COWARDS! My son was sick for 10 days with head congestion and cough but no fever. I had scheduled an appointment early Monday morning but they didnt have an opening until Tuesday. Tuesday morning rolled around and they called me to inform me they will not see my son in person. They would see him via computer. I asked if they could determine if there was an issue with his lungs via the computer. They could not. They told me if I want to get his lungs checked out I had to take my son to urgent care. It would have cost $30 for a doctors visit but the urgent care cost $100. All he had was an URI and needed antibiotics. Do you realize how many illnesses contain congestion and cough as a symptom? ITS NOT JUST COVID-19!

Getting back as a new patient took a couple minutes but the staff and doctors were wonderful and listened to our health concerns. She took the time to explain everything and what the labs were going to be going over. Very pleased to have a wonderful doctor who starts by looking at what’s going on inside the body.

I am not one to post bad reviews. I try to keep things in life positive. However, when it comes to a child’s health, I feel like everyone needs to know what they are getting themselves into when it comes to their child’s doctor.Any Myler has been the PA that we have been seeing and I love her. She’s sweet and energetic as well as very easy to talk to.My issue with this clinic is their staff. I find them very incompetent.I took my daughter to get wellness check as well as to get her a couple vaccines. My first issue is that the office is never prepared... they had no idea what vaccines were next when we arrived and took at least 30 minutes figuring it out. Normally, Dr offices have that figured out when a child is scheduled for vaccines. My daughter received her vaccines and shortly After we left I received a call from the medical assistant that one of the “vaccines” my daughter had received was in fact only saline water...she had forgotten to mix the powder in the saline. This scared me because if they could make a mistake like this then who knows? They could Inject your child with an incorrect vaccine! Scary. Needless to say, I will be finding another doctor’s office.

I went to see dr. Fernández he was exceptional. Ran all the appropriate test and is helping me get down to the root of my issues. Which has been a huge problem with drs in Brevard. Most just want to put a bandaid on my issues and not find what’s causing them. I did have to spend some extra money on testing which in my case I was totally ok with. While dr Fernandez is amazing the response time and competency of his staff is subpar. Phone is really answered in the first call. Voicemails are almost never returned. Emails in the portal take days. Test results are not given to you until they say of your next appointment. And that for some could be fatal.I truly hope that they change their policies and procedures so that the office can run smoother and more effectively. They are losing patients and not because of the dr but because of the staff.

I’ve seen Amy Myler several times now for my multiple health issues. Not only does she listen, run all the tests, and assist in my healthcare journey, but she actually cares. If I had found her 15 years ago, I completely believe that my symptoms wouldn’t have gotten this bad. I’ve dealt with shady doctors all this time that either didn’t listen to me or just regurgitated what they read in books from the 50s. I’ve moved around a lot, but because I finally found her, I am never moving again!! Thank you so much!!

I have never before written a negative review, until now. I went to the Moscati Center after asking people if they knew of a doctor that I could consider my local primary care physician and also wouldnt mind my having other functional medicine or natural doctors. I was so excited to have someone close by that would both look at root causes and function as a primary care physician. I called the office and had trouble getting a call back despite messages left. I almost gave up. I called one last time and got a real person and made an appointment. I was asked if I had insurance, I said that I did but I always self-pay because my insurance is so terrible with an extremely high deductible. They said they had to know my insurance carrier. I gave it, unfortunately. I was clear I wanted to self-pay, I specified that multiple times on the phone. Finally, at my appointment I again reiterated I was self-pay and they ran my card. Keep in mind, I had someone who told me what her self-pay amount was and I had budgeted for that amount and assumed that I would be charged that amount. The office staff ran my card for a MUCH higher amount. My mistake was I did not notice that at the time. I just assumed I could trust them when I said I was going to self-pay and NO one else I have EVER gone to has had an issue with self-pay, even knowing I have an insurance they may or may not accept. The next major step in this gigantic debacle was my actual appointment. The time it took from being called into the office until I was back in my vehicle was 22 minutes! I felt completely rushed, not at all listened to, I felt I was pegged and put in a box even though I reiterated a number of times that I have numerous genetic mutations that affect how issues present and then may appear that I lack something but will have trouble taking a supplement because of another genetic mutation in the pathway. Plus, the irony, I was asked if I had insurance DURING the appointment and I again replied that even though I do, I self-pay, only to have her say oh, good and then check off a very large number of labs for me to have done. I left in disbelief about how the appointment had gone. Then, I had an health issue that affected the directions I was given for having the labs done. I try to call the office, cant get a real person so I left a message, NOTHING. My patient portal invitation also took more than two weeks from my appointment date to be sent so I couldnt contact them that way. Then my husband saw the bill come through on our statement, plus a bill in the mail where we owed more. Again, we knew what it should have cost if we did self-pay. I called and actually got a person, they told me my insurance paid nothing because of my deductible. Wow, again, the irony. I explained yet again that that was exactly why I asked to be self-pay. I ended up paying MORE THAN DOUBLE what a self-pay person does, for a useless 22 minute appointment. To make matters worse, when I asked why in the world they submitted anything to insurance and ran my card for the amount they did, after I was totally honest and said I wanted to be self-pay, they told me that my asking to be self-pay when I had insurance was fraud! This office knowingly runs my card in a manner I specifically did NOT give them permission to do and I am the one who is being fraudulent. Would being honest with me have been so hard? Just let me know if you are refusing to let me self-pay so I can make an informed decision before I come for an appointment. And, lets not forget the simple fact that it is NOT fraud. Next, I actually get told by the office staff they cant answer my questions about the bill (I have done the right thing and paid it all in full despite the ridiculous behavior of the office staff) and I am told I have to call the office in the Orlando area and talk to them. Guess what, I am still waiting for that return call two months later.

