Awesome venue! Glad to be back after over a year away for our first USA Dance since March 2020.

Very nice venue. Ive DJed there many times over the years (including last weekend) and the room has been traditionally very warm. Seems like adequate space for the wedding party to get ready before the event.

They serve the homeless free breakfast. Tables are set up and a waitress comes to take their order like a restaurant asking, And how would you like your eggs?

I have attended several events at this grand old hallmark of Iowa City and have found it to be a lovely gathering place for weddings, memorials, seminars, dances, and other events. The managers are very accommodating and friendly, easy to work with. And I appreciate all that they do for the community, including providing low-cost rental space for small non-profit organizations. And it is a beautiful, historic site that is well-maintained, as well as being strategically located.

This historic venue provides a wonderful setting for events. The staff is wonderfully helpful and really makes setting up for an event easy. Professional kitchen is a great plus. We have used them for multiple events and will definitely return.

Beautiful place for a wedding reception. Only one problem with the wheelchair lift. Couldnt get it to work or find someone to service it. Poor grandma couldnt get in to enjoy the reception ☹️

I had a friend get married here and also have been to a social event here. It is a nice venue and they take good care of it. Not a luxurious place but cozy and have done some renovations. I guess it helps that the facility didnt prevent me from having a good time at it

Great place for events, although it can be hard to get a hold of people to scheduled. I have been going to ballroom her for about a year and a half now and its a really nice open space.

A beautiful, historic venue in downtown Iowa City. Grand ballroom is perfect for a celebration or wedding reception. This is an Iowa City treasure!

Vero and the rest of the staff at Old Brick were always helpful and pleasant. The building was perfect for our wedding, and everything went so smoothly! It was particularly nice to be able to rent the place for Friday as well as Saturday, so we could hold our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner there as well as the wedding.

I love the agape cafe. The food is good and a relaxing environment

Helped cater a wedding here for a temp job a few years back. The party guests seemed happy lots of space. The kitchen was kinda small.
