Tony the driving manager and Tony the driver, that delivered the product, provided excellent customer service. From start to finish they went out of their way to make sure the delivery was made even though they were faced with many hurtles. I appreciate when people go out of their way to be thoughtful and follow through on getting the job done.

Wish I could give them a -10 rating. They are horrible to deal with and never follow through with what they say they are going to do. Plus the supervisor does not return calls when she says she will call back. The only thing they are good at is lying.

Trying to get equipment and they failed to send an email with there location and time of appointment after 2 days of asking for a confirmation email and now I do not know when I should be there today. I am contacting the doctors office about another source for the equipment.

Same thing as everyone else says...horrible customer service. Trying to a get portable oxygen generator. Needed doctors orders, which were sent twice. Several calls to ask about it. Always tell me someones going to call me back. NEVER happens. My Dads been stuck in his room for weeks now because he cant get away from his stationary oxygen generator. Looking for a different company.

Wish I could give no star. I faxed an order over for a patient on 07-01-16. It is now 07-08-16. I have called them several times for a patient in order to get a motorized scooter. Tara at this office is incredibly rude and does not return your phone calls. She makes excuse after excuse to not help you.My patient has called this office several times trying to get an answer and each time the patient tells me they are very rude to him and unwilling to help. He has gotten the run around so many times that it is ridiculous!I called today and finally got to actually talk to Tara. She was very rude and informed me that they said that they are taking care of patients that need equipment in nursing homes to go home. I explained that I understood but that does not excuse that no one has been able to even look at the order and information that was faxed in a week! Tara was reluctant to do anything and it was only after I made it clear that I was not going to go away that she finally looked at the information and said that she sees the order, office notes, and insurance information. She stated that she will check this aside some form they use to determine if everything aligns with the wording that Medicare wants and will call me back. I called her out on not returning my calls and said, Are you actually going to call me back because Ive already called several times and have never got a return call. She said she would next week. we shall see. Little does she know I am recording everything and I have her supervisors name and contact info to contact if need be.The horrible thing about this company is that if a patient has Medicare and lives on the south side of Indianapolis this is literally the ONLY company you can go through! You would think a company that put in a bid with Medicare for an exclusive contract would at least make sure they have the capability to handle the influx of orders but apparently not! Very dissatisfied and the physicians where I work have been made aware!07-18-16 update: still no response from them and they were supposed to review what I sent and fax me notification of what was still needed for my patient a week ago! Not to mention every time I have called today the line has been busy!

I typically do not write reviews, but after reading all the bad reviews and having my experience be the COMPLETE opposite of them, I felt compelled to write one. I nearly cancelled my appointment due to these reviews and Im sure glad I did not.I had a wonderful experience with Hooks. They called me less than 2 hours after I was approved through insurance. The whole process from my doctor telling me I needed a CPAP to having one in hand was under a week. The person who booked my appointment was polite and got me in the next day. Todd was the person I met with to go over the machine, get fitted, etc. He was excellent. He took the time to explain everything to me, helped me find the right mask for my needs, made sure to answer any questions I had, etc. I didnt feel rushed, etc.Again, I had a great experience with them and if you are reading this, ignore the bad reviews. There is an explanation for them which totally makes sense - I wont share it here...just know that its normal to get bad reviews in their industry (check their competitors, they have bad ones too).

My wife has crazy allergies, so her doctor recommended a nebulizer for breathing treatments. I do know that the nebulizer was supposed to be delivered to our home, and there was a bit of a struggle with that, but since I work literally right around the corner from Hooks, I was able to stop by on my lunch and pick up the nebulizer. Honestly, it was a quick and painless experience. Everyone was friendly, and helpful, and made sure I knew how to assemble, and do general maintenance on the nebulizer, and I was out in like two minutes. I guess it would have been nice to have the nebulizer delivered, but this was super convenient for me, so no biggie.

My Dr. sent an order to hooks in late July for a CPAP machine. I called in mid July asking about the status of the order. I was told they could not find my insurance, and that they called and left a voicemail. They never called me. I gave them the correct insurance information at this time. I call again today, and I was told the same thing. I have never dealt with such incompetence.

Too bad we cant do less than a single star All the below reviews are correct they are absolutely impossible to deal with they dont return calls. I think they are abusing the medicaid system at this point. To charge you rent for longer than needed simply because they wont pick up their equipment.

Worst medical supply company to deal with and get what you need. Closed Indianapolis office forcing me to drive hour from my home to get supplies due to a noncaring employee who did not follow instructions. Cpap machine was not measured for me and I was not given all my supplies . Machine is not working correctly because hoses were incorrect size.Ask your doctor for a different company.

As a professional medical provider, I would rate Hooks a zero if possible. Almost any Physical Therapy 9department in town will suggest you avoid doing business with Hooks. Their unprofessional practice and lack of follow through for their patients is substandard in many ways.

It took three months from the time the doctor sent the order for Cpap equipment until they called me to set up the initial appointment. Three months!!! that was the BEST part. The reality of dealing with this group never gets better! No service, no calls returned, no help at all. I had to find an online supplier and have bought new masks and filters without insurance. Having to deal with this group any longer would cause me to need therapy not provided by a Cpap machine.The final demonstration of what a joke this operation is, is the robot calling ASKING my answering machine to press 3 if Im not home. Id call them to end this but they dont leave a phone number. maybe Ill have my machine call their machine! Or not. Id give them zero stars if I could. Run away, try anyone else.

