Went in for a cleaning was greeted with a smiling face and a nice hello. Was taken right back to the cleaning room where I had a nice conversation with the tech. Dr. Church came in checked me over and had another good conversation.

All of the staff are very professional and friendly. Dr. Church is a great dentist who takes the time to explain procedures and make sure all of your questions are answered. You will receive great care here!

After going in for my first visit here today, all I can say is I am totally blown away. So professional, so friendly! They make you very comfortable, explain everything, and make sure when you leave you leave confident.

Dr. Church and his staff are amazing. My family And I have been patients there for a long time at least 10 years and i cant imagine taking my children or myself anywhere else for dental services. They always make uncomfortable situations such as today (needed a small filling) more comfortable and easier to get through. I had some tooth pain and wasnt sure what it was. I was leaving on vacation in 4 days and wanted to make sure it was OK. I called and was able to get in and be checked. An x-ray was taken and Dr. Church thoroughly checked it. Of course, it didnt have the sharp pain I had experienced earlier. He was very kind and didnt make me feel bad for coming in. He told me if it started hurting again to call back. So far, so good.

The doctors and nurses here are absolutely fantastic. I had a major phobia of going to the dentist for the longest time and finally decided it was time. They were extremely welcoming and helped keep my anxiety and stress levels to a bare minimum through the entire process. I had a decent amount of work done including cleaning, wisdom tooth removal, and cavities filled. I was very anxious about this procedure, but they made sure to keep my anxiety and pain to the absolute minimum. If you are having any doubts about getting dental work done due to a phobia or anxiety issues, I can assure you this is the right dentist to go to. Every one of their staff members I met were so nice, calm, and respectful and walked me through the process perfectly and professionally. I still need a little more work done and I have no doubt that Im going back here to finish the work needed to be done on my teeth. Thank you so much, you are amazing Washington Street Dentistry!

I love going there you are always treated like they have known you forever. Appointments run pretty on time with very little wait time. Dr. Church always takes time to answer your questions. I have never had a complaint except for maybe this last time. I love having my teeth cleaned it always is done with caring technicians. This last time my favorite part was skipped. I love having my teeth polished at end but didnt happen this time. Not sure maybe has changed since covid. Both my sons had appointments to get teeth removed. They were nervous but the staff helped them feel comfortable. They both did a great job with the procedure and the hygienist explained everything when they were done.

It so refreshing to have Dr.Church and his amazing staff here on the eastside! They truly care and have such compassion for each patient. Youre more than a patient they care for you like family!

Communication is horrible. Allowed me to sit in waiting area for 30 to 45 minutes before they told me that they could not see me for my procedure because a medication was failed to be called in for me to take a hour prior. Tooth is in horrible pain and tried to schedule me three weeks out. Had to go to another urgent dental nearby. Was seen immediately and provided care same day by them. I had already seen the Dr before 3 weeks prior, but was told Dr had just looked at my chart that second and wanted me to take a antibiotic an hour before. They texted me confirming all day, you mean to tell me you wait until I get there and sat for a while to tell me you can’t see me and I’m pleading cause my mouth had already been in so much pain since the last visit. Smh Never again

My cleaning was ok, but go somewhere else if you need any more work done. The technician (after the dentist left... saw him for all of 4 minutes while he ground my tooth) clamped my lip in a Tofflemire retainer and proceeded to deny that she did so. My busted lip says otherwise.

Myself and my 7 year old went in for cleanings, the office staff was very courteous, the hygienist did a very good job with not only myself but my daughter, I was on the room next to her, and could here them explaining every thing to her, they were Great!! I highly recommend you try this office if your looking for a good Dentist, Dr. Church and his staff are amazing.

My grandmother loved Dr. Church and his breathtaking blue eyes! She was a form patient of Dr. Churchs and brought me here when I was a kid. I grew up loving to go to the dentist because of this facility. It is great for kids, teens and adults. They have you right in and right out with a nice open relaxing waiting area. It is clean, friendly, convenient, and informative. They do an outstanding job from cleanings, wisdom teeth removal, teeth whitening, and root canals and more! I refer everyone to Washington Street Dentistry and wouldnt dare go anywhere else!

Misplaced my wallet and told them Id call back with credit card info for payment. They didnt tell me Id have out of pocket expenses to begin with. Never owed them anything in the past and I have insurance. They had the worse careless attitude then you would ever imagine. Just an outright insult.. Dr Church has always been pleasant and respectful but principal comes to play in some instances and my family will not be returning to this office. I hate playing the race card but what if one of there wealthy caucasian male patients had the same issue. Im sure they wouldnt have made him reschedule. This is Indiana and thats not far fetched at all.... its a shame! Ive been a patient for over 8 years!

They really just let me wake up early to get here just to find out they wont clean my teeth until I pay my entire balance I owe. I was already upset cause I dont currently have insurance and they refused to just do the cleaning without the X-ray and exam which is an extra hundred dollars. I just moved to this area and just chose this place hoping it would be good. Im never coming back here again.