I have been a patient for years. I feel that Amy is very knowledgeable and lets the patient have a say in the treatment. She is great at listening, and understanding that no 2 people are the same. I feel I am treated as an individual, with individual needs. My only complaint is the office staff is very busy, and sometimes does not return calls in a timely manner. Overall I am glad I found Dr Fernandez and his staff years ago.

Unprofessional. Incompetent. They don’t call back their clients.I’ve always had a primary care physician with no issues but over the last few year of only seeing urgent care, I wanted to establish a doctor.I set up a physical to establish the doctor since those are covered by insurance and I don’t have any pressing health matters. They asked if I wanted to do a pap and I said I was due since I was in the second year.Well now I owe $1500 for a free checkup! They coded lab tests wrong. The physicians assistant Amy left a message and I called back several times. She never returned any of my phone calls. She made the office assistance set up another appointment so she could let me to take a couple supplements. Complete waste of my time. When I called back with instructions to fix my lab bills, no one listened. No one returned my calls. Not the quest rep (who said they didn’t pay because I already had a physical. Um, no. This is a coding issue. No one is listening) , no one called from from the Kissimmee office that does billing, not the PA Amy, and not the receptionist at Moscati. I have spent hours of my time calling this office to fix THEIR mistakes. My insurance company has finally decided to step in and contact them for me. I truly regret ever stepping foot in this place and can’t believe how much time and aggravation I have had to deal with due to a free wellness exam.

Ive been working with different Dr.s for the past 3 years with no changes in my health. No one had any answers that worked. After doing a couple of different test Dr. Fernandez recommended he discovered my health problem. I am encouraged and following Dr.s orders.

Incredible all around. I saw Amy Myler, PA. Very intelligent, knew her stuff, and diagnosed me when my last doctor had no idea what was going on. The treatment is working. Update: its now a couple years later after having had reflux and digestive problems. I had low stomach acid and the natural supplements and eating advice she gave me not only stopped my reflux, but my digestive problems, and I have so much energy now that it has changed my life. I had no idea how fatigued I was. It wasnt that I was lazy or anything it was a low stomach acid problem needing fixed. Go check them out.

I had an appointment to discuss a GI-related issue. One of my first questions was should I just go straight to a specialist? I was assured by Amy that there were many things that they could do before it got to the point where I would need to see a specialist.I was told the test I needed to take would take 3 weeks to come back. During the 3 weeks I was waiting, I visited the office twice complaining of severe abdominal pain and other symptoms. One appointment was an abdominal ultrasound that I never received results for. I lost a significant amount of weight due to not being able to eat. I informed Amy and the nurse that it was directly affecting my life and I didn’t even want to leave the house. When the results came back I had to wait two additional days to come in and review them with Amy. I feel that given the amount of time I had been suffering, my appointment should have been expedited. When I had the appointment, I was informed I had a bacterial infection from bacteria that was NOT supposed to be in my GI. I asked how I would have gotten this and Amy said I picked it up somewhere and gestured hand to mouth. I was told I would need antibiotics for two weeks. HOWEVER, the antibiotic was not listed on the results report and that Amy or Paola would need to be in contact with the medical testing company to find out the appropriate antibiotic. I feel as though this information should have been taken care of in the two days I had to wait for an appointment. The next day was Friday. Because I was told I needed an antibiotic, I called the office Friday morning explaining that I was trying to get the antibiotic called in to the pharmacy before the weekend. I called at least four separate times during the span of the day trying to get in contact with Paola who should have been handling the antibiotic information. Every time I spoke with the receptionist she was also confused as to why Paola had not called me back. At no point did Paola ever return my call. Josie, the receptionist and only redeeming quality of this office, took it upon herself to transfer me to a nurse at the other location in Kissimmee and I was informed that Paola waited until the end of the day to contact the medical company, got no information, and the office was now closed and I was stuck waiting till Monday for any type of information or medical plan for me.The following Monday, i was contacted by Sonia from the Kissimmee office who said she would be in contact with the medical testing facility that afternoon. I informed Sonia that i had visited the ER on Saturday due to being so sick. I would have hoped this would have finally conveyed the seriousness of what i have been dealing with. It did not. I never received a call back from her. I spoke with the receptionist who said she would have Sonia call me first thing in the morning as she had left for the day. When I called Tuesday morning and left a message that I would like to be called back, my call was not returned. I called back at 11 and spoke with the receptionist and said that someone needed to contact me immediately with some type of information. I was transferred back to Amy the PA in the Indian Harbor Beach office. Amy’s first words were: I was supposed to call you last night, but I forgot! Completely unacceptable. Amy informed me that the bacteria that she said I picked up was normal bacteria and an overgrowth. Also I would like to add that I relayed my “diagnosis” to another doctor on Monday and she immediately said that the bacteria was a normal find. It took Amy a week to figure that out. She did not address that she previously said that it was a bacterial infection of abnormal bacteria. I was not given a plan of treatment that I am in any way confident in. I feel as though Amy and staff were out of their depth of knowledge with my case and that should have been brought to my attention earlier as I have wasted all of that time at this office. My health was not treated with importance even with the severity of my complaints. This office is severely lacking and incompetent.

Dr. Fernandez is a God-Send. My first visit he sat down in front of me, looked me in the eye and listened to my story. He diagnosed me (unofficially) in under 10 minutes with Lyme. Tested positive less than 2 weeks later. His staff is super.Thank you guys! 🙏💞Bless you.Carol