My father used this company for 2 years for oxygen equipment. He passed away recently and we immediately called to have the equipment picked up, and never got a call back. I tried again a week and a half later, and left a message. I didnt receive a call back. I made a third call, talked to a person who not only gave me no condolences on my loss, but didnt apologize that its now been three weeks since first contact and no one had gotten back to us. It will take another 3 days for pickup, and the best time they can give me is between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. when we are working. Terrible customer service experience. I give one star only because the equipment was functional when used.

HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!! My husband needed supplies for a c-pap machine. They screwed up the initial billing even though we explained to them IN DETAIL during our first order. It took over 15 calls from me to different people in customer service to get it fixed, 6 months later. They would continuously state that we werent covered for products and we would call our insurance and find out that they never billed insurance before billing us. We had paid the entire claim thinking it was correct. We called to have the difference refunded to us and they claimed to have sent a check to the insurance company. Insurance company said they would have returned any check to them as they cant cash it. Called Hooks/Rotech back, this time they said that we werent due a refund and didnt know what we were talking about. To top it off, we finally had enough of them and returned a full box of delivered products to them back in December. We have a voicemail from an associate stating that the products had been received. The products were removed from our bill even. They did not, however, retract the bill from the insurance company so that we could get the products from elsewhere. Called them today, they claim that the products were never returned and that they would be sending us a bill since we never paid for them. WORTHLESS!!!!!!!!!!

Quite possibly the worst customer service of all time. Out of nowhere I received a failure to pay letter and equipment needs to be returned ASAP.Called the customer service number and left numerous voice mails. Never bothered to return my call.Drove all the way to Beech Grove hoping to resolve the issue. Not surprisingly, they were just as rude in person.

There is no customer service at this office! They get around to helping you whenever they feel like it and it may be days or weeks. They provide false information when you question their lengthy delays and blame it on the doctor or insurance however the problem is them and no one else. They are not deserving of one star!

I would give no stars if possible. Terrible people to deal with. I specifically asked them to contact me first before delivery. They didnt and just showed up at my house with wrong item. They then said if I wanted to exchange I would have to drive to their office. Had someone go swap for right item and after getting it back home its still wrong. The manager Chad said he wont help that it was what was on script which isnt at all. So Im now dealing with their parent company Rotech Healthcare.

Lady who answered the phone was very unprofessional and rude. We had to have our wheel chair order transfered to Columbus because indps location wasnt doing there job after two weeks of trying to get a wheelchair.

Hooks Oxygen and Rotech, their parent company, are a huge ripoff. They keep sending boxes and boxes of unneeded medical supplies so they can bill the health insurance company. I have repeatedly asked them to stop sending the supplies but they have refused. It seems to be a common scam among CPAP and oxygen equipment suppliers. Its health insurance fraud of the worst kind.

If I could give no stars I would!If you are in need of a wheel chair do not use this company! I was in an urgent need of a wheel chair for my son who broke his leg so he could use it at school. When I contacted Hooks I explained the situation and they got me a wheel chair out right away. Tara explained to me that the wheel chair rental was $106 and some change before insurance coverage. When I got the bill there were additional items on the bill like brake handle extenders and anti-tip bars. Things like this were never discussed and explained that they are additional. My bill more than doubled from what was quoted over the phone. When I called in I was told by Tara she would escalate this to billing and get this taken care of. That never happened and when I did speak to the manager Chad, he was rude as could be and told me, he was going to get me on the technicality. That the chair was signed for like UPS or FedEx and I should have refused the chair when it got there and that there was nothing I could do about it. All I asked for was the extras be removed since this was not clearly explained. This company will try and add on to your bill exploiting the insurance company coverage and when your insurance doesnt cover the add-ons you are left holding the bill. Find someone else to do business with.

Worst company Ive ever dealt with. Took them 2 months to get my bi-pap machine to me. Now they want me to return it saying the Dr. never sent the settings so my insurance wont pay. However, when I picked up the machine the settings were in the machine. I think they misplaced the paperwork and they are telling me Ill have to start this process all over again.

Wish i could give a negative score. I always have to wait for weeks on any DME order. Just now after 3 weeks of waiting after promised delivery and 12 unreturned calls they tell me today they wont deliver something bc of his insurance. Sigh.

These people are a joke. Very unprofessional and condescending. Find another company as they are not the original hooks med supply. Felt like it was a shake down when I went for my Cpap appt. Was told 30 mins prior to my appointment to bring over $300.00 or dont come! Went to competition and was not charged one red cent or billed for any service either! They told me my insurance would not cover dme and if I would not have challenged that and went elsewhere they would have extorted me out of the extra money! Is this how a reputable company does business, I think not! Do yourself a favor and take my word. Find another company like Lincare who care about following guidelines and not pushing the barrier of legality for Medicare compliance!

They seem to be unable to clearly identify the paper work needed for a medicare billing in one conversation. Gave conflicting information. Because of the urgency of my need I am giving up after only 2 weeks and will buy a wheelchair out of pocket!!!

They are very unprofessional, they was suppose to deliver oxygen to my mom yesterday of course no one showed up, so I ended up calling, they put me on hold, and all of a sudden the call ended, tried to call back and couldnt get thru, this would be my second time taking the tanks myself, every time we call to let them know the driver didnt show, they change when they will tell us oh they cant come until a week later, this place is a joke, especially their drivers, lord Jesus please touch these people hearts something really needs to be done