This dentistry is by far the best I’ve ever acquainted. It has everything: Nice dentists (especially Brittany!), fine tools and a bathroom! This place makes your teeth squeaky clean! If you don’t have a dentist and need one, BAM! This place is your choice!!

I started going to Washington Street Dentistry in 2009 after moving to Indiana the previous year. The whole family has been pleased with the whole experience. I have had extensive dental work done from root canals, bridges and now implants. They are very accomplished with their work and I dont fear going in for cleanings, checkups or any work needed. Everyone is very friendly and caring.

I have been going here for that last three years. These people are great. Its impossible to get the same tech every time you go in there that you will be comfortable with luckily, everyone is so pleasant and knowledgeable in what they are doing. I used to live close to the office but have recently moved. I will gladly drive 25 minutes for the experience. I love these people. If you dont already visit this location you must begin.

My wife and I have had our dental needs met at Washington Street Dentistry now for about 3 years and are very pleased with the care we receive from both Dr. Church and Dr. Hampton. The technicians and hygienists are just top notch; very caring, gentle, and efficient. I will give them 1 star for friendliness but beware of their dental service. They are not competent. I had fillings put in and 2 weeks later, they came out!!! They had to glue them back on. Its been barely a year and more fillings have come out. I had a filling on back tooth for 10 years and never had an issue, they took that out and I regret that they did that because that was the strongest filling than they have in their entire office. They dont seem to know what they are doing. Would NEVER go back and wont and regret that I did. So disappointed! I came because of the reviews too but dont believe everything you read. Find out regrettably or not for yourself. In my case, it was regrettable.I want to remain anonymous obviously but rest assured, I was a patient and am no longer due to reasons stated above. I understand that your goal is to do a great job, in my case you fell short, unfortunately for me but lucky you, you still got paid. I, however, will have to get new fillings thanks to your office.

They are not organized at all. I should not have to redo the same paperwork at every appointment. I have had to use two different vacation days from work to deal with this issue. No one will take responsibility for the lost paperwork and no one has yet to apologize for the mishap. I will not continue to bring my daughters to a place that cant acknowledge their wrong doings.

Every experience Ive had here has been awesome!! I refer everyone I know! I been going her about 3yrs or more now. Wouldnt change for anything. You will not go wrong. Dr. Church is AMAZING, very humble and a pleasure at ALL times.. Along with the staff! Great team!!

From the time I walk in the door I feel the love from the staff. They greet you by your name when you arrive for your appointments. I think that shows that the staff make it their mission to knew each patient by name. Dr. Church is always so friendly and ask you about your day. I always look forward to my next appointment because the staff is so friendly. Who knew a person would be looking forward to going to the dentist. I like the friendly reminder of appointments whether its by text, email or phone call. I always talk high about my experience I have after leaving the dentist. Washington Street Dentistry is the best!!!!! Liz worked on me today and took great care of me. She made me feel comfortable and explain everything to me in detail. But it wasnt just the service I received she took the time to ask about me and how I was really doing. The whole staff is great and you can just tell there is a lot of loving care at that office.

This is the best dentist office my kids and I have been to since Ive been living in Indianapolis. Great customer service from the front desk to the back office(staff). Never stayed longer than an hour. Love this place and will continue to go as long as I live here.

Washington Street Dentistry ranks at the top, for me. Not only is the staff cordial and helpful, but the professionalism of both Dr. Church and his assistants certainly ranks at the top. My wife and I began seeing Dr. Church and Washington Street Dentistry shortly after they opened the practice on the far East side of Indianapolis. Ever since, we have been thoroughly satisfied with their work, their attitudes, their service and their desire to serve our dental needs. Across the years I have referred many international as well as American friends to WSD. They all gave me personal feed back in the five-star range. Keep up the good work, guys.

They took their time to answer everything and walk me through step by step! I did a walk-in because of severe pain and then they worked me in the next day for the procedure! I have been with the Washington Street Dentistry since around 2008 for my routine cleanings. This year was the first time that I had to have what I call major work done. I broke part of my tooth and had to have a crown put in. I didnt know what to expect but the staff made me feel comfortable by explaining the procedure to me step by step. The staff in very efficient and seem to know exactly what they are doing. I had a very good experience. My experience with Dr church and the entire washington street dentistry staff has always been a pleasant one. They always cater to my dental needs with the utmost professionalism. I recently had a bridge done where there was a missing tooth that I had pulled over a year ago. I went in for my prep two weeks prior where they did an awesome job shaping the teeth that were in front and in back of the open space getting them ready for my temp crown. Once I returned back for my bridge I was impressed that the color matched my regular teeth so perfect. Once we got it to fit perfect, the bridge went in and it was great. Felt like I had my old teeth back!!! .Im back to chewing on the left side now with no problem. On top of that when I smile theres no missing teeth:) Thank you Dr Church and staff for always taking care of me. Will G

I cannot say enough good things about Washington Street Dentistry and Dr. Church. I had frightening dental experiences as a kid and as such didnt get the dental care as I should have as an adult. Im paying for it now. Ive had my wisdom teeth out, a root canal, a broken tooth repaired and crown. Now ask me if I remember any of it? Or felt pain? Nope! :) Dr. Church and his team have taken the fear out of dental experiences. They have lots of solutions to deal with pain and dental anxiety - please just be honest and ask - they wont judge. :) I encourage everyone to get the care they need here. You will be glad you did and wished you had done it sooner like me!

