean, inviting and cozy (cozy being a word I have NEVER used with a dentist visit). I was a bit nervous because I had not been to a dentist in a while but all worries were laid to rest from the staff being so welcoming, friendly and taking the utmost care to make sure I was comfortable. I was even offered a blanket in case I was cold! Dr. Raman and her assistants were as nice and professional as they could be. They constantly made sure I wasnt in any pain (I had to get fillings). That made me feel very comfortable and confident I had chosen the best place to make my as my home dentist!

Friendly knowledgeable staff and state of the art equipment. Came for a 2nd opinion for my child after getting astronomical pricing. Well worth the drive across town. Dr Jim and his incredible attention to detail not only discussed my son’s teeth but also showed true concern with the small airway his equipment revealed and dispelled the concerned of the first ortho with one tooth damaging the other root. I can’t say enough about this office. It was such an amazing experience for us, now I am a patient.

I was shocked by the news as I have regularly gone to a dentist. I went to another recommended dentist in the area. After seeing this other dentist I was told I only had need for one cavity and he saw no other areas of concern. I would never go back to Irmo Smiles the people felt fake and untrust worthy after my experience.