Very unsatisfied with my visit yesterday. Had made an appointment in the office days before for my son all to get there on time and wait 25 minutes before being told my son could not be seen because I did not confirm the appointment by text. Even though I spoke with office staff hours before the appointment because they needed to cancel my other sons appointment. I informed her I would be in there today. This was not fair to my child or myself for taking time off to be there. This office is not good if you have 2 children and would like them to be seen at the same time or if you mind being put on the back burner for another patient when your appointment is in place . Office staff were not very understanding at all and apparently not wired to understand parenting. Myself and my kids have been going here for over a year and I have never confirmed an appointment at this office through my cell phone, even the appointment the previous Friday. So for them to make this as an excuse really pisses me off, So unprofessional, I would never treat my patients the way I was treated yesterday in this office.

I have put off going to the dentist for way too many years because Ive just disliked going. My husband had dentures back in February and they did an awesome job and then my adult daughter, who was severely afraid of going to the dentist, went in September and they did sedation and she had no problems and just raved at how well she liked them so I finally decided I would go ahead and try them. They are very nice and tell you everything that they are going to be doing and why. All of the people that work there are wonderful. Dr. Church is very nice and did not make me feel ashamed for not going sooner which was a big worry that I had. I would highly recommend Washington Street Dentistry to anyone who has had issues in the past because they are very compassionate and make you feel at ease. They were amazing until i found i am no longer a patience there because I cancel to many appts. and missed a few appts. Make sure you find out how many cancellation and no shows you have before you become there patience. Ive was there bout 4 years.

I initially went to Washington Street Dentist and had a good experience. However, when I recommended my daughter there apparently things have changed. My daughter and I are dreadfully afraid of the dentist because of our prior bad experiences with the Dentist. Unfortunately, she had yet another bad experience with Dr. Church. He was not very kind to her. I had heard from other people that they had a bad experience from Washington Street Dentisty but I didnt believe it but now I do. I am very upset about my daughters experience with Dr. Church and the staff; and now we have to find another dentist.

I have been coming to this dentist office for years and the way I was treated by Dr. Church front office staff ladies was ridiculous. I just finished my treatment for fillings and was walked up to the front desk. I was informed of an amount due today. I explained my understanding is that I would pay the deductible today and the remaining balance after my insurance was billed the claim amount. As I was handing the lady with blond hair my HSA card, the lady with brown hair began to aggressively come at me about the predetermination was made so we already know how much you owe and here you pay before the insurance is billed. I explained I never paid for any services here before and normally when I go to a medical office, I pay after the insurance is billed. This whole conversation is being said out loud where others in the waiting room can hear, very unprofessional. Then the blond hair lady states the reason you did not pay was because you had state insurance, I had to remind her that I have not had the insurance since 2012. Then the brown haired lady would not stop badgering me, to the point I had to threaten to walk out of the office. I have never been treated this way since I have been receiving dental treatment at this office. I expect professionalism when an office staff has to deal with the public and sensitive medical information. The way the conversation has handled by the office I am sure there was a HIPPA violation. This incident became out of hand when the brown haired lady would not stop talking and let me think. The office would have received the full payment had she and the blond haired lady remain professional during a misunderstanding.8/9/17 I am adding to this post, after I decided to give the office another try because I like the Dental Hygienist I see there. So, I called the office to schedule and appoint for a cleaning, only to be told my account has been marked inactive. I asked why and Amanda in the front office states because of the nasty Goggle review we received. I stated did someone contact me regarding the nasty Goggle review...No. She stated it is Dr. Church practice to just inactivate the client when there is an issue with the office. Im thinking this is terrible customer service and not a care in the world about how patients in the office are treated. So, I stated since this is how he treats his patients then I wont be coming back. Shows me they only care about the money and the value of the patient experience. What is so crazy is I see they respond to the good comments, asking how they can make the experience better. Its those who have had a bad experience you should most want to reach out to even more. When something goes wrong do whats right to resolve it. I was all good, then Amanda opened up and let the truth out. Thanks Amanda!

I have always been scared of the dentist and this office has made my fear simply fade away. Dr. Church is an awesome dentist and a very genuine person. I couldnt ask for a better office to go too.

Im a young adult & my parents have officially stop making my appointments for me, so I was already nervous. I was very scared coming in due to very aggressive dentists in the past. All the staff were really nice & when I had to come back the following week for a couple fillings. I was comforted & was told everything before & during. I still see dentist visits as necessary evil but setting appointments & going for my biannual appointments isnt so scary now. (& its a plus that I can tell my parents I actually scheduled & went to my own appointments. Lol)
